I have been coming here since I was a baby and it is still just as delicious. The best enchiladas I have ever had anywhere! The shredded beef in their dishes is so tender and flavorful, most Mexican places around town use bland ground beef that is barely palatable. Their tamales are awesome as well, so much flavor in the chicken or the pork (my favorite). If you have never tried this St. Louis treasure, you’re missing out and should go immediately!
Awesome!!! I've been going to Ruiz for at least 45 years. They have the best food. Especially the Garlic Tequila Fish on Fridays during Lent. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.Kid-friendliness: They offer a good Kids Menu
