“I have been coming to Hi-Boy's my whole life. It's the best cheeseburger in town. My mother was a teen when it opened. She taught us to love it and now my kids crave it! We now live 2 hours away and it's the first place we stop when we come to KC!!!“
“This location was very clean. There were many workers busy taking orders, delivering food, wiping down tables and maintaining the beverage station. By the time we ordered and filled our drinks, a worker carrying a tray of food saw the number card in our hand and waited for us to pick a table. It was ready that quick! The food was warm and delicious.“
“Have been several times and have not been disappointed. Its pretty much everything you'll want in a burger, your choice on toppings and the toppings themselves seem of good quality. I rarely get a burger out because why bother when Im the only one that can make it how I like. The cook on the burgers are perfect - charred just right but still juicy. Not necessarily greasy. I like mine with lite mayo and ketchup, lettuce, sauted onions and jalapenos and a pickles. They do it just right. Also the chili cheese tots are some awesome.“
“Our server Jon was very attentive, made sure that he got our order written down correctly, continuously brought out refills sauce etc. and had a smile on his face the whole time. There was some miscommunication in the kitchen but my food was promptly remade. The manager Chris was apologetic and made sure we were satisfied with our meals. The entire staff went above and beyond, especially Jon and Chris!“
“Gochew is absolutely wonderful. The food is incredibly delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the gochew sauce, as it added a delightful flavor to my meal. The staff at Gochew were exceptionally friendly, and the service was prompt and efficient. I highly recommend Gochew.“
“Classic Americana burger joint with its little league sponsorships displayed proudly. Young folks behind the counter may need some nudges to remember everything, but they're working hard and eager to get it right. The food's good and very satisfying. Only place I know north of Osceola that does a Peach Nehi float.Kid-friendliness: 100%Wheelchair accessibility: Watch out for that curb“
“Stopped by this evening to grab dinner. Went through the drive-thru. Received my food and drove home.I ordered a chocolate shake and drank it omw home. The straw was extra large which made it easier to drink. They use actual ice-cream and make these fresh. The chocolate milkshake is definitely worth the stop.I got home and dove into my food. My burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. The lettuce and tomatoe was fresh. I then tried my chili cheese fries. I think these are probably the best in town. I put a generous amount of ketchup on my fries and devoured them. For the $ Back Yard Burger can't be beat. Good food for a good price.“
“I eat here every Saturday. Always the best burger ever but today was even better. Don't know how that's possible but THANK YOU BURGER BOY!!!!!!!!!!That was a couple years ago. This is new!THEY ARE LOSING THEIR STANDARDS! Past two times onion rings were burnt and inedible! This time undercooked and a slimy mess! They have the greatest onion rings anywhere if they can just get their standards back up and do them right! I'll end here maybe they'll get it together and become the greatest place ever again!“
“I highly recommend the Lunch Box. I tried their "satellite" location, manned by David on Noland Road, and had a crispy shredded beef taco and a pork tamale with tomato salsa and green salsa for under $5. It was delicious and authentic!!“
“The food was good overall, salad was a little sad so 4 stars. It was during a Chiefs game, so the atmosphere was absolutely ELECTRIC! DEFINITELY recommend going during a sporting event, go early to get the best seats and stay all day! Can't go wrong with the specials on LIIT.“
“Shocking as it is, this was my first time at Hi-Boy. It was good! The burgers are huge, though my daughter and I found them just a bit spicy. I liked it, but the picky kiddo refused to eat half her burger. The fries are good, with a bit of a coating, but my tots were a smidge underdone. They use fresh diced onions, and a lot of them in the burger. If you want to add condiments, you'll want to flip your cheeseburger and open the bottom bun, because the top one is glued on with cheese. No kid meals with toys, which I like, but my child was slightly disappointed in. The burgers are the flattened kind, but they don't use that as a way to use less meat. They have fried pickles and onion rings, as well as shakes, but I didn't try those today. Atmosphere is clean and slightly updated old- school diner.“
“I was on my way home from work and happened to stop at lunch box to get a bite. As soon as I walked in I was sincierly greeded with a smile by stephanie who took my order in a fast and polite manner. The Food was delicious and her service was astonishing!!!.I highly recommended this place to anyone who wants to experience Their top of the line "burrito".“
“Ordered online for pickup last night. I have to say this was the best cheeseburger I have had in a very long time! Fresh hot & delicious, but the burger itself wasn’t smashed flat or packed down making it dense like other places. Fries were hot & fresh. Great meal & I will be back, thanks Five Giys!“
“I recently dined here while staying at the attached hotel for business. I was impressed. The meal I had was absolutely delicious. From the honey butter with warm bread to the wonderful butternut squash dish, ending with carrot cake to go. The presentation was done fabulously. But what really stood out was the atmosphere of the restaurant. The cozy yet upscale decor with a western theme. Loved it. From walking in the door to finalizing the bill the service was perfect. I truly enjoyed my meal and overall dining experience. This is a must visit restaurant for delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.“
