My search for that authentic experience ended today. My go to meals are the loaded fries and I add chili ? or breakfast meals .Edited review: my family usually comes in almost every weekend on Saturday but Google never asked me for an update so I decided to do one myself. I absolutely love it here. The food is so good and I love the customer service as well. I can honestly say I have been coming here for decades. Since I've worked at the Walgreens next door and the Easter seals clinic. Anyways back to Stackerz... So I ordered the chicken wings ? ? and waffle this time. I was not disappointed . “Best store, friendly staff! Way better than Canton, MI store. Last year Canton,MI Store sold Burnt hams. We bought 2 hams. We returned twice, only to receive 2 more burnt hams. Manager was so completely unprofessional. She said, that was the way the hams were sent to them.Funny, we ended up going to the Livonia Store. Not only did we get 2 beautiful hams but the best customer service. Kudos to the Livonia Store for helping keep our faith in Honey Baked Ham Company! You will forever get our business now. “Used a lunch and learn grubhub gift card to get a smoked turkey sandwich here. The turkey was great and the prices are super reasonable! (I don't recommend using grubhub though, just order for pick up and use the savings to give them a good tip)“
“Sooooooo good. So good. In 4 visits I have had 4 different sandwiches, each of them superb. No favorite, but the Dagwood is a must try for anyone walking in. Service is always prompt and professional. Keep in mind these are hand made sammys, and they are popular, so a few minute wait is likely. Well worth it!Also, I gave the atmosphere a 3 only because its a bit small and I havent really spent a ton of time in there. Its clean and energetic!Parking: This entire plaza gets busy. Check the Google Maps hours graph to see when its at its peak. I say this because the parking there is a bit chaotic at times, but usually has spots near the door or less than a half block on the street or other corner of the lot.Kid-friendliness: Ive seen kids in there on a couple occasions. Actually, she provided service on several different occasions that I went into the Greenfield location and should be given a raise for such good Customer Service, because it is rare to find great help in this industry. “You will enjoy ANY sandwich you order at this place. It’s the true O.G. (Original Gonella’s) and they are ALL good. I work nearby and have been going here for years. I’m almost done with my goal of trying every sandwich they make and so far the chicken salad, tuna salad, and the grilled steak and cheese are a close 2nd behind my “go to” which is the classic “6 & 2 on a soft roll”. “My first time visiting and the food was good. We got food, drinks and a dessert to go. I had a chicken sub sandwich (kind of like a Philly sandwich). I took the onions off and had cheese, chicken, and barbecue sauce added. It was good, so was the lemonade and the carrot cake. “So, thinking about all of the places I have yelped about, this one is likely the oldest established place. I have had these sandwiches all of my life. I stopped in last night for a "Slurp" (corned beef, Swiss, and Cole slaw on an onion roll with Russian dressing). I also ordered onion rings and Kool-Aid. All yummy. The battered onion rings were crisp. I envisioned the "Kool-Aid Man" as I sipped, just like I did as a child. The sandwiches are consistently good and are the same as I remember from childhood. I'm happy that the area has been refreshed. The deli has a new modern build out, so pay no mind to the "hole in the wall" reviews. It's certainly not that. Check out my pics. There are a variety of deli sandwiches, snacks, chips, desserts, and drinks available. Prices are far more reasonable than other nearby delis. The walk-in carry-out is on a corner. There is plenty of street parking. The cashier shared with me that the location has been deemed "historic." I love that for the deli's original owner and the community.“

“Christmas isn't Christmas in our family without Honey Baked Ham! Beware of imposters! I'm not even a big fan of ham but I forget that when Christmas rolls around. The crust is the best part and I could probably forgo the ham and just eat the crust! Our family also gets the smoked turkey breast every year. It's just as amazing as the ham. If you've been there during the holidays you know how long the line can be but after all these years it doesn't even matter. It's worth it. You can call ahead and reserve the size you need. It's a good idea because they run out of the smaller sizes quickly and you could easily end up with a huge ham.“
