“Tays is probably my top burger joint. Grass fed beef burgers leave you full, but not weighed down like 5 guys or somewhere like that. The only thing is I often order bacon and most times it's missing from my burger, but that 1.50 charge aint! Last time I went in I said something and the cook hooked me up and made sure I had bacon! Grab a local bottled soda to go with your food! My favorite is the orange and strawberry creme sodas!“

“We traveled from South Carolina to visit family and they took us to Brewer's Kitchen. The food was exceptional. Each burger option is unique, fresh cut fries seasoned just right. The fact that everything is locally sourced is a plus in my book. The staff was friendly and caring. Give Brewer's Kitchen a try and you'll go back.“

“Very nice restaurant! The menu had a lot of delicious offerings and our party had a hard time deciding what to eat. The salmon was fabulous! The meatloaf was great! The guac and bread were brilliant starters. Service was great, I think my water had to be refilled 5x...but our server was on top of it. I would very much go back!“

“In August 2021, Hamburger Mary's Kansas City reported that the establishment would require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. I assumed the requirement had been lifted; however, I wanted to be sure I was prepared (I am vaccinated; my friend is not). Not to mention, I work in an academic/healthcare setting where masks & vaccination status are a daily consideration, so it's something still on my mind. Therefore, I sent Hamburger Mary's a very quick question via Facebook. Attached is a photo of the response I received. My question was in no way impolite, so I'm not sure why the business felt the need to say anything other than no. I'm not easily offended, but I also don't appreciate being spoken to in such a snarky manner for what I considered a perfectly reasonable & respectful question. I was really looking forward to visiting (and donating to a worthy cause!), but I have decided to celebrate my birthday elsewhere.“

“I have been coming to Hi-Boy's my whole life. It's the best cheeseburger in town. My mother was a teen when it opened. She taught us to love it and now my kids crave it! We now live 2 hours away and it's the first place we stop when we come to KC!!!“

“We were recently at Chappell’s for lunch and I must say, the service provided by our server Carrie was outstanding! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and took great care of us. It’s always a pleasure to encounter someone who is so passionate about providing great service. However, I find it necessary to mention that our experience was not 100%. A lady who I later found out was the manager, her appearance was a bit off putting. She was dressed very inappropriately for the setting. She was dressed in very short shorts which were a bit too revealing which detracted from the overall ambiance of the establishment. It’s unfortunate because every other aspect of our visit was otherwise delightful.Overall, while Carrie made our visit memorable for all the right reasons, the management could perhaps reconsider the dress code to maintain the high standards that one would expect in such a lovely restaurant.“

“Welcome to Helen's JAD (Just Another Dive)! Known for their wings and late night kitchen, Helen's is one of the few late night spots in KC where you can get food at the end of a fun night on the town.FOODI had the All-American Burger ?. It was quite tasty and I definitely recommend it. My friend had the wings and said they were delicious as well. We didn't try the pizza but that will definitely be my pick if I end up back there.SERVICEOur food came out quickly and our server seemed cool/nice. They made sure to ask if we wanted another drink as soon as we polished off the last. No complaints there!ATMOSPHEREAppropriately named (Just Another Dive), the atmosphere at Helen's was that of a generic dive. The music wasn't for me tbh. It was mostly classic rock tunes i hadn't heard in years (and wouldn't have minded keeping it that way) mixed with modern country which just ain't my vibe, but also, it's Kansas City so what do you expect? This definitely isn't like one of the more artsy, hipster, service industry dives in Chez's, Hillsiders, or even Easy Inn but those dives are few and far between in KC anyway. There was lots of sports stuff and generic beer marketing posters everywhere which felt pretty bland. I will say the patio was really nice though and a good patio is always important.Overall, I'd swing by again for a late night slice of pizza and a quick drink at the end of the night. The food was delicious, drinks were alright, service was good, and people were nice enough, atmosphere wasn't for me really. I'd go back for the food, food service, and the patio!“

“Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Whataburger. If you know me, you know I LOVE WHATABURGER, WYNONNA & BABY JESUS! Being someone from the great state of Texas who appreciates good food and great service, I can confidently say that Whataburger's locations across Texas are consistently impressive. However, there is one specific Whataburger, #813 on 15329 Wallisville Rd, that holds a special place in my heart: the one on Wallisville Road. Now, it's not just because of the food that I love this particular Whataburger. It's the three amazing ladies who work there in the morning: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. These ladies are an absolute powerhouse, and they make my experience at Whataburger truly exceptional. Every morning, I visit this Whataburger for breakfast, and I must admit that I look forward to seeing these three wonderful individuals more than I do for my biscuits and gravy. From the moment I walk in, they greet me with warm smiles and make me feel like I am the most important person in the world. They treat me not just as a customer but as a friend. One thing that sets these ladies apart is their genuine friendliness and courtesy. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and valued. Miss Vera, in particular, gives the best hugs that instantly brighten up my day. Their level of service is truly top-notch, and they deserve to be treated like queens. While the food at Whataburger #813 on Wallisville Road is consistently delicious, it is the presence of these three remarkable ladies that truly makes this location stand out. Their dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere is truly commendable. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this Whataburger. Not only will you enjoy a tasty meal, but you will also be greeted by the three queens of Whataburger: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. They are the heart and soul of this location, and they are the reason why I keep coming back.“

“Great burgers, large portions of fries. Staff is usually kind, with the exception of one of the managers. Large woman, tall, brown hair, brown eyes. Don't remember her name. She was rude and just shoved my bag of food at me, said "here". Haven't seen her in there last few times I went. Hope they got rid of her. Really wanting some of those fries now!“

“Some say it's better to do a few things well than many things poorly. Sauced.'s menu lists a couple of spicy chicken sandwiches, a few burger variations, chicken wings, chik bites and a couple of sides. That's it. The spicy chicken is spicy. It's not for me, however my friends who like such things like it. The burger is one of the best in town. The wings are top notch. A note - only outside seating is available. Come hungry.“

“The easy over eggs were perfect. I had a grilled cheddar cheese on rye- again perfect. The service was extremely fast. From order of food to delivery was lighting speed. The decore was nice 60-70sh. I noted a couple of the booths were worn, just added charm as the Beatles and other music charmed as esting the yummy food that was a good price served by a pleasant and very fast wait staff“

“Fritz's is an absolute must in KC. The food is served to your table by trains on the ceiling. It is a magical experience. It is average or maybe slight above average food but for the price it is a great deal!Kid-friendliness: The train theming, train conductor hats, and an overall fun experience makes this a great place to dine with kids.“

“Absolutely amazing fried rice.I ordered the house fried rice+4 wings via online pickup. The wings were good, nothing special, really (I ordered parmesan garlic). However, the fried rice was outstanding. It was, for me, just the way I like fried rice. The interior is pretty small, but there are a few seats.I had no issues ordering online, and it was ready in about 20 min.The price was reasonable for the amount of food I received.Overall, I highly recommend checking them out. They have a pretty large menu, so there are plenty of options. I personally wasn't expecting them to have fried rice, so I had to try it out. Well worth it!“

“Just a good old fashioned diner experience. Belly up to the lunch counter, order, and watch your food be prepared on grill right behind the counter. The cheeseburgers are small (order two) but taste great. They're smash burgers with onions smashed on top. The hashbrowns are the best too. My "usual" is 2 Cheeseburgers with side of hashbrowns. Hayes opened in 1955, I have been eating there since 1974“

“The buffalo chicken cheesesteak for sure. But in general big burgers and like my cheesesteak was falling out of it’s bun and I definitely need a fork and a spoon because I was not going to let what dropped go to waste. It was spicy but not too spicy like I needed a drink but I wasn’t saying oh no it’s too spicy. Perfect level of spicy and delicious.“

“Got a tip that this spot had good milkshakes. I popped in and grabbed one, but also got a burger. The Pure Burger was DELICIOUS! I snagged the Broadway Joe shake and was pleased with it. I prefer a finer blend, but the flavors were good. Very chill spot. Nice for a burger spot. I carried out, but will return to dine in!“

“It was great experience came as a group we all tried it for the first time I got the triple burger it was good but maybe a little overhyped still going to try more of the menu and add more onto this employees really nice and respectful my cup had a hole at the bottom and didn't notice it thought it was part of the condensation but it turned out it wasn't and employee was the one who noticed and Gave me a new cup and apologized for the inconvenience, highly recommended for atmosphere and chilling having a great time with people who care about their service and quality of experience. “If you're coming for bar-b-que, my picky husband said it's some of the very best he's ever had and it would be hard to beat. If you don't eat meat or are a pescatarian like me, this is probably not the place for you. My salad was nothing fancy, very basic, yet was $20. Not worth it at all. But my husband loved this place so much that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The drinks from the bar were good and only $9, which I thought was great compared with so many other places.“

“I would give this a 4.5 stars if I could! The waiter was very friendly. We got the onion ring tower which was great. It came with ranch and their homemade sauce I believe. I got the BLTA croissant sandwich. It caught my eye due to the croissant ? aspect haha. But it wasn’t as delicious as I hoped but it was still really great!! I love the unlimited sides. However the first round of fries barely came with any ?. If you’re gonna do unlimited sides, might as well pile it on the first time lol. There was a lot of broccoli though ?. It was bland but then again, what do you expect with steamed broccoli lololol. Overall decent place!“

“We stayed at a nearby hotel that didn’t have a restaurant, so that’s why we came here. We saw advertised on the menu that the kids meals were free (2 children per adult) if you stayed at the holiday Inn. That was a good deal! We had to pay since we were guests of Fairview Inn, but the kid meals were only $6.00 and included an entree, side, drink and ice cream. I had one of their burgers with a lettuce wrap. It was very good! The onion rings were overcooked, but still acceptable. My meal was $13. The waitress was not overly friendly but the service was quick and she was kind. I would go back here to eat.Kid-friendliness: Free kid meals if you stay at that hotel. Their meals came with ice cream, which the kids obviously loved.“
“Excellent service from Kallina. I had the Shrine burger with Swiss and mushrooms. It was cooked medium well as I asked. Overall a great burger with a home cooked taste. I chose the home style chips as my side. Kallina offered me a drink to go and was all around excellent with her table service. Not many people know the restaurant is open the public. Just be sure your check the hours since they are close on weekends unless a special event is going on as it was today.“

“I loved this random(but always vegan) choice of where to eat while driving through the area. The name struck me cool when it popped up on my Google search for vegan restaurants nearby. Excellent rating. Was a no brainer.Totally wowed by all the factors when I walked in, ordered, waited, and ate. The food was exceptional. Perfect. It sets an unreachable bar. I had the Frito Burrito and Buffalo Cauliflower with possibly the best Buffalo and Ranch Dips ever. Left happy full with plenty of leftovers. From one tree hugger to Tree Hugger, thank you, it was delish, I love your homey place. Y'all deserve awards.“
