“My son and I take field trips to different places when he's visiting from L. A! The staff is super friendly and the ambiance is super cute! The food is top tier and the juice taste like nectar from the gods! My son had the tamale dish and it tasted like a yummy vacation! I had the cheese grits and let's say the whole bowl was devoured in 10 minutes, so creamy and delicious. My son and I shared the cheese sandwich which was delicious as well! I'm so coming back! The wait time wasn't too long and street parking is available.“

“Ate at this restaurant for a celebratory meal. Absolutely amazing. Although this was several months ago. I still feel like this was one of my top 3 dinner experiences ever! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and friendly service. We went all out! The chicken was to die for! We had a special cheese that was flown in from over seas and fresh peach slices. Our server was OVER THE TOP FANTASTICAL!Oh yeah. The portions...2 people .ate off this meal for 3 days.“

The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito.My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.“

“Amazing experience. The restaurant is a little loud, so people with noise sensitivity may opt for outdoor seating. Despite being extremely full, there was no wait and food and beverages were delivered promptly. Servers were friendly. The food was delicious. I had an adult float, a classic root beer float with rum and it was amazing. Float portions are huge, but they can be split between two people. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and most of my family got burgers, and everything was well made. Surprisingly affordable, especially given portion sizes.“

“We took an hour drive to go to this restaurant, the food was awesome. We both had blackened salmon with sautéed green beans, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese. What I noticed first was that the skin had been removed, I never eat that skin, I knew it was going to be good. This allowed the seasoning to get into the fish on both side, most places leave the skin on, and the fish would be lacking in flavor. But not at Drake's Place. This was the most flavorful salmon I've ever eaten. The green beans were good, but I would have enjoyed a little more crunch. I didn't get a picture of the desserts. We had lemon and chocolate cake that was superb. The service was great. The young man that was our server was very attentive and displayed a great attitude during our visit. We highly recommend Drake's Place.“

I was surprised seeing 3-4 people working behind the counter - you"ll definitely get your order in no time. Poke Munch is a small place but well maintained. They also have outdoor seating. You can park in front of the store or in King's landing garage. Today I got BYO bowl -brown rice, salmon, spicy tuna, ahi tuna, spicy crab with honey wasabi sauce. Salmon was really fresh but I was disappointed at the tuna and the spicy crab. In my opinion. The food quality here was much better before. I"ll still come back another time to give another try.“
