The firecracker shrimp is fantastic, with a little spice but not too hot, while the fried green tomatoes are perfectly seasoned and cooked, with a perfect crunch. The crawfish julie sauce gives the dish a perfect kick.
The main dishes include redfish, broccoli, and salad, which is cooked to perfection, and a 1/2 filet 1/2 shrimp dish with fries, hushpuppies, and cheese grits. The redfish is seasoned well, and the broccoli is not soggy nor undercooked. The 1/2 filet 1/2 shrimp dish is also cooked well, and the cheese grits are delicious.
The restaurant also offers a crab burger with sweet potato fries, which is a hamburger with a crab cake on top. The crab cake is savory, and the pickles, remoulade sauce, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato all combine to make a perfect comfort food meal.
The prices are reasonable, and the cleanliness, quality, and service are all excellent, earning the restaurant a perfect 5-star rating. However, there is always room for improvement, and the hushpuppies were overcooked, and there were some issues with the presentation of the crab burger and fries. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, and both reviewers plan to return to try more of the menu.
