Now I own a great historic tavern in Marquette, Mi called Remies. 4th generation in the business, I believe the Candlelight and Remies are very similar, I would love to go back someday. God bless both places, and all the great times they have provided.”

“Food is great here. I'm not the biggest chicken eater but I go here just for their wings. Half of the hype is the sauce, it's great! The mood of the restaurant is very mixed. You can sit at tables and chill with your group or sit at the bar and have fun with total strangers. A few tvs will even have the game on if you want to watch. The staff are usually always attentive. The only con is that you will get annoyed by the occasional gnat as with lots of bars.”

“I'm commenting on the Kroger at Old Eight Mile Road and Harper Avenue in Harper Woods. It's a relatively small store compared with other Kroger stores within a two mile radius. It does have everything necessary for a family to get through a week of meals. Someone who hasn't shopped a Kroger Super Store probably will not notice the store's smaller set list. I and my family do buy Kroger branded items, and Private Selection brands a great deal. Decent amount of choices at the deli and fish counter. More than enough fresh cut beef chicken and pork in the meat cases. And the vendor packaged lunch and dinner racks are always nicely stocked. Produce department has always gotten employee attention anytime I visit so I buy with confidence here. All the coolers in the store have been updated within the past 15 months or so. Won't comment on the grocery aisles; seem typical to me.”

“Kenya is an awesome sub artist her attention and smile makes it easily the best place to get a sub. She is kind and always smiling while she's doing her job. Kenya deserves an award for how she handles situations I've been coming to this subway for years and shes phenomenal with her customer service.”

“I used an online coupon so the price was acceptable. I waited in my car until the link said my order was ready . I went inside but my order was not in the pickup area. One employee was handing out orders at the drive up window. After a few minutes he turned and said "just a minute." A couple of minutes later he found my order and handed it to me. Really not a bad experience just took a little longer than I expected.”

“Had the absolute best experience. I've frequented a few Michelin star restaurants and the Highlands definitely deserves one! Took my boyfriend for his birthday, and we both got different courses so combined we tried 6 dishes - the bread and butter is superb, loved the prawns, tuna crudo is fantastic, NY strip cooked to perfection. “Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.”

“Having been to Le Supréme multiple times in the last month (I've now had; brunch, and dinner service) I can say it's easily one of my favorite spots. My first time walking in the space I was amazed at all the attention to detail. It's an impeccably Parisian bistro with dark hardwood, and cosy booths. Servers float through the dining room in white shirts and ties, they're friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging.The food leaves nothing lacking, from perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise at brunch to the punchy yet creamy Filet au Poivre. Something as simple and classic as Bistro-fare isn't as simple to execute so perfectly each time and yet here we are. For those looking for a real showstopper do not miss the seafood tower! With food like this, and a really well curated wine glass and bottle list, I'm going to be coming back as often as I can!”

“Service and ambiance were first class. Caesar salad prepared table side and Parmesan Mushroom Risotto were exceptional. Both Steaks was very salty and a little tough for a ribeye prepared medium. One steak was sent back because it was closer to well done after sitting on the hot plate. Will try again in the future and ask for light seasoning and for them to leave my steak unsliced to avoid it over cooking the interior on the hot plate its served on.”

“Excellent restaurant they pay attention to detail. They are very aware of food allergies which I have a tree nut allergy and they made that very clear at the beginning and even brought out a sheet with all the ingredients and circled what dishes had tree nuts. I ordered the sirloin steak grass fed, unbelievable also had the appetizer mushroom spring roll so much flavor and taste in every bite they really use quality ingredients and very little salt. It’s hard to find restaurants that use low sodium these days. I would highly recommend eating here. The portions are a little small I will say but the quality ingredients and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend any family and friends!”

“Beautiful restaurant…softly lit interior with rustic brick walls…perfect for a date night! l ordered their “Ragout Alla Bolognese” and house-made bread. The bolognese was pretty good, only because it too “porky” for ME! However, the bread…oh my god. So fresh, warm, flavorful (topped with herbs), and fluffy!! Reminded me of focaccia, so delicious. Our waitress was a sweetheart as well!”

I was later approached bye a young lady and was told we had to spend at least 200 dollars for drinks and we were only at 80 dollars! Then I was told! She thought we booked online! “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”
