“I've been a few times. They are always very speedy in taking my order and getting me my food. I'm thankful for some vegetarian options because I enjoy sushi a lot, but I am allergic to shellfish. The edamame is always very fresh and tastes so green. Veggie sushi has enough variation in the ingredients that it does not become boring after a few bites. I'm always happy to come here.“

“This place is amazing! I love soup dumplings and Tiger Soup Dumplings is a great restaurant to try them. The traditional steamed pork dumplings are my favorite with their rich flavor. The drinks are excellent too and are so flavorful. I will be visiting this place many times. It's a new favorite!“

“Wow! Just wow!!! I'd never had Balkan food before a friend recommended the Balkan Treat Box. I'm so glad they did. I had the Balik Ekmek (#6) which is grilled fish in their Somun (a type of flat bread). The fish of the day was Mahi Mahi which was fantastic, but the Somun made in their oven, pictured below, was equally impressive. I'd been torn between ordering the Balik Ekmek and a special spicy chicken Doner (#3) they had that day. I so enjoyed the Ekmek that I had to order the Doner to try it too. It was really good as well with nice heat from the spice. Be prepared to wait in line, but definitely make a trip to the Balkan Treat Box. The atmosphere is bright and lively though crowded. And the several staff members we interacted with were all amazingly helpful and friendly. Especially Devin, who made our visit just a little more special. I'm from out of town but look forward to returning to the Balkan Treat Box when I'm in St. Louis.“

“I took my 2.5 year old here because she loves cats-we had a great time! A lot of the cats are rescues and need space-I wouldn’t recommend this for grabby kids. The staff is all extremely friendly, we got to give the cats treats, and they are all adoptable! Your ticket price also includes a free cafe drink which is really cool.“

Recently we reserved their front room which holds a max of 16, I believe. They went out of their way to make the setting perfect (even bringing in a small table for our use). Our waiter, Karen, was discreet in providing us perfect service without interrupting our shared conversation/memories as we were toasting a dear friend on her birthday. Food was amazing. I ordered the 12oz bacon wrapped filet, med rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Boyfriend ordered the crab legs, which were okay. The seared tuna appetizer was nice. Drinks were great, ambiance was wonderful. Will come again!“
