“Thanks Mike and Andre (and the other unnamed employees) We were in Bar Harbor for 3 nights: we ate dinner here twice and one lunch. We tried the whole fried clams: fantastic! Lobster, fried haddock, lobster, lobster stew and local beers. Super value and super fresh. All the employees were smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this place!!!!”

When I got there this morning, I explained that I Dunkin was out of the big boxes of coffee and they offered me to rent a carafe. They saved the day! We waited a long time for the food (could partially due to it's being a Friday night). It's overpriced for the amount, but we paid for quality not quantity, and the food tasted better than most restaurants we've tried nearby.
It's a little noisy, but the table was cozy enough so we can still talk normally.”

“Food is good, Father's day they had an awesome French toast that I still want to go back for. Sadly they are not really handicap accessible. There is one table for two at the left of the door that you can work with in a manual wheelchair if it is available. Other than that one table though, there is no other options that you don't get in the way or get bumped into, as the only other two top table is in the middle of the already tight isle. I sadly do not recommend this restaurant if you having any mobility issues.”

“On vacation from North Carolina, went twice. First time the food was amazing, best roast beef sandwich and fried chicken wrap I’ve ever had. Was given the wrong burgers, when I called back the response was so impressive, apologized for the mistake and immediately corrected. Second time I came and the food was consistently amazing. Went with a double burger instead of a smash burger this time, best double cheese burger I’ve ever had. The service, taste and portions are so worth the money. This place is a must go if you’re in the bar harbor/bangor area.”

“This is the store for cooks and kitchen folks. Anything you can imagine, they have it. They also have fun gifts, cards and a coffee roaster on site for locally roasted coffee. 25 years ago I was a regular here. Came back in 2024 for the first time in over a decade and found it wonderfully the same.”
