“Fantastic family find. Great southern food with a flair. Whoever thought to do a collard greens egg roll? The special of salmon cakes, broccoli casserole, and carrot cake was right out of my mother's cookbook. (She just couldn't make that good of carrot cake) we loved it.“

The menu is a great combination of traditional and trendy dishes ranging from the Pancakes, the Waffles, the Biscuits, the French Toast, or one of my favorites- Eggs Benedict. The espresso coffee is to die for, if you are into the espresso coffee, of course. The orders always come out on time and the staff is always welcoming and polite. “A fun atmosphere with great food and the kids loved the coloring books.Kid-friendliness: The place has a lively atmosphere so normal children noise is perfectly acceptable. They also have coloring pages and crayons for the kids and high chairs. I had all five grandchildren with me and everyone did great.“

“Segrue’s hosted my job’s employee Christmas party! It was my second time coming to Segrue’s. The staff made the party such a wonderful experience from start to finish. It was a packed house, and the service was always incredibly fast. The bartenders are some of the nicest people ever and had so much care and hospitality in their hearts. They regularly came and checked on us, no matter how busy it was. And the food was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and eat those Philly egg rolls again.There’s pool, darts, a lovely outside area, and truly something for everyone here. “I have eaten here numerous times and enjoyed it every time. You can never go wrong with the Cuban sandwich. The energy in the restaurant is great, and it looks like others are enjoying it, too. There are always events on the many TVs and the onsite games a a definite plus. Every server I have had has been knowledgeable , friendly and you look forward to seeing them again.“

“After a long day boating we went here for dinner and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend the fried ravioli and the shrimp basket. My family members had nachos, cheeseburger, beef tips, and prime rib. “This was wifes and i first vist to this bistro. I wanted to celebrate my wifes birthday and could not thank the great staff for a fabulous dinner. Having been raised in 4 italian resturants in the Philadelphia and south Jersey area, I found this almost like home. We were greeted with a great host , she ask if we had made reservation, but we did not. but she accommodated us with a smile. We were directed to our table and as soon as we were seated a bus girl by the name of crystal greeted us and very politely ask if we needed anything. She in turn delivered a nice warm bread plate. We both found the homemade bread perfectly done, crusty outside and soft and warm inside. Our waitress Mariah greeted us and politely as our selection of drinks. The wine we ordered , very fruity and semi-dry , which is the way we both like it. We have a small winery up north so iam very particular about wines. The food was presented to us, plates were full and appetizing. My wife opted for penne alfredo with shrimp and i opted for seafood over risotto. The gravy, as we call it in Philadelphia, was just perfect sweet and tasteful. We were not rushed even though the entire resturant was full. “My 'rents (now mid-70's) have been doing the Carolina S*** for near 30 years. While I had experienced places like Fat Harold's with them, my husband and teen son had not (though have heard about it for years). Finally had the chance to take my hubs and kid to see my father dance (mom passed a couple years ago). Not sure what they were expecting, but they were pretty shocked at the abundant crowd and great energy Fat Harold's puts out! If you're the jealous type, either leave it at the door or don't come. You and/or your date are likely to be asked to dance. Not because you're oh so sexy, but because . . . WHY NOT? If you're between 25 and 110 years old, go in with a smile and fun attitude, you'll enjoy yourself here! At the front of FH's is a diner-type place with 4 or 5 booths where you can get a pretty good burger, fries, coke, and look around at all the near-museum history pieces. Follow that up by going into the next area and ordering an adult beverage or two. Have a seat (you might have to wait a few min and be speedy, but you'll get one) and just watch. Seeing all these folks 50+ having a good time and smiling is just good for the soul. Strike up a conversation with the person next to you. "How long you been shaggin'? Where did you learn?" It sounds silly to you, but you're likely to get an earful and be asked if you'd like to learn. (Your answer should be "SURE!") But if not, go on into the back room where the dance floor and bar are less crowded, and the dancers are less experienced. Repeat steps for prior room. You'll leave North Myrtle Beach being able to do "basic" and able tell all your friends back home "I learned how to s***** (at least vertically).“

“this waffle house and all other waffle houses are absolutely incredible!!!! me and my wife came here on Christmas and we truly felt like santa was real that night with the amount of christmas spirit in this cozy little waffle home. the service and food was amazing and the waffle i got with chocolate chips reminded me of when i believed sandra was real. the light bulbs were all colored for the holidays which was gorgeous just like the amazing people who work here. maybe almost as gorgeous as my wife. nah probably not but i still am in love with this waffle home!! i always make sure to visit waffle homes every time i am on vacation such as when i was in charleston, savannah, atlanta, charlotte, and more. and even on my darkest days i still feel welcomed here. i've also came with my best friends and we enjoyed the music player. one of them even shouted out to the whole restaurant about how nice it is. anyways i appreciate everyone working together to make this waffle house a waffle home and i will definitely visit again very, very soon.“
