“I was in from out of town with a friend over the weekend, both of us are Mizzou Alum, and we remembered the brewery being great so we had to stop in. Our servers name was Jade and the service she provided us was excellent, she recommended the pasta special which was delicious. She was very efficient, it was busy, yet we never had an empty glass on our table. It makes me so happy to see that the brewery is still thriving, walking in the door brought back so many great memories, and anytime I’m in town, I will be back. Job well done!“
“Always great people who care about the food they are serving. Seems like a fun place to be and work. The pizza is good and they also have vegan cheese!!Dietary restrictions: Vegan cheese & gluten free crust makes this a spot my family can and enjoys eating at.“
“Amazing Pizza! 1st visit of Many to come. George gave us his personal attention and was a really interesting guy. I highly recommend this place. They only use top quality products and it makes the difference. Give them a try. Support your local businesses.“
“This is 1 of 2 of my fav pizza places in CoMo. You can’t go wrong with the classic pepperoni, reminds me of NY style but thicker crust. They also have different/interesting topping combos that I want to try! Take out only, but you can also get Pizza by the “
“The food here is great and the manager was very welcoming. This location has great energy and all the employees were welcoming. The pizza is great and salads amazing. The manager was handing out the pizzas and made sure to make the location have a nice welcoming energy.“
“Their vegan pizza with hand tossed crust is so delicious!!! I went twice in 3 days last week and still wanted more of that pizza. They were very helpful with questions and went to ask others when they weren't sure. Good place for vegan pizza for sure ?Vegetarian options: I'm vegan, has 1 very good pizza clearly labeled vegan!“
“We want to thank Shakespear's Pizza for being such an amazing community partner! Habitat was lucky enough to build 4 homes in 10 days with volunteers from all over the nation. Shakespeare's decided to not only donate a lunch for all of the volunteers on the construction site, but also provide pizza for hundreds of guests celebrating the completion of Blitz Build. 4 families were able to become homeowners through this event and pizza is the moving-day meal of America! Thank you for all you do in our community! Kind staff, great and affordable food, community focused:10/10 recommend!“
“This is a family favorite! We eat here about once a month. There are lots of tables and booths. The staff is friendly and you can watch them make your pizza! They have t-shirts you can buy and I've seen people wearing them around the nation!Kid-friendliness: Kids can watch the pizza being made and will get tossed a ball of dough to play with!Wheelchair accessibility: Both my parents are in wheelchairs and we can successfully navigate inside to find seating when we choose to dine in.“

“I have ordered Gumby’s pizza over 100 times in my short time in college. That’s not an exaggerated number. I have the emails to prove it. At this point I’m thinking about getting a Gumby’s tattoo because it’s becoming such an important part of my “
“Great Customer Service By Front Of House Staff “Ryan” Back Of House Staff “Cook” Came Out To Make Sure Wanted What Was All On The Shell Pasta! Great Item On The Menu! They Adjusted To Fit My Order. Very Please. Will Recommend! Yummy!“
“A great sandwich & soup! I tend to order the beef club and tomato bisque soup. both are great. this time I ordered extra Mayo, yellow mustard extra onions. Wow! what a taste-filled extravaganza! .much better than Subway or Jimmy John's, for different reasons. They delivered it quickly and the driver excellently followed my complicated directions, without a hitch. The only negative, is that they always forget to include napkins. But everything else was SO GOOD!“
“Southside pizza was such an amazing experience. My friends and I were craving some good food at midnight and we were able to call south side. The man on the other end of the phone was so nice and patient with us as we asked him questions about the menu. When I tell you this food was amazing I mean it. This is what I imagine they greet you with at heavens gates. Pepperoni was AMAZING. Fries were AMAZING. Also good quality ranch. Highly recommend!“
“Usually stop in for drinks, but needed food on this particular trip. I was blown away. I am not kidding: the burger I had rivals and was probably better than anything else Columbia. Fries were crispy and hot. I will 1000% return for food very soon. Service was great as well. Tables and booths were clean.“
“This place is a great shop at anytime of day. Wether you need to warm up with a warm bowl of Mac or fill up with a cold sub they got you covered. The very late hours make it very nice for the customer who works late ! You must stop by and give a try!“
“I have been going to Angelo's for as long as I can remember. I've never had a bad meal there. The gyros, pizza, and burgers, are always good. Pizza is one of a kind. There are places similar, but Angelo's is one of the best in my opinion.“
“Have always heard good things about Pickleman’s and finally got a chance to try while in Columbia. Sandwich was good as well as tomato basil soup. There was only one cashier working and she was working very hard the whole time taking orders and multitasking. She was very hospitable! That is much appreciated these days in customer service. Thank you for a great experience!“
“Best pizza in Columbia, best house made sausage anywhere, a tatziki that would make a resident of Greece happy.Tony's is a legend for locals, I now live in Europe and it's my first stop when I arrive back in the U.S. The pizza has a crisp crust, that has flavor without being oily. The pies are perfectly sauced and generously cheesed, it goes right to the edge of the pie. The superstar on the pizza is their house made sausage, it's heaven on a plate. After eating the sausage here, every other pizza joints sausage pies disappoint. On the Greek menu they serve gyros, and it's popular and great choice, but the Souvlaki is king for me. Tender grilled pork with a thick Greek yogurt based tatziki. No watery tatziki here. The same family has owned it for decades and they are good people. They have a rapport with most of their customers. The inside isn't fancy, but it is what a local pizza joint should look like. I can't wait for my next trip.“
“Ignore the bad reviews, this is my new favorite bar. The regulars are welcoming and friendly and the staff is just amazing . Special shout out to Emily and Crystal for making my night one to remember. I can’t wait to go back and support the events they do for the community and have some great drinks.“
“Arris' is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I am in town for work! The Venus and Hippocrates pizzas are some of my favorites, but everything on the menu is great. I also recommend getting the Spanakopita as an appetizer. Make sure to ask if they have fresh, house made baklava when you go!“
“Savvy shopping only townies know about. It's really good crust, very fair pricing and they just couldn't be nicer. They made me feel like they genuinely wanted my business rather than being a problem. The toppings are sliced fresh. It's even got the ambiance of confidence.“
“Love me some Imo's, but the atmosphere lacks from Shakespeare's. If you like Imo's this location does the job. I ordered the 10" lunch special with provel garlic bread and drink. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.“
“My first visit to Shakespeare's was back in 2011. Our recent visit this past Sunday was like a walk down memory lane.We ordered the Masterpiece and the taste brings back so many good memories of my childhood and visiting local pizza joints. Deliveries were NOT a thing back then. The atmosphere is fun and the simplicity of ordering, sitting, and being summoned to pick up your food is part of the whole experience.I can see why it has been a mainstay in Columbia for this long.“
