“Ok. I've wanted to write one about this for awhile. Here's the good stuff.
1. The food was great. And I mean great. It was a high end dinner.
2.They had 🍷 ect.
3. Service was fantastic. 10 out of 10
4. Parking was simple and easy.
5. Menu was simple and easy.

Now the bads.
1. Bathroom needs remodeled, ceiling falling. Dirty counters. Very dated.
2. Environment has a bit of a dive feel. Tables arent comfortable.
Chairs aren't comfortable at all.
3.Came here for a buisness dinner and the music was loud . If it was a higher comfort and a bit more classy environment I bet they'll knock it out of the park.

Food was a 10 out of 10. It's good stuff. !!”

“I ordered eggplant parmigiana , hubby spaghetti w/marinara sauce
Eggplant sliced thin , stacked with cheeses and a good basil sauce. Hubby liked his entree, also . Had glaases of pino noir. Generous pours for $8.00. New server. Had a couple questions she couldn't answer but should have asked so she can know for other customers. She was very sweet.”

“The food was great!!! We are passing through from Chattanooga TN to Port Sulfur LA with our boat in tow. It happened to be lunchtime as we were passing through. We noticed most of the places to eat were in town and not really with good reviews. We noticed this place on our maps and decided it was the best place to try out. I'm so glad we did!! Everyone working was super nice. The establishment is very clean. The food was amazing. I ordered a pulled pork salad. Their ranch is homemade. The salad was more than I could eat. My husband ordered at 2, meat plate. I nibbled off of his plate to try out the half chicken and brisket. Omg, AMAZING!! My husband's lucky I was enjoying my salad so much. I had half a mind to take over his plate. Haha, Happy Wife, Happy life.
It's worth the stopp!! We will add it to our places to stop in again when passing through.

Parking: Parking is great if you are pulling a trailer or boat. Easy to get back to the interstate.”

“As my husband and I were traveling to Laurel for work, we were looking for a place to eat. We noticed a small building surrounded by many cars and decided to stop in. We were delighted to have found a wonderful little spot with an exceptionally delicious burger. We both ordered a single cheeseburger, customized to our liking, and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had.”

“This was a must have in laurel. The biscuits and gravy was to die for. The cinnamon rolls taste like heaven. The bacon is like none you have ever had. Mr. Peter was so hospitable to my new husband and I on our honeymoon. Can’t recommend enough.”

“Great place to stay when visiting Laurel! Jennifer and John are wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful while providing a very comfortable and charming atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are cozy and clean. Nice location that's easy to walk to the downtown stores and restaurants. The breakfasts are simply awesome! I highly recommend staying here!

“We hung out there last night.. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. No b.s….. truly a beautiful space and cool vibe…. The bartenders were cool and welcoming the music was AMAZING and the people were all kind interesting and authentic. I met people who displayed class, kindness, inclusion and generosity. It made me sad to leave!!”

“Popcorn shrimp are always over cooked and are like eating little rocks. Steamed shrimp are very difficult to peel to the point I won't even order them anymore. So unless I want chicken strips or fish slivers and cold Fry's and hard hush puppies I won't stop on the few times it is open. Now with that said the girls working the counter are super nice and friendly but the food needs a little help.”

“We were traveling thru Laurel and stopped to eat at a restaurant.The waitress recommended we try this bakery. The place was very clean and had a very large variety of desserts. I got the cheesecake brownie. They were absolutely delicious!! I wish I had gotten a few more. I would definitely recommend trying them to satisfy that sweet tooth. As soon as I walked in a nice man smiled and greeted and before I could plant my behind in a seat, the nice, friendly, pretty young lady bartender greeted me. I was hot and she offered a fan in arms reach. She was very attentive, sweet, and all people here were kind. Prices are more than fair. I'm sure why the locals come here instead of hanging out on the porch. No food, beers are the norm. But I felt great being here. A 2 thumbs up ? ?. They unfortunately don’t have baked BBQ chips online- my favorite, but they do in the store. So I asked them if they could replace them and they happily did! It’s not just this one time thing, either. They do this each and every time with the sandwiches, chips, etc.”

“I’ve eaten there so many times over the years I’ve lost count. Laurel has very little to choose from to begin with so it’s not like there’s any competition locally. I’ve never once got sick, the buffet hasn’t got a large selection but that’s a actually a plus. It’s always fresh. Their fried wontons are like no other in the country, I’ve never eaten one at any other place in several states that even come close.”

“My wife and I drove an hour and a half to try them out. To our delight, the roast beef sandwich was just like it was at the Pasquale's in Jackson, MS, 50 years ago. We found this location had a family connection to the now closed Jackson restaurant and just had to take a chance. Our childhood memories of the homemade Italian bread with the roast beef and gravy came back to life. What a pleasant surprise to find it just as good as we remembered. We will for sure make another day trip back for more good eating.”

“I’m a truck driver, traveling from New Orleans, I stopped by Hardee’s the three ladies they greeted me very nicely. The restaurant was very clean and I couldn’t believe the general manager was on night shift. That’s says a lot about management and customer service. The food was fresh and my cashier Amber was very nice and her smile lit up the room. I will definitely return to Hardees on Chantilly Street”
