“Dobra Tea is one of my favorite places in Asheville! The atmosphere is incredible and it is my favorite place to relax and read. I love the tea here and there is any type of tea you could want. The little snacks are pretty good, especially the hummus. The treats are quite good for gluten free desserts. I highly recommend dobra tea.“
“Some of the best Thai food in Asheville! We typically get pad Thai, panang curry, and drunken noodles and all of it is consistently great. Would highly recommend for takeout. The restaurant is small so can sometimes be tricky to get a seat. Would definitely recommend as a Thai food lover!Vegetarian options: All options are available with a variety of proteins including vegetarian options.“
“This was a party for the tongue! The reuben with tempeh was really flavorful and the ensalada tostada with creamy chipotle dressing was yummy as well! Wish I could have tried more meals here! The service was a little slow though (getting our order in and receiving the food and later the bill took a while). Still 5 stars because the food was so good!Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian ❤️“
“Stippednin for lunch without planning and was overjoyed at how delicious the food was. The string bean dish was our favorite. Simple but done right. All of the food we sampled was wonderful and delicious and our waitress Jes was sweet and amazing. Would definitely eat here again and again.“
“Have the beet salad and it was extremely delicious! The tea was well served, hot and very good. We sat on cushions with a small table in front of you, very cozy. I would definitely return. My four star on service was because it was pretty slow, but everyone is shorthand these days.“
“Great vibes and good food! I stopped in for brunch and sat at the bar - the girl working the bar was super friendly and helpful, great service. Ordered the “Bow to the King” biscuit French toast with fried chicken and homemade whipped cream - the French toast biscuits were so clever and quite tasty! The fresh whipped cream was great too. I though the fried chicken strips were a bit average though, and a bit of a skimpy portion compared to the biscuits.Overall a good meal though, would go back.“
“Passing through on our way to Fayetteville and wanted a spot where we could all find something we liked, and wouldn't all be totally weighed down. In the hallway you can see all the magazines they've been written up in and I would concur. Something for everyone. I loved that you could order breakfast or lunch. We got: Bow to the king, pancakes, chicken bacon sandwich, spinach & potato pancakes, tofu scramble, and the southwestern omlette. Also a side of hot honey carrots and cinnamon apple slices. Loved the list of sides you could add to anything. The chicken - they do it right, so good! A nice light non-greasy coating. Everyone was happy with thier selection. The spinach potato pancakes was creamy and fluffy. The jam on the table was outstanding. I liked that nothing was overly sweet like many places you find in the south. Would def recommend the apples. Lots of seating in front and back of the restaurant. And both our server and what I presume to be the owner stopped by the table asking how it was and what they could do to make it better. I told him I'd give it 4 stars because I never (or very rarely give 5) so he wanted to know what would make me give it a five. Small things but would go back!“
“I've eaten here twice, and both were great experiences. I had whatever was on their daily special both times and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Even my husband makes a sacrifice of the meat in his meal to come here with me. For me, Green Light Cafe combines no nonsense cooking with some really creative ideas. I feel happy, well-fed and healthy when I leave here, and the staff has been very friendly every time.“
“We absolutely love this place. We always visit them whenever we are in Asheville. We recommend sitting at the counter. The counter will allow you to be entertained by the staff. We hung out with Derek this time. He is an amazing chef. There's nothing like watching an artist at work.“
