“I'm pretty well traveled and can safely say this is the best burger I have had in 26 years of life (Wagyu Burger).Even though I got take out, the food was still warm and perfectly constructed. I don't know what specifically about it is making me have this reaction, but honestly well done“

“Just, WOW! I was in town for a cycling event and happened on this sundries shop for breakfast. Go for a morning coffee and veggie quiche, but stay for the service. The cashier (perhaps the owner) was so encouraging and supportive as I was obviously about to go on a bike ride and my server was so sweet. The eating area is exceptionally clean and very inviting. I could sit in a relaxing chair catching up on morning news while watching others sharing quiet conversations around the rest of the restaurant. Thank you, Albemarle, for being so welcoming to 1000 strangers.“
“Went for the 1st time with my mother for lunch and I must say that they did not disappoint. The service was great as well as the food. I will most definitely be going back. I did not get a chance to try the highly recommended pie ? but I will the next time I stop to eat lunch.“

The owner is very welcoming and personally takes interest in making sure you’re catered to. Got confused cos now the name has been changed (most likely with change of ownership). “We have been a handful of times now.I really enjoy the Phillicheese steak with jalepenos. My husband has tried the burger with the chili and liked it.Favorite part is the milkshakes. The cherry one had a ton of cherries in it, and the bacon peanut butter is heavenly.“
“Service and food were good. The place was dirty,such as menus could of been wiped down and doors coming into the place, which were all fingerprinted up. Instead of the hostess standing around, maybe she could have wiped menus down and cleaned glass.“
“I was recommended by a co-worker so we stopped on our lunch break I had the flounder with fries and coleslaw the food was hot and fresh just how I like it the only drawback was that the fish and fries needed season and the coleslaw taste like it was just made and had not marinated because the mayonnaise flavor was over powering. Sorry no photos I only had 30 minutes left on my lunch break. But I will return again ?“
“Awesome lunch.My grandfather has recently been in and out of hospital and loves seafood. We arrived in Albemarle at lunchtime to visit Blue Bay but it was unfortunately closed (Saturday they aren't open for lunch) so we decided to try this place, Harmancos. We were all very pleased with our meals and appetizers. The blooming onion and the hamburger steak was great. The green beans tasted like they were made with love (and bacon fat lol). Our server was a young man I can't remember his name but he was A1, our drinks were always topped off and he was very kind, accommodating, and attentive. Best service I've had in a long time at any restaurant. We were one of the only tables in there but I still was astonished at the great service. Two different people (I'm assuming owner and manager) came out to check on us on two separate occasions, you can tell they are passionate about their business and it shows. I will definitely be back next time we're in town. Only complaint is they were out of mashed potatoes but as we were finishing our meal I heard the kitchen staff saying the mashed potatoes were ready so that just means they make it fresh from scratch (maybe daily) which is awesome.“
