“We had breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning. The wait time was decent and the food was pretty good. The wait staff was very good as well. I loved the cinnamon roll. I can’t say I would go back due to how dirty and dingy it was, the place really needs a deep clean and maybe some new flooring or a steaming. I’m a maybe on returning.“
“Fantastic place. Best value for sure. Yeah there's Anna's House and the Morning Belle but if you want debatably better quality without breaking the bank and a heck of a lot less of that "packed like sardines" feeling, this is for sure the place to go.Parking: Parking is behind the building, plenty of parking there normally“
“I was working in the area and decided to stop here for breakfast. Service was great and the food was even better. I ordered steak and eggs and the steak was very good and cooked perfectly to my liking.I definitely recommend this place and will go back.“
“I have loved new beginnings for a long time. However, one thing that I have noticed is a lot of times my Greek omelette ends up a little bit greasy after a time of setting for a few. This omelette was done so perfectly that there was no grease or water residue at all. My compliments to the chef. And as always the service was excellent.“
“Great service. Great food. Coffee is amazing. We always get the French press and every time it's delicious . Food is always fresh and never changes. The sourdough bread has the best flavor. Only place my husband will order biscuits and gravy. My daughter started getting the kids grilled cheese and adds ham and she loves it. I was asked to update my review and no change this place is good every time.“
“I ordered the Horchata French Toast with scrambled eggs and it was delicious. I was a little intimidated by the means of ordering, scanning the menu with my phone and ordering on line but it turned out to be simple. My technology skills are very limited, but after I ordered someone came in and ordered off the menu at the counter, so I also had that option. Service was fast and friendly, food was great, definitely worth checking out.“
“Great food at a decent price but the service can be a tad inconsistent. Usually good to great service but I've noticed that things fall through the cracks when they get slammed. Nevertheless, Westsider is still one of my favorite breakfast spots in Grand Rapids. Plenty of vegetarian options which is always a plus!“
“Stopped on my way through Grand Rapids. I own a coffee shop so I asked for something that I couldn't get anywhere else. Had the recommended French Vietnamese Au Lait and a cinnamon scone. The scone was a little crumbly, but buttery and dense. The Vietnamese Au Lait was not overly sweet, but rather had the right amount of bite. What a beautiful dessert case. Definitely. Will make this a stop on future trips north.“
“The Chicken sausage tater tot casserole and the BLT w cheese were both amazing! I also tried the iced con meil to drink, FABULOUS!!! You should try it! The service was incredible too! Alondra was our server and we would request her again. We also had a visit from Manager Charlotte, she was fun and funny and very engaging! Top notch breakfast this morning from the time we walked in until the time we walked out! Thank you!!!“

“I was looking for a breakfast place on Google Maps around this area and this looked worthy of giving it a shot. Mom ordered a half order of the biscuits and gravy w/ a side of hash browns and I ordered a custom omelette with hash browns, onion, ham, and cheese. Food came out hot and fast! Ginormous fluffy omelette, asked the waitress and she said it's made with SIX eggs! No wonder there's a note in the menu for splitting plates with your s/o Very tasty. My only note is that the onions were a bit crunchy yet and a little strong in flavor- I liked them, but I know not everyone does. I tried a little bit of the gravy and it was also very tasty. Mom said she knows good biscuits and gravy, and agreed that these were delicious. She also ordered hot tea and was able to take the rest to go. Although the interior looked like it hadn't been updated since 1981 when the establishment became the "Home of The Big Breakfast" as noted on the menu, it was very neat and tidy and clean inside the restaurant. Just need a laminator for their menus.“
“Had breakfast with my son there last week and the server was the only one on. She was doing an amazing job keeping up for being as busy as she was. We were promptly greeted by a male helping her out. He also took our drink orders. He was so kind he even brought over a quarter for my son to use the vending machine after his meal. It was a sweet gesture. All around great experience that made our day. Thank you“
“Yolanda (Yo-Yo) was cordial and respectful. We love this place for breakfast or an occasional sandwich selection. We’re treated like family.Parking: Number of handicapped parking spaces. Could use more, but much of the parking allows for vehicles using ramps.Wheelchair accessibility: Great for those in wheelchairs, but requires an attendant or server to help.“
“Had a wonderful experience celebrating a dear friend's Birthday. Will definitely go back for another special occasion. Only challenge was using stairs to get to bathroom. A conventional was on break, and another party going on made it difficult to navigate through to restroom.“
“Absolutely Amazing bagels. Delicious! Easy to order online, however … My only suggestion for this business is to allow people to order over the phone and pay once they *arrive* in person, just like all the other restaurants in this neighborhood. I’ve been in this neighborhood for 30 years and that is my only real bother with this place is that they don’t even give you the option to do that, they demand payment ahead of time (which I’ve never experienced from a single other restaurant in eastown). It would be great for other working people in Eastown to be able to call their order in and pay when picking up, which is a standard everywhere else. It’s just the principle of the matter.“
“Hi, my name is Ireland. This morning my Husband & I decided to stop in at Sundance & have some breakfast. This was our second time at Sundance & our first time trying their breakfast. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable & the atmosphere was just as friendly as we remembered it to be. A big cheers to our server Rayne. What a doll she is. The highlight of our experience was the conversation & humor that Rayne brought. It really cheered us up, as we our dealing with the death of our beloved cat COCO. We definitely recommended this spot.“
“The food is phenomenal and the milk tea Boba that I got was affordable and delicious. My only complaint is that the dumplings we ordered were very well done, borderline burnt. Would reccomend a visit! I would also suggest that if you have a food allergy you double check with the staff in regards to what's in each dish.“
