“We stopped for the first time after church to see why it was called Manhattan FISH and chicken. I remember having fried fish in New York and the memory lingers. My husband is from Louisiana and so I ordered both the cod and the catfish. Both delicious and my husband said it was the best he had tasted in a long time. Macaroni and cheese and the coleslaw were a nice addition to our Sunday dinner. We were wished a pleasant day and they said "see you next time" .... there will definitely be a next time.”

“Visited Biscuits and Bourbon on Saturday, September 21. The environment inside AND outside the restaurant was very clean!

We were warmly greeting and offered various beverages before placing our order!! We ordered salmon with cheese grits (....you need this in your life), and a fluffy cheese omelet with home fries along with a side of chicken bites in a sweet, kicky Bourbon sauce.

Everything was beautifully plated and simply delicious. We will return soon!”

“I'm from upstate NY and was in the area for work training, looking for a good lunch spot. Within 2 steps in the front door, I knew I was in the right place. It was very clear that this is where the neighborhood locals eat. My coworker and I were quickly greeted by one of their great employees and our order was taken at lightning ⚡ speed. I've been here now on 4 different occasions with months in between and every time, I swear it's the best damn bacon cheeseburger I've ever had every single time. Not to mention the addictive and delicious mountain of fries served with it. I wouldn't change a thing about this place, and I make sure to stop if I'm ever in the area!
Sidenote - I won't even tell anybody at my training the name of it or where it is because I don't want my favorite lunch spot to get too blown up. IYKYK??”

“I have been going to Bob's Super Chief since the 70s when it was on Telegraph at Dixie Highway. Best footlong coneys I've ever had. Their Tandem is the best. Will be making a 3 hour trip again soon.”

“Came in here after a long day of work. George, the mastermind of a cook, recommended a jalapeño burger. I'm a finicky cook myself so agreed to try it. It was honestly the best burger I've had in years! I highly recommend it. Service was amazing to top it all off.”

“I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went there. Gridiron is your typical neighborhood dive bar with lots of friendly regulars and a charismatic owner. It reminds me of Cheers ( the old sit com). The drinks are inexpensive and generous. A vodka and cranberry was only $3.00, and the bottle of Budwiser was $2.75 . I got a 1/2 pound cheese burger with everything on it for$6.75. I couldn't believe the prices. I would definitely recommend it and have told all my friends about it.

It was excellent! They use delicious, high quality BBQ sauce and superior quality toppings.
The crust had an excellent crust too (we choose plain but they have some flavored crust options too.). Great bacon!!

Will be back again - regularly. Very happy with the pizza.”

“Had not been here for a salad in a long time. Their Chef Salad was just as good or better than I remembered. Lots of fresh tasty vegetables, meats cheese. Freshly baked Pita Bread and Salad Dressing was just right! Waitress was wonderful! Very helpful. Happy with the price and prompt service. Highly recommend!! “We had the pleasure of trying this taco truck when it recently visited our subdivision. We had to try a lot of the items and they were all tasty.Birria tacos were nice and cheesy, with tender meat. If you buy 3 you get free consome, but this dip wasn't our favorite, we definitely preferred their salsa instead.Speaking of their salsa, we asked for the hot and it was pleasantly warm, full of spice and flavor. One of the best salsas I've eaten in my life.Pork tamale was good, I can envision buying a half or full dozen.We had two traditional style Pastor and Barbarbacoa tacos that were both fulfilling our Mexican traditional taco craving.We had an asada torta which was our least favorite item because it was a soft texture throughout the whole sandwich. Wish there was a crispness or something they could modify. Just felt a bit mushy.In total, we will definitely have to check the truck out in its normal spot for tacos(traditional or birria) or tamales with that tasty hot salsa!”

“I'm on a fixed income, so "fast food" is only an occasional treat for me. I found out about Shawarma Spot through a friend, and it has become my favorite little take-out restaurant. Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!”

Only reason for average 4 star rating, the prices. Burgers on high side. Especially for food truck. BUT you can definitely taste the higher quality beef and they have a good selection of tasty burgers. So I was torn on giving 4 stars - but in the end, had to go with 4 for the prices and the food definitely stayed with 5 stars.

“Extremely large menu, almost too large. Family owned and portions are enormous. We had a large party and they accommodated us well, food came out fast. While the food wasn’t top notch, service was on point. Decor is a little dated, but plenty of parking and fast service trumped everything else.
