“I happened to find this while I was driving through Kansas City. I saw the amount of people in the restaurant and knew this must be a good place to eat. I stoped and was very happy with my choice. The food was fantastic and the service was quick and pleasant.“

The food was great, the service a little less than great (feel our waitress was new) because she kept forgetting things (as in dinner ware) and our 'to go' box ?Parking: Plenty of parking, handicap parking and order pickup. “A typical, quick, breakfast place with the usual selection of breakfast fare except no hashbrowns offered.Service was excellent - staff asked if I was new to the area as "it's usually a local spot".Wheelchair accessibility: Normal sized doorways, however not sure if automatic doors openers were present.“

When the kitchen forgot an ingredient in one of our dishes, she went out of her way to replace the dish *in it's entirety* because she wanted us to have the full experience, even though the food was half gone.Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten free diets and are extremely accommodating when other allergies are involved.“

“My wife ordered Jon's Denver omelet and requested spinach instead of the peppers. No problem with the substitution. Omelet was done just the way she prefers. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy. I also added an order of toast just so I could get the raspberry spread. Corned beef hash was a standard in my parents' home. I hadn't eaten it since I graduated college in 1968 and left home. My mom's version was really good, but Homegrown's was exponentially bette r. Brooklyn was our server. She was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. A diverse menu of well prepared and presented food with first-rate service at reasonable prices.“

“Wow! Terrific pizza, location, atmosphere as d overall diving experience! Impressive lunch! The pizza is voted one of the best in the area, and now I know why! It was ordered as desired and didn't disappoint! The crust of the pizza is truly one of the best I've ever tasted! Impeccable product! The building was beautiful and inviting, inside and out! “I ordered the pick three…a half Reuben and tomato soup. The soup was great and the Reuben was good. The strawberry rhubarb pie was very disappointing. It seemed like strawberry jam and stewed rhubarb mixed together. Very gooey with little substance. The crust was good. Service excellent.“

“I come here to this restaurant every time I visit my friend. My service this time was just not that good. The food was cold and the waffle that I received was very crispy. We do you get pretty quick service this time and the restaurant was not to busy.Parking: There are several restaurants around this area so you may have to drive around a few times before you find parking“

“I've only had good experiences at First Watch.I love the stories that highlight their seasonal dishes on their seasonal menu. The shrimp and grits was WOW, and what a great spiked Lavender Lemonade to switch things up from my usual cup of coffee w/ glass oat milk on side.Having been to four different locations this one is a favorite due to it's cozy window seats and convenient distance from the plaza.Parking: Some tricky turns to make and a one-way lane to keep your eyes out for.“

“Being from the North where Waffle House is hard to find, I always stop when I go down South. This location was clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Next time I'm in this area, I will be stopping by again.“

“Last time I got takeout here it was ready quickly, the staff was friendly, and everything was there. The to-go packaging was a little rough, but otherwise I was really pleased with the experience! I got the pumpkin pancakes which I'm sure are seasonal. They tasted exactly like these giant ones I used to get on my college campus -- rush of nostalgia and cinnamon!“

She’s been working there longer than i’ve been alive and it’s obviously because she’s amazing at her job and she didn’t even judge when i wanted to try grits with chili. this is our new go to waffle house in KC.“

“-THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS-Found it very busy- the worker told us it would be approximately 30 minutes before we were seated. They got us in much quicker and the server was very kind. Sadly they forgot to put in a pancake order, but were pleasantly surprised when a worker apologized to us and gave us a $20 gift card AND took the pancake off of the ticket.“

“Wow, the employees at this location are true professionals. Our order was expediently taken, relayed to the cook in the terse language known only to true Waffle House masters. Our meals arrived in a flash exactly as ordered and perfect in every way. Our drinks were refilled before we had to ask and our check was slipped onto the table without fanfare. “It was my first time to waffle house. It was smaller than I was expecting and we did almost leave. I'm glad we didn't. The server, Laine, was very friendly and the food was great. The prices were very reasonable for the amount that you get. If we're back in the area I would definitely go back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the door and no steps in the restaurant. A wheelchair or walker would get around just fine.“
