It’s rare to actually find one, and it’s here in Laurel, Ms. We were traveling from Tennessee to Nola, and figured we’d stop here for some lunch. It did not disappoint!!! It’s no different than the meals I would eat in Juarez when visiting and in my home town - also the service is unmatched and it’s close to the freeway. I would definitely be hitting this spot every weekend if it weren’t for the drive. Y’all get you some real Mexican food!”

Great concept. Plenty of shade for outdoor sitting and the pup. Play area for the kids. And food was great. Had the cheeseburger all the way and onion rings.”

Best Po Boys in town, Gumbo to warm your soul, fries are to die for and much more. “It's been my go to place since I was a kid. Every time I am in Laurel, I make a special trip there for a butterscotch milk shake and a chili burger. When I worked at South Central 20 years ago, I always went at least once a week for a fountain Coke and a big hamburger after a long night shift. It was the only place in town with a drive thru to get a burger before 1030. This place never disappoints!”

We ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches one wrap and 3 waters. I don't know what the deal was but it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I finally walked up to check and they were just getting around to it. my son said the kid at the counter had no business dealing with customers. It was unacceptable we should have left but we had already paid and the kids were hungry. We wanted coffee but figured it was a lost cause. Thought you should know”

I was impressed with that, however the menu was hard to decipher and had lil trouble understanding the person taking our order. We did not wait long and everything we needed was in the bag. “Went to celebrate my birthday and had the best steak I think I may have ever had!! It practically melted in my mouth! Started with a spinach salad smothered in hot bacon vinegarette 🤤 I normally don't eat the whole salad so I have more room for dinner but THIS salad... I could have licked the bowl it was so wonderful 😊. With my 8oz filet I had roasted asparagus that was tender and flavorful, while my husband had the 12oz ribeye and fried brussel sprouts that made me wish I had ordered those too. I was so stuffed and I was able to bring some home. I HAD to get the bread pudding to go and haven't tried it yet but it's huge and looks/smells amazing!! Definitely worth making a special trip for on a special occasion, or anytime for that matter!!”

“Had to order lunch for my work crew of 6 and it came quickly and was very hot and delicious and the staff was very nice and polite. The manager, I think her name was Amanda, was nice and helped out whenever we had questions about what all comes on them and the pricing. The lobby was clean and smelled good and everything seemed very good and in order. Alot better of an experience than the Subway by Piggly Wiggly. Honestly, I will never go back to any other subway around here after going there. Very good job to the management and crew. Keep up the hot sandwiches and good work.”

My personal favorite is all chocolate icing but my sweet boy wanted a Spider-Man design and was thrilled when he opened the box to find this. It’s also not uncommon for us to swing by and grab all of the mini critters available in their case. I spent time talking with the cashier and the Manager came over and looked up the ingredients for me to help me decide. I ordered the meat lovers cauliflower crust pizza and they took all the precautions for cross-contamination. I didn't get sick and it was so delicious! The other 4 in my party had calzones and liked it - portions are big. Would eat there again! There are so sweet and accommodating.”

The quality of the sandwich is very good and when you look at what you get compare to other fast food places, this restaurant is the best value and far more healthy for you than any other place.

By now I think we have tried most places in Laurel for a fast lunch and generally we just come back to this place. The place is clean, the extras you get on your sandwich are not frozen (except the meat ball sandwich). It is worth coming to this place.”

The restaurant was very clean and I couldn’t believe the general manager was on night shift. That’s says a lot about management and customer service. The food was fresh and my cashier Amber was very nice and her smile lit up the room. I will definitely return to Hardees on Chantilly Street”

“6/20/26 This morning we went in for breakfast the waitress came over to take our order I told her the table needs to be wiped off first she said that would wiped the table off after she take the order. So she left I told my friend she have no intention of wiping this table off that had sticky stuff all over it. About 45 minutes later she brings food out we told her we didn't want our food sat on a nasty table so lady behind us had just left to keep from cleaning the table where we were sitting at she ask us to move so we did the food was cold. Then a white man came and sit at the table she ask him to move but he wanted that table just like we did cause it was quite behind the door . That lady went back to the registry and stood around playing on phone awhile later a white ldy came and wipe the table off I don't guess there was a supervisor out there if so she was telling them they job. We had to bring half our food home cause it was cold as ice I guess she just let it sit up there. If I go back out there don't want her waiting on me never.”

Ladies and gentlemen, whether you're looking for something good to snack on after a sweltering Sunday church sermon or you're hunting for munchies after visiting the dispensary down the road, look no further.

Las Fresitas is genuinely magic. It's a welcoming, wonderful little Spanish dessert and comfort food shop in our own backyard. It's super clean, fun, fresh, and just an all-around amazing environment.

I got the Fresas con Crema and my wife got the Churro Split, and as we took our first bites, we both felt like we were back on the Caribbean and Mexico cruise we took last year. At one point, we stood in our living room eating the Churro Split in complete silence, close to tears over how good it was.

All of this to say: my wife and I both rate it 5/5, would come again (and would also gladly add 15 pounds of pure churro fat to our midsections).”
