Never knew I needed Fideo in my life until it came with my meal and now it’s literally my favorite thing here(I love everything I’ve had here). “This bar became my home away from home in March of 2021. I've seen its ups. I've seen its downs. This bar has so much potential to be the night club that Bay City needs. The issue is in today's world it seems that the only people that want to be a bartender are the people that want to do nothing and get paid for it. So they see a lot of bartenders come and go once they get told they actually have to work for their money. I know the manager is struggling. But she loves that bar and she needs your support. Bring your business to this bar and watch this bar return to its former glory! Oh, I forgot to mention the Line Dancing that they have every Wednesday!”

“This place was absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a great date night spot, this is it. There is a HUGE variety of games, it's super nostalgic and there's so many games that are only a quarter still! My personal favorite pinball machine was 1 quarter to play, felt like Vegas and was adorable. 🤩 The workers were a delight, super helpful, happy to be there, kept it super clean and the pizza spot that just opened next door was delicious! We will absolutely be coming back and I hope to bring some friends.”

“My husband and I were in town yesterday and decided to give you a try since we are fans of Richard Eats & Bre. I couldn’t get over how large the portions were, I had the French dip with rustic fries and my husband had the teriyaki rice bowl. We enjoyed our meals and wish I would’ve been able to take my leftovers home but I wouldn’t have had a way to keep it cold since I had more running around to do. Our server was very nice and attentive as well, we will be back at some point.”

The birria tacos alone are worth driving the hour away that I live. The salsa was great, the guac was outstanding. The rice was delicious and cooked to perfection. The refried beans were by far the best I've ever had. I will certainly be returning!!!”

“The food was delicious. I recommend the ceasar salad and 10 inch pizzas. The Calzones performing were fabulous. Lauren always does a great performance. Was disappointed that when I found a mistake on the bill, our waitress became defensive, kept overtaking me and patronized me. I hope it doesn't happen again. It was just over a couple of bucks, but that wasn't the point. To make things worse she was complaining to another waitress about what we talked about, and they quickly looked over towards us, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. We were having such a nice girls night out too. I do recommend Kevin's place. Hopefully, she will be more understanding, professional etc”

“Stopped in with a friend and was impressed with my dining experience. Our waitress, Kristina, was so accommodating and personality plus. I had the scrumptious salad with blueberries, cranberries, bacon, chicken and lots of greens. My friend had the perch dinner which she loved. We completed our meal with a fantastic dessert which was raspberry, donut cheesecake...yummy. we will be back.”

“This is one of the cutest coffees piece ever been too! If you’re from the area or in the area for any reason, do not skip out on this place!! The barista behind the counter was so friendly, answered all our questions. Our food & coffee was out so quick which gave us plenty of time to enjoy it while we hung out in this beautiful place. The hot latte I got might be the best latte I’ve ever had, and I am a huge coffee connoisseur. The presentation alone was amazing and worth the trip here. If we ever come back to the area, I will absolutely be back.”

“Not just a summer place!!! If you love perch…. go here now!! The food was delicious. I ordered the perch which came with any side, no up charges for things like onion rings. I chose vegetables for my side which turned out to be broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. But the nice surprise was that they were grilled, not just steamed. Very tasty! Our meals also came with a nice salad bar and a choice of two homemade soups. My husband ordered the “all-you-can-eat fish.” His was pollock and also delicious.
Our service was also great.”

“Took a field trip to Mussell Beach with approximately 30 kids. We took the kids orders that morning in hopes to ease things up for the staff. The service was top notch when we arrived. They were quick and were even helpful in assisting us pass out the ice creams to the kids, bringing them all out on a big tray to hand out at once so kids were not waiting. I was impressed with how efficient they were and the workers were all so nice and helpful when we came! :)”

“I don't ever leave reviews but my dinner tonight (delivery) from Roma's was absolutely delicious! I had a craving for fried chicken and they surpassed my expectations. I received an entire half a chicken and it was hot, juicy, and their breading is really tasty and just the right amount. The Sophia Lorens' we got were packed with toppings and a very generous amount of cheese. I could tell while on the phone that they were slammed (6pm on a Saturday) but our food was on time and piping hot. The delivery driver was very pleasant. Highly recommend!!”

“We came here Saturday after the lions game to grab a late bite to eat. They was serving food til midnight 😅 most of the other bars around stopped serving at 10 so that was a huge plus. The the burgers and wings is what we ordered I give them both a 10/10 we will definitely be back. We’ve gone here a few times to hang out and love the establishment, but never ate here til recently. If you want a great bar burger I definitely recommend coming here 💯 also great prices.”

“I’ve been to Tavern 101 several times. Service is always friendly & welcoming. Favorites are ranch buttered popcorn flatbread pizza, & the fried green beans. Just a little disappointed that they now charge for the refills on the popcorn, especially when service is slow. Tried the hibachi bowl, very unusual flavor, not sure I’ll order that again. Overall, great place to eat & drink!”

I got the Smoked Pork Sweet Potato Hash for breakfast and it was truly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Packed with flavor and so so tasty. Wish I took a picture because it was plated wonderfully as well!

The staff was so kind and friendly - Eric was attentive, gave good recommendations, and was just overall a really pleasant person to interact with at 7am.

“This has become a more regular stop for me. I have had subs from multiple places and even though subway was pretty decent until I finally went here. These subs are worth the price EVERY time. Their side of pasta is amazing as well. I love their Tuna Salad and Turkey/Bacon Subs and order them consistently. Would recommend this over almost any sub in the area.

“Ok here is the deal....It is a typical little Ceasars...which means good food fair price. However I really think they could do better. Especially on taking orders. They always seem distracted when on phone, and you have to yell so they can hear and understand. That being said I received the wrong pizza, ordered deep dish thick crust....I received a stuffed. This happens about 15% of the time while ordering here. And it is totally a phone issue. Doesn't happen when we order and wait.”

“We’re on a girls trip from Ohio. Went through the drive thru to keep moving fast. They were slammed! The guy who helped us was named Cory. He was exceptionally friendly and positive. We sat outside to eat and listened to him greet every single car pleasantly and happily. Awesome attitude Cory! I own a restaurant and employees who stay positive even during the slammed times are diamonds in the rough. Keep it up with yo bad ass!”

“On a recent trip to Bay City we found a gem. Suzie Qs Breakfast Nook stood out from the neighborhood surrounding it. A stop inside yielded a atmosphere adorned with Coca Cola memorabilia. I chose the Sampler off the breakfast menu. The food came hot, fresh and delicious. Her homemade blackberry jam was a compliment to the conversation with Suzie Q, her daughter, and grandson. The servings were great and it took sometime, but I eventually cleared the plate. I do not live near to Bay City, but I pledge to return to her restaurant. Having said that, I highly recommend stopping in for a bite!”
