My fiancee and I stopped by for breakfast while we were in town, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while.I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which I assumed would be a standard steak cooked on the stovetop with a side of eggs. However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! The eggs and bacon on the side were cooked perfectly, and we also ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries on the side which was equally delicious.We're already looking forward to our next visit to Public House!“

“Went with a few people on a Saturday evening for dinner. The food was awesome. Tried the bruschetta, Pierogies for appetizers. Was really good. I had the fried chicken sandwich. I have to say it was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I had a Manhattan and it was on point. Very good. It was really crowded. I guess that’s a testament to how good it is. The service was good considering how busy it was. I would recommend to try this place out.Parking: There’s a parking lot on the premises. Seems to be plenty of parking. And seems secure.“

“This is a very unique restaurant. The menu is very robust I don't know what to say other than the shrimp, oh my God the shrimp. The shrimp here were better than any seafood place that I can think of. I will come back here just to get the shrimp. Now that I am off of my shrimp boat I will say the nachos were quite tasty the Reuben was also very good. The carrot cake was alright. The restaurant itself is pretty nice however everybody is packed in there pretty good. Will be returning some day.“

However there was a shrieking kid behind us and I wasn't aware that children were allowed in the bar. The evening would have been more pleasant without him. “We travel from Illinois and Indiana 3 times a year to fish lake Erie. We eat at the Oregon Inn every night as their food ( especially the prime rib) is the best. Anita the owner treats all her guests like family, and the staff is amazing. One year we knew the weather would probably cancel our fishing, but we decided to drive the 4 hours anyway just to eat at the Inn. It's that good!!“

“Pete's garage has been a fixture in Monroe for some time. The food is good. The restaurant can get very busy on the weekend depending on what's going on in town. The staff is friendly and will take care of you, but plan on oh wait on the weekend because it's very popular. The atmosphere is different but good for families. The menu has many options, however, I feel it could use some newer dishes. Everyone will find something to eat on their menu. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a shot.“

“Reservation was a breeze on a Saturday night, though they were packed. Promptly seated, server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had bread for starters, lobster bisque and french onion soup. Of course we gotta try the steaks.. we ordered three 16 oz ribeye steaks cooked to medium rare perfection, well seasoned with onions and mushrooms on the side. NY strip steak was tender as well.. The Chilean Sea Bass was delish! The meals were satisfying and filling we didn't have room for crème brûlée.. perhaps next time. Happy tummy once again!“

The sandwiches are huge and each of them comes with fries. The chili sauce is meh but I'm from Detroit so I could definitely be bias. They never answer the phone but the service is quick even if you want in and place your order.“
