“Their tuna sandwich is the best I ever had. It makes the sandwich even more sloppy and tasty. Just as I like it.Vegetarian options: Got a lot little of this, not much”
“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.”
“Excellent dinner. Easy to make reservation. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt, great flow/ timing of presenting food. The food itself was excellent! My only wish is that hot sake was an option.Dietary restrictions: Did very well with gluten and dairy free options. Staff was knowledgeable on allergies and appropriate menu items.”
“Louie was amazing!! The food and service were the best part! Our waitress Emma went above and beyond!! She took the time to explain the dishes and be super personable!! Ask for Emma, she’s the best!!!”
“Went for their New Year's Eve party, it was such fun! The sample drinks were tasty and the food was yummy. Topping it off with their ice cream minis was a great idea. The sorbet was delicious. Miss Julia was a fun band.”
“Went to St. Louis for the first time and found this gem! Everything I had here was yummy! The staff here is super friendly which seems hard to come by nowadays. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!”
“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito. My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.”
“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."”
“Exquisite food! Service was excellent as well. We will be returning to try more of the menu. Each course was timed perfectly and was enough to not leave you craving more. Overall a great dining experience.”
“Worth the wait in lin. 1st time going here, got the classic Italian. Great sandwich! Great bread, I got the cheese garlic. Definitely will be back for lunch. Too bad you guys close at , I want more sandwiches take home for dinner after work. ?”
“This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”
“Lynette is the most amazing person ever. She was so nice and amazing. Definitely gave me a greta impression of this place. Lynette gave us the food fast and was very accommodating to my allergy.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten free allergy and this place is amazing.”
“My dad had been telling me about this place since you all opened and this is the first time I got to experience the deliciousness for myself. Dad had a burger for the first time that he can remember and I enjoyed the BLT! highly recommend!”
“A little out of the way on the loop, which can be nice if you want a bite without yelling to talk with who you’re with. Street tacos were great, absolutely recommend. A little pricier, but you can tell they use quality ingredients.”
“My favorite place! Highly recommend to anyone looking to try something new. The wait times are always short, they’re super speedy here! The Rave energy drinks are top tier.”
“Food was great. Service took a bit long but that was due to the conference going on. Love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. I loved their fried rice and chargrilled aubergine.”
“I was in town for a conference and I went to Food Network for some recommendations and this restaurant popped up. I was not disappointed the ribs and pulled pork were really great. The sauces were really good and the atmosphere was so friendly and just down home. I love the option of eating indoors or outdoor. Great place if you are a visitor. And a lot of locals recommended this place.”
“The food was overall good but not great or life changing. We are big fans of Vicia and were hoping for the same complexity of flavors but did not find it in all the dishes here - only some of them.We ordered:Gougeres - cheese fondue and popovers. Fondue was good but the popovers were kind of doughy and dense.Beef tartare - fine, not great - the tartare was a bit flavorless and flat despite being served with a jusFrench onion soup - good! No complaints.Mussels - the star of the show, 5/5, some of the best mussels I’ve hadPain perdu - a carmelized dessert with toasted brioche and Clementine’s ice cream that was delicious.Special shout out to the mocktail Papillon. I don’t like when mocktails are just fruit juice but this one really had the complexity and slight bitterness of a cocktail.Overall we would come back but there are flavor profiles of some dishes that could be elevated to make this a 5/5 meal.”
“First time here and will definitely be back. Food was great and staff was very nice. Egg rolls were awesome. Duck was a bit dry but still tasty. Can’t want to go try the shrimp ban mi”
“Not all Steakhouses are created equal. Hamilton's provides an intimate setting for a quality dining experience. If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. You will have the opportunity to sip on some spirits that are hard to find anywhere. It's wise to grab a reservation or enjoy a spot at their cozy bar.”
“I've lived in Saint Louis for about a year and a half and am moving this week. I've been to iNDO 3 times since moving here. It is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I came as a final goodbye tonight and it was so bittersweet! I can't believe this place isn't rated higher on Google. Absurd. The food has layers of flavor, is interesting, fresh, and always so well done. Dishes are clearly so well thought out, with visual, textural, and flavorful elements that just scratch an itch in your brain. The quality of the sashimi is superior. I sometimes forget we're in Saint Louis because man, that is some good fish. The service also never misses, with knowledgable staff and perfect coursing of dishes. Thank you to everyone working there for giving me such fond memories!!”
“We were in attendance for Monthly Girlfriend luncheon. Only 1 of us 4 had visited Hendel's in the distant past and she chose the restaurant. You don't see a lot of truly warm and cozy restaurants nestled within the neighborhood that's prospered. The food was good and service was excellent and as we have visited restaurants month after months, it's obvious that cooks aren't same. There is space for indoor & outdoor eating with limited parking. Nice afternoon luncheon experience ?Parking: Free parking in rear where u have a short walk from vehicle into establishment, but if full being that it's sitting in residential area, one can park on side street, no meters, & without inconveniencing residents.Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around where we sat indoors but no one seemed disturbed by their antics ?”
“Food was YUM, service was friendly, and the space and location is so cute. In the heart of the hill, a must-go-to place for a hot or cold Italian sandwich that tastes authentic and made with love. The Grace was my fav! With Italian sausage, pepperoni, cheese and red sauce.”
“We were out on a Monday morning produce run for our restaurant and wanted a quick brunch. Service was fast, friendly, and delicious. Parking can be odd but it’s worth the Tetris.”
“The food is absolutely fantastic and the owner and staff are all so kind. Thank you so much for for such an amazing experience and dinner. Best sushi in the St. Louis area. I can't imagine eating it anywhere else again.”
“Nice atmosphere. The scones, the coffee and the service were good. The only reason for not getting five stars is that my cortado wasn't a cortado - it was more like a flat white. But I would definitely go back.”
“This is a GREAT neighborhood restaurant! Great ambiance in the front room! Very good wine list; we thoroughly enjoyed the Manzone Gramolere Barolo. The food was excellent, and the portions quite large on the Chicken Marsala. One of the specials was Divers Scallops on a bed of risotto, and the scallops were perfectly done. Service after the entree could have been more attentive.”
“Tonight our pickup order was about 20 min late. Apparently there was a new cook doing the dumplings. We just want the new cook to know that you may have had a tough night, but your dumplings were excellent. Thanks!”
“Born and raised in Miami and this is the best tasting, most authentic food in the STL area. Catered for an event at Scott AFB - service was exceptional, food was amazing, and received tons of compliments on everything. A must for any foodie craving a taste of Havana!”
“I've never gone to Lee's fried chicken and received a bad meal before.I was just out done. The chicken was very dark, and I couldn't tell that the oil needed to be changed . The flour needed changing also. There were clumps of breading on the chicken. And in the box.If I did not live so far away , I would have returned it. We managed to eat it because it was late and it was edible . But not up to Lee's standards. I worked for the company before in a manager position. So I know the standards . That was not it.”
