“The cook was on point Saturday, March 28. The shrimp and grits got me in my feelings, I’m still tickled. They were PERFECT. The kids chicken was THE BOMB. The pasta dishes were all of that. All of the dishes were served with professionalism, joy and he presented himself like he really likes his job. The food was hot and I’m sure because he didn’t linger. Once they were up-they were out. “Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!”

“Cook of the Walk delivers some of the best fish and greens I’ve had in a while. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the greens were full of flavor like they were made with care. On top of that, the service was excellent—friendly, quick, and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!”

“This place reminds me of a Patrick Swayze movie Roadhouse. It's kind of a dive bar with multiple bands I'm fairly cheap alcohol prices. I was a little worried when I went there on a Friday night and they patted me down. I wondered what kind of a crowd required a pat down. Either way it was a fun time, and I didn't spend a lot of money on average five for beers, or drinks or shots.”

“Five stars because this place is celiac friendly. They have a dedicated fryer for the corn chips, and they use corn starch instead of flour to thicken their queso. This is great because I can never have the chips and salsa at other restaurants! It made me feel very included at dinner with friends. Their Mexican rice tastes very white washed, so I just get the nachos every time. Those are bussin! The margaritas WORK girl! Great margs!”

Take it from someone who has dined in more than 25 foreign countries and all over the USA, this place has the ABSOLUTE best central and south American food in the state of MS, and possibly the entire south! 100% recommend without any reservations at all.. **NOTE, do not go here if you are an atmosphere snob! It is very much relaxed, and family centered with wonderful people running it. It is similar to an old country store with some tables and chairs. Try the Pupusas and the Jimaica tea, (hibuscus flower tea). you will not be disappointed in the flavors or the genuine people running this place.”

The hummus and pita were so good. I have definitely found a place I will be going back to multiple times a week.”

I ordered a cocktail which took a long time to get to me because they only had one person working the bar, it was so delicious I didn't even care! The food also took a long time to get to us, but once again, it was so delicious that I didn't even care. Get the gouda bacon grits, they are devine.”

“If you know you know! This place is a hidden gem in plain site on a main street none the less. Honey baked ham is some of the best and most popular succulently made holiday pork you will ever have the pleasure to put in your mouth. What I did not know till recently is they are open year round and have deli's in their locations. Today was my first time going to this location and definitely won't be my last. They have a large selection of sandwiches salads desserts side dishes and soups among many other things. The food was excellent. The service just as much so or more. The atmosphere was nice could use a bit of a look into taking it next level such as booths and a little more of a comfortable restaurant feel. It felt a little off in the design and set up to have fresh cut flowers on every table but all your tables and chairs have a hard wood country style diner eat and get out furniture vibe that makes it feel less comfortable than it could be but not in any way the great customer service doesn't make up for.. Rhonda who seemed to be the manager was very helpful in suggestions and selections. Troy who was the cook was very skilled and also very full of suggestions of things to try next time. Price wise they are affordable but they definitely price their food like everyone knows their name. Two combo meals was 30 dollars. All in all this is a great place to get something good to eat but be ready to pay or go cheaper by ordering a la carte.”

Other than that as I mentioned the salad was DELICIOUS.”

“This place was great to visit. It took the cashier a while to get to engage but when she did her customer service was great.

The mochinut donuts was delicious and not too sweet. The Korean Dogs was so good and fried crispy, and I could not believe the cheese pull that came from it. Although I did not care for the flaming hot one it was greasy and not spicy at all. So, I would not suggest that kind.

If you are a Anime fan or a K Pop fan this is definitely the spot for you.”

You would be absolutely amazed! The hangery burger? Three Patties! The Shrimp Poboy? Filled to bursting! And my Burrito Loco had real steak in it and not the cheap stuff either. It was. Astounding. Sitting outside and enjoying a meal, I will definitely be back! Less than 50 dollars to feed three people and we are so stuffed we won’t need to eat again today. It was more than worth it!”

“Honestly, I like Subway. I like the customization and the amount of fresh vegetables I can stack on a sandwich without getting charged extra. That said, when I typically go to one I'm either pleased or disappointed because Subway franchises are notoriously inconsistent, even as a single store. Yet I have never been disappointed coming to this one. I work nearby so I come here often because it's a relatively decent meal for not a terrible price, and the staff knew exactly how I wanted my sandwiches within just a couple of days. That's a level of service I don't get very often, which is awesome. They're always very nice and they do a great job. I will definitely be returning, and I'm very glad to buy sandwiches from this franchise.”

I wanna give a big shout out to Luis. He was very customer service friendly, and assured that our meals were cooked to perfection. Luis also taught us a few fun facts about Waffle House that we never knew.

Our female server was also very kind and sweet and was looking out for us tremendously. It did not go unseen.

Lastly, the food was awesome. It was made with love and soul.
