“For Thanksgiving I was distraught, trying to figure out who I could purchase cakes from so we wouldn't have to do all that cooking. I lucked up upon Cakes By Jane and oh my God!! I have probably tried about 5 to 6 different flavors and have simply loved everyone of them. I used to be a baker and loved baking poundcakes and I do know a few things about a great poundcake. They have some of the most delicious pancakes. I've tasted in a long long time. We have been feasting on their cakes since Thanksgiving. I don't think I could ever enjoy anyone else's poundcakes again. Love them love them love them five stars all day long!“

“Today was my family's first Crumbl experience. Everyone has been raving about these cookies. This was a fun weekday treat. We don't do a ton of sweets in our family, so we are selective in what we splurge with. This was so worth it and the service was speedy. The people working here were very sweet too. “I can’t begin to explain how amazing this place is! Food was PHENOMENAL! We had the Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes, the Zadie Bird with French Fries, and the Grilled Cheese with Mac & Cheese. The meatloaf is a seasonal item - it was very tender and tasty! The Zadie Bird had just the right kick to it, and was fantastic! Our kids had the grilled cheese with the bacon-onion jam and they could not get enough. Donna Ray and Soren were amazing in helping us with food and drink recommendations.The restaurant, bar and hotel are in a building which was the old jail house in town. Highly recommend a visit next time you are in town!“

“After a great dinner, we walked around checking out different shops and looking for a cookie to take back to our hotel. It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!“

“Wendi at Butterbugs Baked Goods made our wedding cake dreams come true! She truly outdid herself! The cake was absolutely incredible- from looks, to design, to taste! The taste was delicious (wedding cake flavor), the cake was moist, and the icing and raspberry filling were AMAZING! I would 1000/10 recommend her! You will not be disappointed! Just do it! Oh, and let’s not forget her incredible cookies we had for favors! They were a huge hit! We did chocolate chip and oatmeal ! “The croissant was delicious, highly recommend. I didn’t particularly enjoy the tortilla española. It tasted fine, but could have used a bit more salt and was rather runny in the middle which can be tasty but wasn’t a great decisions since it was made several hours before and was kept at room temperature. Service was great.“
