“An absolute gem nestled in the world of divine desserts! I was gifted the heavenly pies in a jar, courtesy of my amazing mother for Christmas, and let me tell you, the apple pie in a jar was a slice of pure joy! A flavorful treat.I must confess, the other pie vanished in a blink, complemented perfectly by those delectable parmesan cheese straws. The Worthy Baker makes sure that folks receive a fabulous and delightful dessert.Consider me a devoted fan for life! The Worthy Baker's scrumptious offerings have won my heart, and I can't wait to indulge in their other delightful creations. Thank you for making every bite a moment to cherish!“
“I pass this place driving my daughter to school every day and decided to stop there a few months ago. Now I'm hooked and stop almost weekly! Their quiches are my favorite and it's almost an expectation that my daughter gets some cinnamon roll each time we stop by (They are huge! Perfect splitting size!). The service is so friendly and quick. I'm so happy to find a regular to-go breakfast place of this quality!“
“This little bakery has all kinds of amazing, delicious treats and breads. And the folks there get to know you & treat you really well every time. They're open very limited hours and will run out of goodies quickly, so get there before 10. We love this bakery & highly recommend it!“
“Wow, 4.9/5 and im not surprised. First time in today and the barista was very friendly, explained some menu items they had for us and they offer some amazing in-house flavor options and great tasting lattes. Very creative, only thing was small interior seating. This place tops my list as of now for coffee shops in asheville.“
“The chef collaborations and upcoming events at Ivory Road are a foodies paradise! The space was recently updated. It's cozy and welcoming. Each space, in the home turned restaurant, offers community seating with exceptional service for a one of a kind experience. Stay tuned for their new offerings and curated menus. Brunch yesterday was next level. Thank you chef's TT and Jill.“
“Wendi at Butterbugs Baked Goods made our wedding cake dreams come true! She truly outdid herself! What a joy to work with her! The cake was absolutely incredible- from looks, to design, to taste! The taste was delicious (wedding cake flavor), the cake was moist, and the icing and raspberry filling were AMAZING! I would 1000/10 recommend her! You will not be disappointed! Just do it! Oh, and let’s not forget her incredible cookies we had for favors! They were a huge hit! We did chocolate chip and oatmeal ! I had a family member ask where the oatmeal cookies were from because “it was one of the BEST oatmeal cookies he’d ever had.”! Thank you so much Wendi!“
“Since my favorite cookie company in Asheville is closed, Crumbl has become my favorite cookie in town. They have an excellent selection of flavors. The cookies are fresh and the staff is friendly. It is super easy to get in and out of the location and it is very centrally located.Parking: Ample parking.“
“Atmosphere is cute and cozy. They have chill music playing. All types of people come in here which is nice to see! Seems to be a local favorite spot. The lavender latte and cappuccino were both great. We tried one of the chocolate croissants which they make in house. It is one of the best ones I've had that I haven't made myself. It had awesome texture and was a delight to dip into perfect latte foam. The food is good. It's all fresh and nutritious. I appreciate the thought that went into creating the menu and dishes. It is a few steps above regular "diner food" or your average cafe food.“
“Expensive, but one of the best unique bakeries in the world. Pretzel was meh to us, although it gets a lot of great reviews. But the Focaccia bread is to die for. We tried the olive & something focaccia and the orange, creme friche and pistachio focaccia. You've never ever had focaccia like the ones baked at Mother!“
“We had the most delightful experience here. We got to enjoy the most delicious food in an inviting fresh environment. Our server, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and warm; added to the experience. We would highly recommend visiting here and we would definitely come back.“
“Really cool spot to go and grab coffee and some tasty desserts. Nice gluten free and vegan options which is great for me and my wife. We've been here several times and will continue to visit. If you're looking for tasty dessert gluten free and vegan options, this is a great “
“Their German Butter Stollen was the absolute best I’ve ever had! I grew up eating Stollen shipped from Germany and this is by far the best tasting, freshest and authentic stollen found on US soil. I haven’t set foot in their bakery location, so I can’t comment there. I plan to stop in next time I’m in the area.Dietary restrictions: Natural ingredients!“
“What a pleasant surprise to find Sunshine Sammies wine visiting Asheville! Enjoyed one of the best tasting strawberry creams I’ve had between warm, freshly baked sugar cookies. I’m usually a waffle cone person so I had to try eating the ice cream sandwich without it dripping everywhere - challenge accepted! Also my wife’s gluten-free peanut butter cookie was ?Will be back!“
“perfection. delicious croissants, coffee, and bread. if you love classic laminated pastry and sourdough you absolutely must try OWL. one of the best in the southeast for sure. i only wish there were a few more spots inside to sit & enjoy!“
“Small cakes for the win! My family was staying in Black Mountain between Christmas and New Years and my husband’s birthday is on New Year’s Eve. He loves German Chocolate cake and the German Restaurant didn’t have it and the cupcake shop was closed til February. Thank you Google for directing me to Smallcakes pre ordered the night before. Order was ready at pickup time and the gentleman running counter was super nice and helpful. Red Velvet and the German Chocolate were the favorites!“
“Perfect place for coffee and bagels before a busy day. This is a true espresso experience—first time I’ve seen a cortado on a menu since I was the one making them—so don’t expect Starbucks style macchiatos. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re staying at the Renaissance hotel (it’s a five minute walk away).“
“Great coffee and chai. Amazingly fast for the quality. Every barista I encountered was friendly and skilled. The art is quality and affordable. The vibe is uniquely edgy yet inviting. My favorite coffee bar I found in Asheville. I visited a few times- all with exceptional service and drinks.“
“Couldn’t be happier with owner Meghan and her help to get gluten free cookies delivered same day to my best friend in Asheville with a sweet custom note! She was thorough, easy to talk to, hands on, and so accommodating. Will definitely be spreading the word about the goodness here!“
“LOVED the artfully crafted pastries and the delicious savory offerings here. Friendly customer service with great value for the price, too. Really enjoyed the pretzel turkey sandwich (warmed) with flavorful sesame noodles (highly recommend both!). Finished off our lunch with some delicious sweets- the truffles melt in your mouth and the coffee cake is balanced with spice. Really look forward to dining here again.“
“Holy sh*t! I mean, roughly 1 second after taking the first bite of pulla bread and nordic cinnamon rolls I was already thinking of when I should order the next batch. Just beautiful. Perfect. The way baked goods should be - elegant, not too sweet, and unreasonably delicious.“
