Habitat was lucky enough to build 4 homes in 10 days with volunteers from all over the nation. Just Jeffs provided their famous burgers for 120 volunteers including the Columbia SWAT Team! Four families were able to become homeowners through this event and we would not have been able to make this happen without the generosity of folks like Jeff and his team!! “Great cheeseburger and fries!“

“I grew up with SteaknShake. I was a curbboy at the " Riverview Circle" SteaknShake in north St. Louis in the mid Sixties. You drove into the lot, backed into a spot, and I would bring a menu. You turned on your headlights when you were ready to order. I wore leather souled shoes so that I could run toward your car and dramatically slide and spin 180 degrees to a stop at the drivers side window to take your order and noted your parking spot. I ran back to the service window and handed over the order to the cooks. The parking lot was divided into zones, north, south, east, and west. Each zone was your work area. Each curb boy had a number assigned to them. When the order was ready, the cook would announce the curb boys' zone and number. The meals were served on a "Windowtray." I ran from the service window to the car with the tray level with my ear and perched on top of my fingertips. (TIP: If you look at a cup of coffee while moving, it will spill out,
DONT look at it. Just move smoothly and quickly. The tray hooked over the top edge of the partially opened cars' drivers' side window. The customers removed the food from the tray and ate inside the car. If it was cold outside, they could roll up the window most of the way, with they tray still attached. When the customer was done or had an issue, they would turn on their headlights. The SteakNShakes around us have no curb service. You have to waste time in the drive-thru, waiting in line, one by one, waiting for the people in front of you to have their order cooked. Or go inside and punch your order into a half witted kiosk to order dine in food. The service is nonexistant. After ordering, pick your order up at the counter and seat yourself (if you can find a clean table). The SteakNShake in Columbia, Mo. has live personable waitresses to take and serve your order. It's clean and comfortable. It's too bad they don't have curb service anymore. Mugs Up in Columbia, Mo does at very reasonable rates.“

“Genuinely my favorite restaurant in Columbia, every time I've eaten here the waiters have all been engaged, efficient, and willing to go out of their way to help. I even saw one of them getting a dish of water and a treat for another customer's dog on a hot day. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, so I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you have the chance.“

“We have eaten here two nights in a row !
Working too much to cook . First night had my favorite pulled pork sandwich .The second night , I tried the smoked chicken sandwich and was not disappointed . All the side items are great, AND I didn't know I liked fried green tomatoes ? I gotta try the pork steak next time .Plenty of local draft beers to choose , a large variety of mixed drinks , soda, or water . The service was great ! And don't forget the nice patio if the weather is right !“

“Honestly every time I go to get take out I naturally lower my standards of what to expect and how I'll be treated, however the gentleman that took my order and handed us our food, actually had us leaving pleased before eating, he was super friendly and on point with his order taking, order reading and handling experience, the food was exactly as I asked and everything was in the bag! From all of my drive thru, take out or eating in experiences they rarely serve me what I've asked/ paid for, thank you Steak N Shake, the food and customer service were immaculate. We will be back!“

“Food was awesome! I had the juicy Lucy with onion straws, my wife had the impossible burger (veggie) with sweet potatoe tots and we shared a side of fries. We were blown away buy the quality of the food. Everything was as it should be. We're definitely coming back to tackle the menu again. Definitely worth the cost. Keep it up!“

“this place. ermm. ok so they do chicken and burger... never had the burger. they do their chicken better than chick fila tho which is nice. there's a bunch of games and stuff around and like they have a cool way of food... these little coaster things that vibrate when the food is done (pro tip: make sure to put it upside down so it makes way more noise. it can be quiet so this just makes sure you don't miss it) my only qualm with such an establishment as this is inconsistency... but that qualm is only valid during closing time; some food is a little cold by the time it gets out. if you like lore than this place is for you. it has lore. the hand sanitizer is kinda in the student center. the prices are ok with dining plan cause like it's at a discount.... overall this place is good for a student to eat food when hungry and to get a drink too. also the variety is somewhat limited but y'know they do the stuff good rather than having a bunch. they got this fake meat to. also the chicken is halal too so yeah. they do close pretty early though so get your food on before 4:30, also vegan stuff

“God himself must have come down and made our burgers because they were the best thing ever! Amanda also gave us a messed up ice cream order for free and the service was amazing. Super nice staff and amazing food! Everyone needs to go to this location now and get food NOW!“

“I have been going to Angelo's for as long as I can remember. I've never had a bad meal there. The gyros, pizza, and burgers, are always good. Pizza is one of a kind. There are places similar, but Angelo's is one of the best in my opinion.“

“This is a no frills kinda place for hand patted fresh burgers and ice cold beer!

Saw it had a great google score, so after watching Mizzou Softball, we stopped in for a quick bite before hitting the highway back home. Happy we did!!
It is Cash Only, but ATM nearby and prices meant you didn’t need to have a roll of dough!
Several pool tables, adequate seating, and don’t believe your first impression when you walk in. Nice people, mixed crowd, and straight forward beer and burgers!!“

“I enjoyed this place, a small drive up sit in your vehicle and get some good food and great rootbeer float. If looking for something new or new to the area, I recommend stopping in. I ordered the chili dog and chili cheese fries with a root beer float. They have a jib hamburger that's like a sloppy Joe, pretty good, and several other options worth giving it a try. Just a heads up, make sure to take cash, but the sign said local checks are OK. The building is on the back side of the street, so you might miss it if you are going down the main street. Just informational. Service was great, and the chili and rootbeer is homemade, I believe the lady informed me.“

“Server was great. A friend and I were having a "working dinner" and when we arrived shortly after 6:00, we sat at a booth. The outside dining area was pretty full, but not so much inside, so the atmosphere was good for us to talk. Around 8:30, more of a night crowd was coming in.Bathroom is clean enough but could definitely use some work.Food was good and at a good temperature. The soda had a funny taste to it. It was a Diet Coke, but had a fruity or flowery taste to it. The server got me another, and it tasted the same.The seating in the booth was pretty flat; I remember that being the case from the previous day I was there at another booth.

Parking: Plenty of parking when we arrived a little after 6:00, but full when we left at 9:00. Two handicap spots.

Wheelchair accessibility: Doorways are wide enough, but not automatic. Not much floor space.“

Mabe they just don’t like rap? Is it racist to not like rap? Do you like country? Do you know any country? If you had a club would there be country music avalible everyday? Prolly not. All good tho. “Had the absolute BEST server ever. He made eye contact and was so sweet to bring me an extra fruit cup on the house. This place is so amazing, especially for a date or a solo dining experience. I will definitely be coming back. I wish I could remember my servers name because he deserves a huge raise for the work he did!

“Burger quality is decent. I used to go here all the time, but updated $12 pricing for a double patty burger without sides is a hard pill to swallow, especially when you can go to Just Jeff's for about the same price.

The staff didn't seem to pay much attention to clearing off tables, so expect to do that yourself. Regardless, the food was fresh and good, and didn't take long to be ready.

It wouldn't be my first choice for a burger in town, but I went because a friend suggested that we stop there for lunch and the experience was about what I expected.“

Order at the register & they bring it to the table .We had a wahlbuger, fries, panko fish sandwich , tiny onion rings and milk shakes .They were out of sweet potato tater tots !Food was very good. “I really like this Burger King location. Sure. It doesn't have a lot of Characters. From the Burger King universe on walls. Or anything. But I really like how they still have a play area in this Burger King. And it's ginormous. In fact, a lot of Burger King still have play areas. They may not be as big as this, but they still have them. It makes me wish that restaurants like McDonald's would stick to this stuff instead of trying to make everything boring as possible. And they do a really good job at keeping the play areas clean. I actually went inside. I want a few times in this restaurant. So I know that they're clean. It's just a lot of fun and the food. Although just like other burger, kings I think it's hit-or-miss. I think they're chicken sandwiches and fries aren't good , but they're burgers , all right And that goes for their nuggets. They still get your orders done really fast. With the employees being nice. And I don't seem to have problems where they get them wrong when I go through to drive through, like other places with McDonald's. This Burger King location is really good and it makes me wish in other places like McDonald's. As I mentioned would go back to this formula with giant play areas. For kids can have fun. Instead of having cheap small looking plate areas or just not having any at all. This burger Burger King even has. Spatula handles on it still. M.
Cdonald's doesn't even have their golden arches anymore. They pretty much remove them. They don't even really have them in their tour attractions anymore.“

“Kaleb (that’s the name on the receipt) was working the drive thru window and intercom today 12/12 around 330 he was so pleasant and had such a good attitude! Sometimes i come here and the staff just seem like they hate their jobs and are not friendly at all however he was very positive and had great customer service skills.“

“at approximately 5:40 p.m. today I was met with a level of professionalism and courtesy that I did not expect from Sonic Drive-In. a young man with a nose ring to have been the politest and most professional employee I have ever dealt with at a chain restaurant. they made the experience absolutely pleasant and I will for sure be back. having worked just short of corporate management in a large box store, this is the type of thing that shows me someone belongs in management. the food was hot and served quickly and to the letter of instructions. well done.“
