“I was a little disappointed that our latte did not come with the expected decoration, ingresar it was just plain foam, but the taste was really good tho. I think it depends on the barista. The fruit tart was good too. And they play French music which make it a really nice ambience. Cozy and nice interior.“

“Love Metzger’s! Authentic German cuisine and the Potato Pancakes are absolutely delicious! My husband grew up in a German Family in Ann Arbor and Metzgers was a very big part of his childhood, it’s great to share a memorable meal with him.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinology and had an incredible experience. Chef Nick's educational session on knife skills and knife sharpening was both informative and engaging. Not only did I leave with improved culinary knowledge, but I also gained insight into the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with a focus on sourcing proteins responsibly and operating on a no-waste platform. The food was outstanding, reflecting their dedication to quality and ethical practices. Vinology and Chef Nick have truly set a high standard for culinary excellence and environmental consciousness. Highly recommended for both food enthusiasts, wine-lovers, and eco-conscious diners alike! I cannot wait to see what else Chef Nick has in store for Vinology!-I apologize! I think that was an error. I have changed it :)“

“Spencer is the hidden gem of the Ann Arbor foody scene. I say hidden because I'm constantly amazed that Abby Olitzky, the chef, is not featured in every major food magazine and website out there. Great for us locals not to have people know our secret oasis of amazing and creative farm to table food-but still surprising. The wine is also well curated by Steve Hall who has been nominated multiple years for the James Beard Award for an outstanding wine shop. The menu changes every month, you can have lunch on Sat and Sun., and wine tastings are often on Wednesdays. Lots to love about this wonderful restaurant and wine shop!“

“First time at Taste tonight on a business related dinner. Lots of locals, awesome menu. Duck breast was Devine, huge cellar for this warm Ann Arbor local. I love places with interesting desert wines, they have a great selection.“

“We were in Ann Arbor for first time, about to see the Wolverines spring game. Staff member at hotel refer us to Anna's house for a good breakfast. It was a great breakfast, we had an amazing host/server, do it all person, named Anna. She was awesome, took care of my 3 boys and I. Food was great and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.“

“the decor was all Michigan wolverine theme and the menu and drinks had a lot of choices but everything was so delicious and it was real filling so it was a enjoyable experience thanks again Allison“
“We were staying at the graduate and stopped in for a nightcap and it was a great decision! We inquired about the Amari flight on the menu. The sampling offered three variations of the Italian liqueur but it was the knowledge Armando, the bar manager, shared that was truly amazing. He stopped by the table multiple times to ask us our thoughts and share tips on how to best enjoy the flight. After the tasting he made two amazing cocktails tailored to what we liked from amaro. Highly recommend - especially if you are lucky enough to have Armando as your bartender!“

“This atmosphere is practical, it's not done to flatter or create a mood. Nice bright and earthy colors. But this food is AMAZING!! Food is high quality, reasonably priced and so so so good! It's actually my favorite restaurant!! The fountain drinks are special too. I enjoy each flavor but my very favorite is the mandarin orange and cardamom. To eat healthy and treat yourself at the same time ! Well that just does not happen very often. But it has happened for me each time I visited...Vegetarian options: Just leave out the meat and or pick a meatless protien...like tofu , falafel or tuna...yummmDietary restrictions: You can have the me as l made to your liking.“

“My wife's burger was good and cooked medium well as ordered. The goulash special which is cheese rather than sour cream based was quite good as well. Our server, who has been at the Tavern for more than 20 years was very attentive and friendly. Quaint, comfortable atmosphere for a bar setting and the music isn't too loud. The homemade chips are tasty, but were room temperature rather than warm. Coffee was made fresh, but (in my opinion as a former restaurant manager) a bit weak, and should be served with half and half (you can by room temperature stable half and half) rather than artificial creamer. Overall it was a good experience and we will likely return in the future.“
