“We visited about an hour before close on Saturday night, and the place was full of smiling people. The staff seemed rather busy hanging out with the patrons, which is just fine. The vibe of the place was very neighborhood Restaurant, and soon enough the staff noticed us and got us seated. We got the peanut butter and jelly burger, which the staff seemed a little bit weirded out by, but it was really good. The fries were also fantastic, but for $3.40, there should have been quite a bit more of them. The pizza was absolutely loaded, crispy, and full of fresh ingredients. We definitely enjoyed that as well. They have a pretty extensive beer menu, but it's on a very small screen that moves way too fast to really see. It would have been nice to have a printout or something so that we didn't feel like we were struggling to see what was available. All in all, if I were in the area again, I would probably make my way back, especially if they stop being so stingy with the fries.“

“I just had the lasagna and my wife had the blue gill. Lasagna was the best I’ve had. It was awesome. The blue gill was amazing. Tuesday means $3 margaritas. Last week i had the blue gill and shrimp sandwich. It was awesome also. I can’t decide what to try next.“
“The Pub is a hometown favorite! Thomas and crew have been doing allot with the place l. You want a good bar food and drinks this is the spot to go. Their boneless bbq wings and spicy cheese balls my all time favorite. They even do salads for those wanting a healthier option fyi they are BIG!! The staff is amazing and even when it's packed busy and full they make sure that you are taken care of. It's a go to for a Friday night dinner with friends or a Pub lunch is always a good time.“
“Ok, this isn't gorurmet and it isn't a "classy" joint. It's a dive bar in the middle of a small community that has a "reputation"...but as far as dive bars go, it's a good one. The food is good and the drinks are cheap. The service is friendly and nobody seems to care what you look like...as long as you don't come in looking like a hipster or a yuppie I asked for a Michigan made beer and I got looked at like I was from Mars....but they have what you need. You're at a place that has tried to rename itself so it can distance itself from it's questionable past...but all the locals still call it The Orangeville Tavern. There's more than one Confederate flag in the immediate vicinity....we are squarely in the North, so you get what I mean. This isn't a fancy place...not in the slightest, but it's like a step back to a time where you didn't drink something because it was interesting...you drank it because you liked it....and you didn't eat the food because it was "farm to table" or "vegan/gluten free" ...you ate it because it was on the menu and you wanted to eat it. This is not a bar for people that are trying to change the world, this is a bar for people who remember how the world got where it is..this is a bar for people who built America and are still doing the job. This is a bar for "Real Americans"...with dirty cars, worn out work boots, and calloused hands. This bar is the neighborhood living room....and I am looking forward to coming back home in the near future.“

“Excellent service and food.We had the pulled pork and the Cubano dishes.It was chilly in the restaurant but understandable with only 8 people in the restaurant.Not sure why this place isn't busier during the off season but we will be going back.“
“Loved this little restaurant at Bay Pointe Inn and on Gun Lake. We stayed at the hotel, and had an early dinner. Because we were early, we were able to take advantage of the happy hour for drinks, and the live music started at 5 pm. We started our meal with the cheese curds appetizer. They also served warm bread with butter and oil for dipping. My husband, and I both chose dishes from the special menu. I had the grilled meatloaf with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. This was the best meatloaf I've ever had. It had a balsamic ketchup glaze, caramelized onions, and goat cheese. The menu also said it had a Guinness and white cheddar bacon cheese sauce, but I did not notice that on my dish. The meatloaf was made with beef and pork, which kept it tender, but the edges were crispy from the grill. The blue cheese cut through the sweetness of the glaze and onions perfectly. The red skin mashed potatoes were creamy, and the corn was buttery. My husband had the Pollack fish fry. He enjoyed the light and crispy batter. The jalapeno lime coleslaw was unique and flavorful. He also loved the house made tarter sauce. The service was great, and the views of the lake were incredible.“

“This is the place if you happen to be in Delton. It's all locals. It's got a broad range of food, not just greasy spoon. The walleye for example is a great meal with rice and veggies. Get a burger, chicken and waffles, large selection of mixed drinks, servers with attitude and Delton charm.“
