We were going to the casino for a show so we decided to take a walk and found Eastwoods and I’m glad we did. “My girlfriend and I were in town for a concert this weekend and stopped in for brunch before heading home. We wanted to visit another spot but they had a a near two hour wait and after driving around, we found Grand Trunk Pub. Thankfully they had people dining on an outside patio area they created because we probably wouldn't have noticed. We sat on the patio and I have to admit, I'd never done that in the City of Detroit. It was a great day for it too. The food was really good. I got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. It was ok and probably not something I'd get again (I'm picky about my chorizo.) but looking at their menu there were lots of good sounding options. My girlfriend got the Chicken and Waffles and we got the Reuben wantons. We loved them! And the Bloody Mary she ordered was insane! I'm still floored that it had a mini grilled cheese on it and a strip of thick cut bacon with it. As usual, parking is always a PITA in Detroit but if you're looking for a place, give them a shot.“

“What a fun lively place to be!Theres close seating for large groups. Plenty of beers on tap. Good ones at that. And the food is delicious. It was a bit of a hassle to wait in line to order food and drinks since there was a central point for ordering. But everyone was very nice and food/ drinks came quickly to our tables.My group had the mediterranean pizza, nachos, and curry chips (addictive). I also got the beer flight to sample their selection and refilled a full glass of a particular stout i found to be delightful within my flight!Would love to come here again after work to relax if i'm back in the area.“

“what a blast! visited because i saw on channel 4's tasty tuesday, the music trivia bingo and karaoke was very entertaining!!! the entertainment came in very handy because it was super busy due to the tv plug. my waitress Rebecca was super sweet, and did a wonderful job especially considering it was her first day!!! food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait, my friend got the shrimp n grits-said it was the best she has ever had! i got the half chicken which was cooked perfectly! we also got mac n cheez, garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, and the chicken wings for an app. everything was so good, we left fat and happy and i will return soon!!!“
