“We were very disappointed that the sauce which came with the steamed dumplings appetizer has been changed significantly. Is way too spicy. Even the meat on the Mongolian Beef was not as tasty. Also, we used to be able to get sweet and sour pork even though not on menu, but now can't. Whoever changed the menu's and recipes should reconsider to avoid reduction in business. Thanks.“

“Quick, friendly service! We started with Shumai and Soup dumplings and both were delicious. The Miso hotpot was to die for as well as the Crispy seafood noodle. And to top it off we got the Brown sugar milk tea shaved ice. This place definitely lifted our spirits and got us out of the winter blues.“

“Great food (Honey Chicken and Singapore Mei Fun are absolute must-tries). Fried rice is the closest to St. Louis City fried rice you’ll find in St. Charles County! They offer takeout and delivery and also have two small tables if you want to dine in. Make sure you grab a menu because they have coupons once you spend over $20.“

“Called and went in to order within 20 mins of them closing. Not only were they super friendly. The food was great, all prepared fresh and did not wait for very long at all. I will be ordering from this place for all my future orders. Thank you all very much... It even all is given to you to carry out in sturdy reusable shopping bags!!!“

“This is honestly the absolute BEST Chinese food you can find any where in the tri-county area. I’ve paid ridiculous amounts of money for Chinese food and this place blows them all out of the water. I cannot recommend them enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
Also, their hot and sour soup is quite literally the best I’ve EVER had.“

“The sautéed broccoli is perfection. Tastes just the same as it did when I ate it in China. 🤤 My kids love the sesame chicken and chicken lo mein. It’s our go to everytime for delivery. The owner is also a very sweet woman.“

“All Chinese restaurants in St. Louis are what I call fake Chinese food. However, I like to judge them by how they make their Singapore Mei fun which is what I always order. Well this one is delicious! Mei fun means rice noodles and Singapore Mei fun has all the meats including shrimp chicken beef and Chinese bbq pork in a slightly spicy yellow curry sauce. I give 5 star also for friendliness!“

“This place is crazy delicious!
Their portions are very generous, especially for the price and omg their crab rangoons are probably the best in ST. Louis!
Vegetarian options: Veggie low mein veggie spring rolls, maybe others.“

“Ordered here for the first time after a google review search and 88 China is our new go-to for take out. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon were perfect. They were light, crunchy and GBD(Golden Brown and Delicious). We tried the Beef Broccoli and Lo Mein combos with fried rice. The Beef Broccoli was simply amazing. The sauce was light and fresh tasting, the Beef was delectable and the Broccoli was superbly cooked with a semi-soft "crunch" that made the dish. The Lo Mein was flavorful and well sauced with an abundance of smoky pork. The fried rice is simply the best I have ever had. It was full of flavor and delicately seasoned without the grease. It was simply superb for take-out.“

“Good take out for regionally adjusted (seasoned) Chinese food. This trip, the food was on the very sweet side (seasoning). The sweet was prevalent throughout all of the cooked items. The steamed rice was of good quality. They accept credit cards, and food can be ordered online. Though there inside seats and tables, eating in not really an option.“

“Fantastic Chinese food. It's not PF changs. It's not some fancy Chinese restaurant. It's good quality Chinese food served by good people and it hits that craving you get whenever you see people eat Chinese take out on tv.
I travel the country for work and this is going on a must get everytime I'm in the area.
I would say this is like "diner" quality chinese which is exactly what I want“

“We ordered Beef fried rice with no onions, crab ragoon, sweet and sour pork w/ pineapple, and sweet and sour soup. Did not know they were new owners. We did carryout for many years with old owners! Great food though!“

“If you are originally from St. Louis then you know, we typically have the best Chineese food in the country. People from St. Louis who move to other states come back home for the Chineese food. Emperor is by far the best I have ever had in St. Charles County. It's consistent, the flavor is always good and the food is fresh. We love their fried rice, egg foo young, St. Paul Sandwiches, Mei Fun, Lomein, Black Pepper Chicken and chicken wings. Just try them, I promise you don't be disappointed.
Plus they are on Door Dash so it's a "Win Win".“

“After trying several other places in the area, we finally decided to give this place a try as it's super close...SO GLAD WE DID. It is absolutely our new go-to place. My 14yo even requested it for a birthday dinner with friends...we ordered 9 combination dinners with additional stuff and the whole order was perfect. Everyone loved it and there are plenty of leftovers. We love that they have the combination dinners...entree, rice/noodle choice and either crab Rangoon or egg roll for a great price.“

“New China is a fantastic find! Tucked away in a strip mall, it might be easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth discovering. We started with the appetizer platter, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of flavors and textures.
For the main course, the Chicken Lo Mein was excellent, with tender noodles and a savory sauce that was just right. The Singapore Mei Fun was also good.
If you're looking for a delicious Chinese spot that’s a bit off the beaten path, New China is a great choice. Highly recommend it!“

“Good food. About 20 years ago I found a metal nut in my fried rice, but I still go back because it is so good. That was the location on Salt Lick Rd.. 谢谢
Parking: Parking lot is small and has a big hill that makes it odd. You might need to park in front of one of the neighboring businesses.“

“Favorite spot for American Chinese food for weekday dinners. Particularly find of the shrimp Egg Foo Young, but they have a number of traditional Americanized dishes that appeal to the Western pallette.

“I'm of the opinion that these negative reviewers don't know Chinese food. First off my delivery was on time, packaged well, and piping hot. My spring rolls were crispy and savory. I wish they were bigger but I'll just order more next time. I was not aware there was a Chinese version of Bourbon Chicken but I am now and I am here for it. My order was delicious and portioned much too large for me to finish. It was almost as good heated up for breakfast the next day. Do yourself a favor and take the negative reviews with a grain of salt and try this place for yourself. I'll be back for sure.“

“Good food, I got the Mei Fun chicken noodles. If you like heavily seasoned things, I don't recommend this dish. But I enjoyed it, it was a nice chicken-broth flavor. There's no description on the menu, so if I had to tell you what veggies are in it I would say celery, white onion, mushrooms, and some other veggie that I didn't recognize but was yummy. Definitely would've been better if there was more sauce or broth, but nonetheless good. Crab rangoons are sweet but not too sweet. Sweet and sour was good, came with the bright red sweet and sour sauce on the side. I would go back again ?“

“I have ordered from the app twice now and haven't eaten in. The value for money is good. I find the fried rice to be dry compared to Chinese local restaurants. I think I will try the lo mein next time. Anyway the entrees are good mostly sugar chicken.“
