“I loved everything about this establishment. The only complaint I have is the hostess took a call and proceeded to engage whoever was on the phone leaving use standing without be addressed for several minutes. Aside from that everything else was TOP TIER!!! This is A new favorite spot to dine. Everything we ate was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The service provided by Amanda was phenomenal, she was very attentive and oh so kind. The staff engaged often with the customers making sure all was well throughout the course of dinning. We started with the eggplant and shrimp and grits both were amazingly delicious! Followed by the house salad and bread and then our entrees....I had the Redfish 😋and my daughter chose the Salmon. Both were superb!”

“We went there for an anniversary dinner with no reservation prior to arrival. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was wonderful. We ordered the Beef Tips and Redfish Almondine. Spectacular meal…!!! It was a wonderful experience 👍”

“On May 25th we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely go back but I do not want Adam as my waiter ever again. The issue that I have with Adam as our waiter is this. When he passed by our table my husband put his finger up letting him know that we needed him. He brushed my husband off and told him that he would be back and he went on to other tables. When he finally came back through he didn’t stop like he said he would he passed by our table and went to another table. At first I was like ok but it kept happening. And every time Adam passed by he looked right at me in my eyes. So now we’re ready to go so we’re waiting and waiting because he told us that he would be back. Well when he came back he passed us up again and eventually my husband had to stop him and give him the check. We gave him our payment with a $20 tip but at first I wasn’t going to leave one but I said no I’m gonna do what’s right. But now I regret even leaving it. After he walked off we waited and waited and I noticed him walking to another table he looked me right in my eyes. And my thought process was like ok we gave him the money now clear us out so we can go. Another waiter walked by because he noticed me looking for our waiter we told him what was going on and we asked him if he can let Adam know to please give us our receipt. Adam then walked straight from the table where the other customer was and gave us our receipt. I thought to myself he had it on him all this time why did he let us wait this long to give us the receipt we could’ve been gone? I was going to make a complaint when I walked out but I was like no I’m going to write a review because I was ready to go because I was very irritated at this point.”

“My very first time in and I didn't know what I really wanted. The associate that I took for as management was very helpful with helping me decide. I took pictures to show the freshness! I loved it and I will be back. Also got me signed up to receive money to apply to a future meal. The broccoli ? salad was great!”

“Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!”

The food was freshly made and the flavor was beyond any expectation we could have imagined. Take it from someone who has dined in more than 25 foreign countries and all over the USA, this place has the ABSOLUTE best central and south American food in the state of MS, and possibly the entire south! 100% recommend without any reservations at all.. **NOTE, do not go here if you are an atmosphere snob! It is very much relaxed, and family centered with wonderful people running it. It is similar to an old country store with some tables and chairs. Try the Pupusas and the Jimaica tea, (hibuscus flower tea). you will not be disappointed in the flavors or the genuine people running this place.”

Bulldog Burger nails the smash burger game with crispy edges, juicy middle, perfectly messy. The sweet potato fries? Addictive. Fried pickles? Gone before I could share.

Service was quick and friendly (our kids were actually happy, which says a lot). The outdoor seating has TVs for the games, so it’s basically the ideal low-stress dinner spot for parents trying to survive the weekend.

It’s a little pricey for what it is, but you can taste the quality. Worth it when you want that “we’re not cooking tonight” kind of night.”

“I ordered a cake and chocolate covered strawberries for a baby shower on April 12, 2025. The cake was so beautiful, and the taste was just as great!! Unfortunately, I personally was not able to take pictures of the cake. Along with her establishment, Chanel was very sweet and kind, adding to the warmth felt from her establishment which is beautifully decorated. I will definitely be ordering cakes from her, especially other sweets from the great variety she offers!

I was greeted promptly and offered a seat at the bar, and while I didn't order any special drinks, the bartender was very nice and made sure I had enough water to drink.
I ordered the Broken Egg Biscuit, which was the right choice - a delicious biscuit that exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this location.”

“Another 5 star Tammie? Come on. Can it be that good? Yes. Yes it can. I passed this place on the way to get my windshield replaced. That was a nightmare. A review for another time but once I left the glass place I needed comfort food. I love kebab. A friend was married to an Iranian guy and I got hooked on kebab, basmati and warm flatbread. I go in prepared to break my no flour program but I saw the salads and realized that I wasn’t going to let the poor customer service experience at the glass place let me make bad choices. I was greeted by the sweetest young lady who offered to make recs for me before she left for my tea. I ordered the Lulu Greek salad add chicken shwarma. I asked her to keep the pita bread. Insert me sobbing here. It was hard but I did it. Man was that salad phenomenal. Chicken breast that had a nice crust on it but was not dry. Crisp vegetables. A delicious oil and vinegar based dressing. So much food. Excellent service. Very clean. Mediterranean music playing very low in the background. I cannot wait to return and try kebab with warm pita, rice and hummus but today my blood sugar thanked me for the good choices”

“A few of my coworkers go here 2-3 times a week for lunch. I kept hearing good things so I gave it a try for dinner one Sunday. OMG!!! I had been missing out for real. The food is so good and the portions are HUGE! I couldn’t hardly decide what to get as my first meal. Now, I can’t wait to try more on the menu. This will definitely be one of my regular places for a good meal. The service was on point as well. The staff was friendly and I paid by card, and was even addressed by name when wishing me a good day as I was leaving…very nice touch.”

“This was my second time trying boba and it was just ok as a kid but I have absolutely fallen in love with King Kong ! My favorite is honey dew , matcha, and I just tried the watermelon! “I was driving my way into Mississippi to visit family and my sister asked me to pick up a cake, I randomly stumbled across this bakery because it was open late and it was on my way to her house. There were only a couple cakes left of the day and I was helped by the sweetest ladies and gentleman that could speak a little English. I Honestly thought the cakes that were displayed were fake because they were so beautiful and perfect. We celebrated his Birthday that night and it was the best cake I have EVER HAD!! Sitting outside and enjoying a meal, I will definitely be back! Less than 50 dollars to feed three people and we are so stuffed we won’t need to eat again today. It was more than worth it!”

That said, when I typically go to one I'm either pleased or disappointed because Subway franchises are notoriously inconsistent, even as a single store. Yet I have never been disappointed coming to this one. I work nearby so I come here often because it's a relatively decent meal for not a terrible price, and the staff knew exactly how I wanted my sandwiches within just a couple of days. That's a level of service I don't get very often, which is awesome. They're always very nice and they do a great job. I will definitely be returning, and I'm very glad to buy sandwiches from this franchise.”

“To be honest, i wanted some wing, and this place popped up, I've been there twice in 1 week on my lunch break just because of the wings!! I got the salt and pepper chicken wings and fries a few days went back to try the lemon pepper wings they were good but a little too salty for me. But I can't hold 1 flavor against them. I haven't tried anything else from the menu at this time it's only drive-thru, no eating inside, but I will try them out eventually.”

“Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.”
