“This place does not disappoint The chicken breasts and wings are good size and not skimpy pieces. Broasted potatoes are not flat cut but have ridges or waves. Coleslaw is very good too. Definitely repeat takeout customers. Keep up the great job.“

“This is my first time having their food I actually stopped in for gas and it was a spur of the moment thing. They have amazingly tender juicy chicken wings & fresh crunchy fries tasty fries i got a 4 PC meal I dont know what that white seasoning was that they sprinkle on it but it definitely was not salt it was tangy and tasty I seriously could not stop licking my fingers. “This is the first time I tried Flings, and I tried it because I read people's reviews on Facebook. I must say it was very good, everything was fresh, the staff was very friendly. The food tasted great, the chicken was not greasy at all and I absolutely love their barbecue sauce with their potatoes. Definitely will go back and will recommend it to others.“
“One of the best places in Detroit to get all your meat and poultry. It’s right across from Eastern Market and there is free parking lot within 50 yards. The selection and quality of food are great. If you have questions and want to pursue the selection, avoid going on Saturdays because they are really busy!“
“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“Visited for the first time for lunch. I ordered a 6 piece of the whole wings, Mac and cheese, and the Smokehouse Chicken sandwich combo. Trying to taste a few different things. The wings really blew me away. Most places that sell whole wings, you get something that's mini sized, but these wings were massive. These were bigger than the ones I buy from the meat section in Kroger to make at home. They were juicy, crispy, and very flavorful. I didn't get any sauce, but honestly I wasn't mad about it. For the price, those were definitely so worth it. They were made fresh as well. The Mac and cheese was good. Had a nice seasoning to it and it was very creamy. The sandwich, I was thinking would be a little crispier, but it was still pretty good. Everything was fresh and hot. Those wings though were the shining moment for me. The service was very good and quick.It's located within a gas station/truck stop, but don't let that stop you from going there. The place is pretty clean and there is a lot of room for dining in. This place is located on 10 mile in Roseville between Gratiot and 94.“
“First time trying this place as I was on my way to Belle Isle and I absolutely loved it! The fried chicken tenders were perfectly seasoned along w the lemon pepper on the side. The potato wedges were crispy & soft on the inside, and the honey biscuits, fried fish & coleslaw were also so good. This place is underrated especially for being inside a gas station. Food was served piping hot, just how I like it. I'll definitely be back, thanks!“

“I’m a person who loves to read reviews especially when I’m going somewhere for the first time! After reading the bad reviews about their food and customer service; I was very hesitant to order at this restaurant.When I walked in to place my order; the woman behind the counter (Renée) greeted me with a smile and was so kind & patient with me (considering I was indecisive about what to order). I eventually ordered the chicken (legs & thighs), catfish & fried mushrooms. Everything I ordered tasted great and the kids & I was surprisingly satisfied. I will be going back to try the spaghetti & some other items on the menu ❤️“
“Um... this place deserves 10 stars! Best chicken we've had. We ordered 24 whole wings and 28 tenders with multiple sides. We were their last order of the night minutes before close and still the best food service we've ever experienced. I am a district manager for a food service business, so I nit pick at everything... I can not say anything negative about this place. I will be telling everyone I know that this is a must try.“
“I stopped into Chicken Shack to try their battered chicken sandwich, only. I added spicy Mayo and pickles. They have a $5 special at this time. The sandwich is delicious & the bun is fresh. It hit the spot. The cashier was friendly and efficient. I have 1 suggestion. Please clean the entrance/exit glass door. The number of fingerprints on it made me reluctant to touch it at all. Germs are nothing to play with in this era.“
