“Full disclosure. This restaurant is owned by students of mine. That being said, I was very pleased with the whole experience. The restaurant decor is new and so well designed. It has a very intimate feel about it. The service was so friendly and thorough. The food was awesome. We had the mushroom appetizer and I had the Lamb Biryani entree. The presentation was very professional. I couldn't eat all of my entree. I had to take some home. The prices are very reasonable. I was there with two colleagues and they too were very pleased with our experience. Our only cautionary comment is that the menu was difficult to read. More contrast is needed for the print. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.”

Authentic food that you quite literally cant find anywhere else in town and as a lover of asian foods I appreciate them so much! Aside from the amazing foods for when youre not looking for a filling meal, theres the quick cafe options for smooth, delicious coffees and baked goods. They really do have it all in one stop. “A HUGE HUGE MASSIVE HIT for Carrabba’s tonight. We went for supper and the food was amazing, everything was so good and flavourful. The biggest hit was the service. They were incredibly kind and accommodating. I have Vocal Cord Dysfunction and perfume/strong scents are huge triggers and they sat us away from everyone and when people came in sat them away from us as best as they could. At the end a large group came in and sat near us and the perfume was wafting (I put my mask on, was done eating). They came over and apologized and offered to move us which wasn’t necessary as we were done. They really were wonderful. Of course I know they can’t control people wearing scents but they did their absolute best to help me have a very enjoyable and safe meal out for my birthday. A huge thank you to all the staff at Carrabba’s tonight. You guys are amazing!!!”

If you’re looking for a cozy cafe spot, I highly recommend stopping in. The lattes and baked goods are great as well especially the Nanaimo bars and the brownies.”

Firstly, the location of the restaurant was perfect, being conveniently close to the downtown area and within walking distance – a definite plus. The ambience of the place was pleasant, and the staff provided exceptional service. Our server went above and beyond to ensure our experience was delightful. Now, let's talk about the food – the quality was truly excellent, especially the Fish Tikka masala and Tandoori chicken, which we absolutely loved. We're already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to moncton, and we won't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to our friends as well. Admittedly, the prices were a bit higher compared to regular restaurants, but we firmly believe that every penny was worth it. “First visit & wont be our last! Kevin was our waiter. He was awesome! Top tier services. Everything came out in a timely manner as well. My fiancé got the New York Strip and it was cooked perfectly. I got the nachos, and they were very good as well. It was his birthday so they came out with some yummy complimentary ice cream style cake for him as a dessert at the end. It was soooo good! No complaints.”

Everything is so good, you can’t go wrong with whatever they recommend - Thang always describes the food/flavours super accurately, which is really helpful if you’re indecisive or curious to try something new! I definitely recommend the Moncton location for the warm and friendly service, they consistently go above and beyond to create the best experiences! 🙂 The beverages are some of our favourites, but honestly everything is amazing. They make a lot of stuff themselves, like broths and various sauces. Thang is super enthusiastic about the authentic cuisine that he and his family make, you can tell they really want to share their passion for food with everyone! They seem to put a lot of effort into their menu and having a good variety! 🙌 Just maybe prepare for a food coma, because it’s hard not to get everything on the menu! 👌”

The rapee pie had this crispy edge on the bottom that I have never gotten right at home, and the poutine gravy was rich without being heavy. Lighting near the front window was perfect for a few shots of the food before it got demolished. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us even though we lingered with the camera out for a bit.”

“Had a meet-up meeting at Bar 55, located in the lobby of the Canvas Hotel on Queen Street.
The space is set up like a large living room with comfortable armchairs and plenty of light coming through the glass entrance doors. There is some large abstract art on the walls that gives the room a nice look. I also spotted some board games in the corner, I didn't check to see which ones they were, but it’s a nice touch for the space. I had a hot chocolate, which came in a blue ceramic mug. It was a relaxed and quiet spot to sit and talk.

“What can I say about Ed's Subs? Well for one, they have an AMAZING poutine! My regular go to spot! If you want to get your fill, try the Ed's steak and pepperoni sub. It's packed with so much meat and cheese that you'll need to stretch your jaw to get a bite on that thing lol. Definitely worth stopping in, you won't regret it (but you may need to wear comfy pants afterwards 🤣).”

“This is a great place to eat, they have various different noodle dishes, they also have butter chicken and other things like that.
The food was delicious, although when you get a medium for spice level, it is really medium. So if you're ordering something for the first time and you're not sure what spice level to go with, I would go with a mild unless you're used to spice.
