“We came to celebrate our best friend getting into law school and starting her journey to becoming a lawyer. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. On top of the food, our server, Rita, was fantastic. She was so attentive. All of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees came out in a timely manner! We will be back for sure!”

“Great, friendly staff! We ordered the Greek Yougurt, with the local fresh strawberries, blueberries, homemade granola and topped with locally sourced honey. It was nice to sit outside. The also have a separate section to eat outside with your dog. You might want to call or order ahead. The line was out the door, but so worth it!”

“Just “found” this place and what a find! Food was wonderful and had great selection. Even had sugar-free syrup. Service was above the norm. Ladies never stopped but always had a smile. Coffee cup never got low and coffee was sooo good. We will definitely be back!”

“I live in New Jersey and came to this place on the way to Florida from New Orleans. This place had some of the best food I ever had. The bartender was super nice and the rest of the crew as well. The cornbread is something I will never forget ,that’s how good it was. I will be coming back to St. Louis just to eat here! “Great service at the window by a younger girl who was super friendly. We tried to go to the one in Bay St. Louis but it was closed we hurried to the one in Waveland. She didn’t bat and eye. An older worker in the back was complaining despite us not going inside and utilizing the drive thru to try to be quicker. The younger worker and the one giving us our ice cream at the third window saved our recommendation! Ice cream was great!”

“Very good old school Chinese food. Won ton soup, shrimp egg rolls and boneless chicken with vegetables were great. Fried rice was off but not bad. My new go to for Chinese on the coast.”

“Stopped by for a cold one after seeing their sign on the highway. Had a great discussion with the owner and locals. Their canine mascot "Go Home" just passed after 15 years and they were celebrating his life. Amazing story- this place has been re-built three times due to the hurricanes. Katrine wiped them out but with their amazing will - they rebuilt again to open in 2008. A must stop - enjoy the southern hospitality and give support to this cool and unique place.”

“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.”

“Delicious!!! Ate there today & everything was fabulous!! I'm not a big fan of Mexican because of Cilantro (I'm one of those that it taste like soap to) & usually stick to taco salad or fajitas. Today I had a combo meal that the only problem with it was I couldn't eat it all in one sitting (and I wanted to & did bring my leftovers home-a 1st again)!! Miss Gina was the perfect waitress..attentive, polite, efficient & bubbly! Thank you El Maguey for a wonderful experience!! I will be back!!”

“Drive thru, 2pm ish (not the lunch rush). Every vehicle had been asked to pull over and wait. I had to drive to the other side of the building where I waited for a sandwich and a side for 10 minutes or more. Once back on the road I find my side of redbeans and no utensils and no napkins.”
