The BBQ sauce on the ribs is sweeter than you expect so take caution if you order the St. Louis rib mac & cheese - but do note if you mix it all up the cheese mellows the sweetness. Our server, Dani, was an absolute delight. Often she would have our drink refills before we even realized we were low. So if you’re hungry and on a whim, stop on by.“
“I got the 60/40 burger rare and chicken tenders with a hot dry rub, and it was cooked to my liking. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. “Don't play with them ok!! This gem was a great surprise that served up AMAZING food, OUTSTANDING service and a BEAUTIFUL color concept. We went for lunch and enjoyed every bit of it! Our server was Bobbie he was knowledgeable and had plenty of excellent suggestions for us. Oh and make sure you ask him to tell you a bad dad joke lol The food was plated beautifully and the flavor combos were refreshing and a total party in your mouth. We had the sweet potatoes to share then we each had an entree the Ivy burger and the BLT and finally we shared the brown butter cake. The sweet potatoes were yummy and the sauce went with it so well, burger was so moist it was dripping with juicy flavor after each bite, fries done to perfection ( I love a good fry especially one u can't eat naked without anything), the BLT had a garlic aioli that I loved and a fried green tomato sealed the deal and last but not least that brown butter cake with Marscapone cheese OMG it was sooooooooo good and all the flavors complimented each other. One of the owners Viorica stopped by the table after we were done to introduce herself and chat for a few. I thought that was super sweet!! “We stopped by randomly tonight for dinner. The food was excellent - the kale salad is to die for, the ahi tuna bites tasted so fresh and of course the burger was amazing. My 6 year old loved his kids meal (friend chicken bites). We shared mini donuts as well, which was the perfect dessert!The service was also 10/10. Our waitress was truly a wonderful, super efficient and gave great suggestions! Super impressed overall!“

“Omg this is a must do!!! They have an Italian Giglio feature right now that is just so awesome. We booked a reservation about a month out which you have to do as it books out quick! You do need to pay in advance which I don't love but also makes sense and makes it easier at the end of the night. We were in the upper part of the restaurant and we just had a blast. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is quick, witty and top notch plus they have events and small moments throughout the evening to make it fun. We did trivia during dinner but they also had music playing and interactive food stations. For this feature the mozzarella and cacio e Pepe from the cheese wheels are to die for. I wanted to eat just that for my entire meal! Highly highly recommend.“
“Had dinner at Kona Grill - Minnetonka last night and was pleasantly surprised by their late hours, open till midnight! They even offer a late-night happy hour. The sushi was decent, akin to what you'd expect from a mall location, as it's situated in Ridgedale Center. The service was top-notch - our server was both friendly and attentive. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the aquariums, adding a unique charm to the dining experience. A solid choice for a late evening out!“

“My expectations were probably too high walking in. The food was good, not as outstanding or as interesting as I would have thought. The grilled sea salt oyster on the way in was tasty. They brought us well prepared chicken, some sushi small bite, and other things I can't remember a month later that were enjoyable. The cake was dry and not worth the calories (or cost). The dietary restriction I indicated was missed but they were able to adjust in the moment. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs. We ate in the covered outdoor area at a shared table.“

“I love the food and the atmosphere at Yum! Everything is so delicious. My go-to is the tuna melt. Their homemade potato chips are so addictive. My daughter craves the Mac and cheese. Their nut goodly bar is the stuff of dreams. I did call them this week as I wanted to pick up a dessert for a dinner party where a couple of people keep kosher. None of the desserts are kosher which is a bummer. It hasn't diminished my love for the place but when I googled "kosher desserts" for Minneapolis, yum! came up.“

The sauce had a nice kick and was perfect for our liking! The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the flavors were unique and delicious. “I don’t think this place gets enough recognition after taking over the old Rock Elm. We come here about once or twice a month and always have a great experience. Food is always solid and reasonably priced. They also have a great kids menu, which is a bonus for us with a four year old. Easy enough to get a table on weekends and the staff, from the hostesses to the servers, are very friendly and attentive! Pizza is really good, along with their burgers, sandwiches, wings, fries and cheese curds. Paulie’s has become our new favorite family dinner spot in MG.“

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“

We have gotten the firecracker shrimp appetizer and are never let down! Very good, but the chicken pieces were pretty large and not as much shredded as expected. Service was great! Food was hot and came out fast. It was quiet and or back during this not peak time.“

As it was a birthday brunch for my wife, we found that they offer free French beignets for birthday celebrations. The atmosphere is very cool, restaurant extremely clean. Would recommend reserving online, without reservations we might've had a wait upon arriving. I will say they need to incorporate more blueberries in the blueberry pancakes - throwing a few berries over simple pancakes doesn't really make them "blueberry pancakes." Try to incorporate them for more flavor. I will highly recommend the hash browns with Gouda cheese - hands down the best hash browns I've ever tasted. “We went as a party of five on Easter Sunday. The staff were attentive and helped us with any of the issues. Why does this establishment have large tables set directly outside the bathrooms that look into each restroom as the door opens, and the smell of the bathroom wave out while you are eating? They tried to seat us at one of those and I asked for a different table, which they did accommodate as the server told us that the tables were already assigned and not sure that they could move us. For the quality of dining at a restaurant like Salut, I am aghast they would have tables within 6 feet of bathroom doors of which you can look right into when people exit and enter. The food was delicious. They did serve us an under flavored bowl of French onion soup, which they corrected when we notified them. The staff agreed that it was not up to par, and gave us a free bowl. The second was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant, but if you were calling to make a reservation, I would specifically request not to be seated at the bathroom tables. Come on y'all!“
