“Ever since I heard China Grove Family House was going to do a Breakfast menu, I have been on pins and needles waiting to try, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I got the Avocado Eggs Benedict and a side of Sausage Gravy Biscuit. I honestly do not have anything bad to say, the service was great, the waitress was nice, and the hollandaise sauce was nearly perfect. I have tried Egg Benedict at other locations and have been let down because the hollandaise sauce was broken. This one however was maybe a bit thick but tasted good. The pico de gallo on top of the poached eggs gave everything a nice balance of flavors. The sausage gravy and biscuit had just enough salt and was not over salty. Lastly the home fries was seasoned perfectly. Usually I need a sauce to go with home fries because most places have very little seasoning. The china grove family house home fries were great. I will definitely be returning here again for breakfast.“

“This was our first time. We walked in Sunday night at round 7pm and there was a DJ playing music that to us did not fit the atmosphere. It was strange given the theme of the place and music was more club music. Too loud. No I am not old. lolWe ordered the pineapple chicken which was great. Had a teriyaki glazed sauce. Mashed potatoes and roasted corn. ALL was great.“

“I had never heard of this place and certainly didn't realize it was a chain until pulling it up on Google Maps. I ate here on Friday and it was spectacular. I was very happy with the pancakes and the livermush+egg+cheese sandwich. I also had a bite of hashbrowns and country fried steak. I highly recommend this place because not only was the food great, but the service was wonderful and the price was right.“

“Went on a Friday night. They had a guy playing live music and an hour wait. The wait was worth it! The food was awesome. My table had the family diner with oysters, clams, corn shrimp, and crablegs as well as the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was really chill. The wait staff was great! “Local favorite!! This place has some great comfort food options. I ordered the hamburger steak plate! This plate comes with fried onion rings on top. They aren't pictured bc they were so good that I ate them before I got home. I added my own grilled onions to the steak with a little A1 sauce. The sides were awesome! Their fried okra didn't disappoint and the potato salad had some of the best flavors I've ever tasted! Disclaimer: They offer their potato salad grilled! I didn't get mine grilled this time but I'll have to try it next time. The service was great too! Our order was ready for pick up after only 15mins! Overall Park Rd Soda Shoppe is an adorable diner with a retro vibe. Check this place out if you are in the area.“

“Heard so much about this place so I decided to try it for lunch. Great choice. I got a sample of the chicken salad and it was just like homemade. Ordered some and had the pulled pork tray for lunch. Another great choice. The cashier was so friendly and nice and was patient as it was my first visit. I am definitely returning soon. Price was reasonable and money well spent. Hight recommend for some home cooking. Can’t wait to go back to try other menu items.“

“This BBQ restaurant is located on the north side of Salisbury in close proximity to both the Catawba and Livingstone College campuses and the Bob Heffner Veterans Medical Center. Walking into this barbeque restaurant was like a trip back in time to my younger years when there was a barbeque joint in every small community serving great chopped and sliced barbeque sandwiches and trays. Also reminded me of the freshly grilled hotdogs and hamburgers served all the way with chilli,slaw and onion and don't forget the pimento cheese burgers. College Barbeque has all these memories served fresh daily. “Some of the cashier's have bad attitudes and the Hispanic waitress has a bad attitude she pick and choose who she wants to assist at the table and expects a tip I am big on tipping if the service and food is good. Some days you go and the food is delicious and some days the chicken is salty and dry and not to mention the fish.They need the old cooks and workers back that when the food was delicious. “What an amazing, cozy, eclectic, inviting, cool, fun and welcoming place this is! The decor, atmosphere, the plates of food we viewed as we waited to be seated, just the overall first minute of our visit was intoxicating to the senses! The menu -Sunday Brunch, Brunch, and cocktail had so many wonderful options to choose from. We decided on a special Bacon Quiche with Brunch Potatoes and fruit and Eggs Benedict with Brunch Potatoes. Nothing special to drink this visit besides a sweet tea (which was on point) and ice water. The potatoes were cooked and seasoned to perfect. Just the right amount of crispness to the fluffiness of the thicker slices. The quiche was flavorful and filling with the smokey bacon, tang of red onion, and bite of the white cheddar. The Eggs Benedict, with the creamy hollandaise mixed into the runny egg brought out some of the flavor from the Canadian bacon making every bite delectably indulgent. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We will return on a Sunday to try more brunch items and on a weeknight to try some of the items other reviewers raved about.“

“If you ever want the best cinnamon rolls ever, go to Yostie's. The only thing is, you may want to order ahead because they sell out quick. If we ever want to get the family together, we'll say we'll say we have Yostie's cinnamon rolls, then watch out for the stampede. The hot dogs are just as great any way you get them. The ladies there are sweet and friendly. This is a great place to enjoy.“

“So I heard a lot about this place from my friends locally so had to try. I went for lunch today and found a very clean, very friendly place. I had one of the lunch "refuel" options if a cheeseburger all the way (chili, slaw, mustard, onion) and hand cut fries. The cheeseburger was everything you want. A nice warm soft bun, juicy burger and delicious toppings. They offered a choice of fresh hand cut fries or frozen crinkle fries and I chose the hand cut fries. They're softer than perhaps the crinkle fries, so it's a personal preference. They were hot and tasty. Service was quick and again the service was very friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast choices look amazing so I'll be going back again for sure.“

“I recently went there for a free Medicare for Boomers presentation. Prior to that, it had been years since I had eaten there because I hadn't cared for the food (I can't remember now what I ordered back then). This time, however, I was overall satisfied with my dinner: fried flounder / shrimp combo with baked potato and coleslaw. Plenty on the plate, so I left there full. If I go back again, though, I would probably opt for something broiled or baked.“

“Obsessed! We stumbled by this gem by chance alone and to our shock and awe they make fresh pasta here! Each order is made right then. No heating lamps. Reheating frozen items etc. The owner/ chef Hubert came to our table to check on us and was so kind and passionate about his work it was infectious! “This is a no frills steakhouse. Prices are pretty manageable. Quality is ok. I had the Chophouse Prime Dip. Sandwich was fairly tasty. That said, it was a bit underwhelming when it came to the amount of meat. Definitely needs a bit more. The Au Jus was not terribly flavorful. It really did not add anything to the dish. We tried the Onion Rings as well. The Ranch dressing they serve with it was quite good. The breading on the rings was quite bland. Not bad. it just needs more flavor. Service was a bit subpar but not horrible. I would consider coming back to try a steak.“

And the "flow" of the buffet is off, i find you're always running into others as there isn't one clear direction. They serve breakfast at this location and it is delicious!“

“Ah The Carriage Room. This was my hangout in the eightys. I was there 6 nights a week mostly. I was happily pleased that not much had changed in the 30 years since I had last been in. The bartender was extremely friendly and the prices were still very fair. They have enlarged to two rooms, four bathrooms, and three pool tables. The bar is bigger also. They used to have killer burgers, but I didn't try any food. My request, please bring back Old Milwaukee. The taste is as great as it's name.“

Price for food is great, really enjoyed.Parking: It's hard to judge where to park, the lines were erased. The drive to, some lines are open but not all. The bag over the speaker does not look good and you can't tell until you turn right into it.“

“Blue Bay is a great restaurant. The only thing I'm sad about is they now limit the complimentary bowls of hushpuppies to 2 bowls for 1-4people. The hushpuppies are one of my favorite things about the place. Having said that, my brother got Baby Flounder, which was delicious, as was my chopped sirloin.
