“Profoundly beautiful GF bread, the heritage loaf is perfect for sandwiches, the rye lacks for nothing, and the baguettes taste *exactly* like the (glutinous!!) French bread my grandmother used to bake. The employees are upbeat and friendly. Literally can’t believe this exists in Minneapolis, the texture is better than gf breads I’ve had in major cities at twice the price. They are often sold out by end of day, so go early! Also extremely cute that they’re named after a word their toddler used when she wanted to share food with people. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent bread, regardless of whether they eat gluten or not.“

“This is a great place. The owners are cool and fun to talk to. The baked goods are very high quality and affordable. A lot of other bakeries have stuff that tastes like bland butter mixed with sugar but this place has very good flavor. Not too sweet, high quality ingredients. “This is a neighborhood gem and is the place to come for rustic, whole grain and sourdough breads. Their other baked goods that I've tried including this curry roll, cheddar biscuit, and scones are also really good. The only thing I had from here that was just OK to me was their chocolate croissant. Seating is pretty limited so I have only done take out.I like that their offerings are constantly rotating with the seasons. The owner and staff are super friendly and I'm really glad they are in Longfellow!“

“We love coming here for a sweet treat. It's a simple cookie bakery. They have self-serve tablets to order or you can order with a staff. It's small, and depending when you go there may be a group inside waiting for their cookies. The cookies are good and switch out every week. We love their classic chocolate chip cookies! Soft in the inside and a slight crunch to the outside. Their lemon was good--surprised us actually. Their carrot cookie is like a small cake. I liked how I can taste the spices in it and the cream cheese frosting was perfect.“

“My fiancee is from a Mexican family and so we go to a lot of bakeries like this in the Twin Cities and in Milwaukee (where her family is from). This is hands-down the best one I've been to in terms of selection, value and service.I've tried about 6 different sweet breaks and all are delicious although my favorite are the molasses ones shaped like a pig. Fiancee also likes the bolillo which are basically the Mexican sandwich bread. They are a big bigger and softer than a french bread and are delicious. They have plain ones and also ones that are in the cases and are stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos. Delicious! Finally, we only go here for birthday cakes anymore as the tres leches are the best I've ever had. On all of these items, the price is what stands out. If you went to a high-end grocery store and got a bunch of sweet breads, regular bread and a full, massive tres leches cake, you'd be in for way over $100. Here, you're way under $100. It's nice to come to a place and feel like they're not trying to rip you off and that's how I feel here. Finally, a shout out to the workers here. Always the same folks and always super friendly and helpful. You're fine to come if you don't speak Spanish as well, so don't be shy!“

The people are friendly, it's cozy, the food is phenomenal - they have what is essentially adult toaster strudels - puff pastry, eggs, cheese, meat, ect.
