“Mint is the best restaurant in the Boone/Blowing Rock area! The food is fantastic, most ingredients from India. Cucumber salad and hot cauliflower appetizer, the saag options are all amazing. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. Aman is the best. He remembers us and makes us feel special plus he makes the most delicious drink - Mango Mojito. Atmosphere is nice, and to top it all off it’s a great value.“

“Had an amazing Asiago Rosemary bagel today. Definitely one of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Also tried chocolate chip cookie and a brown butter toffee cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was good but the brown butter cookie was to die for!!! Highly recommend.“

“We got take out to take back to our AirBnB to spend time with family. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the online ordering was easy. We got to try 6 different pizzas in only 3 by using the half-and-half feature and that was great to please the 9 people we had. Will definitely eat here again when in Boone!“

“We're always satisfied when we leave Boonshine. We got seats at the bar. The food was great. Pretzel was hot and delicious! The hot chicken sandwich was delicious! My husband still talks about the great Brussels sprouts. And of course the beer was delicious and cold!“

The service was great and the food was exactly what we wanted.We ordered the classic Italian and BLT sandwiches and they definitely hit the spot! We drank the fresh squeezed lemonade with was tart and refreshing. “The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. We almost got the stuffed mushrooms because they sounded so good, but we decided on the arancinis. Wow! Very delicious. I had the chicken florentine over angel hair pasta and salad with the sweet basil vinaigrette dressing. My husband had the chicken marsala over linguine and salad. We were both very impressed. For dessert, I had the cannoli and he had the cheesecake with strawberry topping, also excellent. By that time we were stuffed and happy. Our server was attentive and more than competent. The building looks like a log cabin and has low lighting and black tablecloths, giving it an old-world Italian feel. Note that there's an upstairs dining area requiring a lot of steps, so you may need to request ground floor seating in your reservation based on your physical needs. We wore jeans and nice shirts, but there were people dressed nicer and also more casual than us. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Boone.“

They're the right amount of crunchy, spicy, and sweet...and when you eat one you're going to SCREAM about how amazing they are!!! Go to Coyote before they sell out of them! GOOD: spring rolls, green curry with steam chicken, papaya salad (would have liked a touch more lime and palm sugar), kow man kai (similar to katsu with no bbq sauce). Fair: Thai coffee (I think I just like Vietnamese style better). Pass: sushi. We got angry tuna and saibeng roll (seaweed salad didn't taste fresh). Both rolls were just too heavy on rice for me.“

“I was very disappointed. Usually their pizza is excellent this was over cooked and not well made. We ordered it from a delivery service have my granddaughter got a flat bread pizza that she couldn’t even eat she said it was disgusting. Just a suggestion maybe you want to use the mini chocolate chips in your cannolis I think they would be much better than trying to eat the big ones with the cheese mixture. At least they were good. Their house vinaigrette was very good at least I enjoyed the salad!“

“Great food! We split the Philly steak sandwich and wings. Both were great! Our bartender Chelsea, was fantastic, we never waited or had to get her attention; great service and she was personable and managed the full bar without an issue. NFL! We were traveling, stopped in to catch a Steeler game and they were televising all NFL games. We recommend and would come back.“

“I have so many positives I could scream about this place, but my server (Scott) is by far the biggest praise I could give out. He was excellent all the way through our visit, and always made sure drinks were filled. His attitude was absolutely stellar, and he deserves high praises for his hard work !! As far as the food, I was absolutely blown away (and it wasn't just the weather) by the quality of the of each meal. All food was warm, comforting, and really brought a happy feeling to my spirit. The Catfish was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. The environment was so comforting, and I felt very at home even as I'm not from here, and overall my experience was superb!“
