“We've been going here a lot lately because it's awesome!! The decor is cozy and comfortable like a log cabin. The service is spot on and the food is delicious!! As we've gone here quite a bit, we've sampled a good portion of their menu and I can honestly say that everything we've had has been great!! And it appears to not be a secret because it's always busy!! Just a great place to be!!“

“I am a foodie but sometimes I like the basics- This was the BEST BURGER I have ever had. The bun , crispy on the outside yet buttery and soft inside. Aioli / seasoning topped on a med well done beef patty ( probably house made) and creamy cheese. If I could have one burger - from anywhere in the world this would be it.“

“Cute little place in downtown Pontiac. Loved the NY theme with the colorful lights. Excited to go back when it's warm out so we can check out the rooftop. Definitely enjoyed the music videos playing on all screens. Bartenders were extremely nice and attentive. Drinks and food were fairly priced. We loved the chickfilla sandwich. The toppings were fresh and the bun was super soft. Bang bang sauce was perfectly spicy. The famous bowl poutine had a lot of cheese and gravy. The chicken was crunchy. The sandwich and regular size poutine was enough for 2.“

“My parents have been coming here for years so that should attest for something. I personally have never gone here on my own just strictly with my parents. Not that I'm opposed to that, it just seems more of a family type establishment rather than a date night destination. The atmosphere is casual, like a step above a Rams horn and the menu has a pretty wide range of options to fit varying tastes. The service is always good as it is a family owned business I assume the staff is expected to meet a certain criteria since it is a family's reputation at stake. The meals are prepared with a homestyle feel with nice sized portions. My daughter is a big fan of shrimp scampi and unfortunately she had to send it back last night as she said it had a soap taste. I expect this is a one off since we have dined here several times without incident and felt inclined not to mention it in this review but for the sake of transparency I decided to. This definitely would not cause hesitation on my part to return and I still completely recommend. On the other hand, my wife said it was the second best lamb shank she's ever had, the first being a $100 meal in Los Angeles so take that into consideration. Prices are reasonable and and there's good reason they have been in business 3 generation's.“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “Mia is incredible. We have done birthdays at Mia’s for the last 3 years. The Halloween party and Karaoke nights are so much fun. It’s great to see everyone so involved and happy. We love the food and drinks! She helped us set up for the parties we’ve had and the staff always makes sure the bellies are full and the drinks are flowing. It’s impossible to not have a good time here. We’ve had breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner and it never disappoints.“

“The fish & chips is excellent. Possibly the best I've ever had. The blackened Mango Mahi is also very good. I haven't had anything else but I'd bet you probably couldn't get a bad meal at this place. The only thing I don't like is the inside dining room is small and usually VERY noisy. The dining room under the tent is always chilly in the fall and winter. Every server is always attentive, professional, and hospitable.“

The food and drink combined with reserving a table can make the experience slightly pricey, but if you factor in the gaming options, it makes the price feel far more worth it!I love their fries, their specialty drinks, and most of the food I've tried, but there's just one food item I wouldn't recommend. I've ordered their 4 square personal pizza a number of times, and almost every time, it has come out burnt enough that it no longer tastes very good to me. “Excellent bar and Grill! Many of us go here after rollerskating at the nearby Rolladium roller rink. They serve food late, which is great because we’re hungry when we arrive! “An absolute staple. Renshaw is easily my favorite bar around. Their food is as good as "bar food" gets, and you truly just cannot beat a $2.50 beer. Add pull tabs AND TouchTunes? I'm in heaven. Couldn't recommend this enough. Service has always been above average, even when going with an entire softball team after our games.“

“Went after work on a Thursday night. Place was pretty busy but they sat us right away anyhow. I ordered the potato soup which was super yummy, I ended up saving it so I could bring it home. It was nice music. They also did a raffle! The service was fast. The place was packed. I kept ordering the grapefruit basil martini aka the duchess. It was really good. The staff was polite and useful. They had great wings also. I'll be back to try those loaded waffle fries one day lol.“

“Stopped here while staying at a hotel nearby. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait but ended up getting seated in less than five minutes. (On a busy Saturday night). The host and waiter were extremely pleasant! Me and my guest had buffalo boneless wings, and the chicken tacos. Both were delicious! We also had a couple cocktails, which were also crafted perfectly! Overall, it was a great experience; one that I would definitely enjoy again!“

“The food here is better than we could have ever imagined. It has become a food staple in our family with the great deals it makes for an affordable and delicious dinner! We love the hot pretzel appetizers and the large burgers that are very generously portioned. We have been here multiple times and have never had something that we didn’t like! All of their food was kept at a manageable price range -and not to mention that all of there food is portioned to feed at least a few. The beverages were reasonably priced and fantastic tasting. We highly recommend the city grill and bar to you and your family.Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: my kids love it here they have great food and my kids are pretty picky they love there food and the variety that is given. There is endless options of all my kids favorites (burger, quesadillas, etc) they are very flexible when it comes to making slight changes my children will request for no onions and it will come out as wanted. I highly recommend and will strongly suggest this to you and your children!“

“Underrated joint easily accessible from Dixie. Decent food (they have more than bar food) good service, big place with plenty of seating. Has a sort of mixed family/bar vibe, which is a bit odd, OverTyme isn't quite sure if their customer is a 65 year old bar fly or a 12 year old playing arcade games. “I went to the one in Troy, for over a decade. Re: Rochester, I had some extraordinary chicken fajitas, pizza's is decent, pastas is okay, but more importantly, it's a rare place in Oakland county where you can have a variety of dishes and they're all pretty much down the pipe. Burgers are extremely good, and the staff is friendly with lots of smiles and good eye candy (cute staff), lots of TV's, and the lights aren't obnoxious, what more do you want?“

“J’s is our favorite go-to spot. The staff are truly awesome - so kind and go out of their way for customers, especially Jake who we cannot say enough nice things about. Food is always excellent, far far above & beyond typical bar food - love everything from their dill pickle pizza to wings to salads to delicious chicken tenders. Take-out pizza is also a great option. And drinks are consistently flowing. Great place to watch games or just hang out on any given night. Proud to call this place our fave neighborhood haunt!!“

“I've passed by this place so many times but went in last weekend and it was nice. Third is my father-in-law's favorite spot Low-key. The people were friendly and they have music playing. They have a back room with pool and you can see the the pool table on the screen in the front. Juke box is there and some people were choosing songs (it was an "Earth with and fire" type of crowd, if you know what I mean). It was a Sunday and the crowd was kind of older, but chill.“
