“The bartender Tennessee makes the place what it is. I had a great experience my 1st time and look forward to the same experience my next visit. New bartender Scott is a really nice guy. Today was his second day and he did good. Hands down all in all I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Five stars from me.“

“I have ordered several custom cakes for special occasions and they have all been delicious! I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they do an amazing job accommodating both and taking the time to discuss with me my options for cake, frosting and filling flavors. The rest of my family (who can eat gluten and dairy) even LOVE these cakes. They say that they can't tell the difference! The chocolate cake is our favorite.“

“Open mic on Wednesday nights at the Blue Note Grill is the hottest spot in the Triangle for grown-up folks! Awesome job Brett Chambers and The Usual Suspects. The wait staff is overwhelmed but most of them do their best to handle the large, thirsty crowd. But, if you can get past the rudest, nastiest woman at the front desk, the music and dancing make up for average food and adequate service.“

“Dined here last night and at 5:30 there was a 30 minute wait. Didn't expect that but we had no where else to be so we waited. Have dined here from time to time over the years and its simple restaurant food at a fair price. My husband had the fried oysters- it was a smaller size order than we remembered it being but considering what we have paid for oysters recently it was a good deal. Nice size oysters, not too big and not tiny ones either. A medium light batter. Says comes with fries and Cole slaw but can substitute other items at no extra cost. Ordered mashed potatoes and a side salad. I had shrimp and grits with thin slices of what looked like kielbasa. Has good flavor and worth what we paid. Came with a side salad. We had key lime pie for dessert, Could have been a little tangier But home made and it was descent. Atmosphere in the main dining room is a bit crowded, it's one of the things that keeps me from coming back, I sorta feel like cattle being herded into a room. They have a bar area with tables but you can only sit at the bar if seats are available the tables are used doe regular seating. I prefer to sit at the tables in the bar area. This area seems to be filled with regulars. If your looking for decent food at a reasonable price give this place a try.“

“Placed an order for pickup. The young lady I spoke week was the definition of excellent customer service, which is so hard to find lately. This was always my first full order (I have had the mac-n-cheese before). I got the whole rack of ribs with the Moonshine sauce, mashed potatoes & baked beans. This was the BEST meal! The ribs were literally falling off the bone, I probably went through a half of a roll of paper towels. I expected to get two meals out of it and did with the sides, but I STILL had enough ribs left over for a third meal! And each meal was just as good, if not better, than the first. I HIGHLY recommend the Dogwood Grill to anyone that wants an incredible meal, with incredible customer service and with truly reasonable prices! We will definitely be ordering from here again and can't wait to order what we are able too. There are items that we'd love to try, that we won't be able to, as the do have shellfish that the cook in the same place/oil. But knowing that, makes it safe for me & my daughter to know what we can eat from there.“

“The outside doesn't look too inviting, but you park and go in on the side door, and there's a bar to the left with tables on the side. We were expecting more of a restaurant instead of bar, but the food is okay. Sandwiches, wings, wraps, salads, etc. The service is excellent because we lost something and the waitress helped me find it.“

“My experience at Bar Louie was largely enjoyable. The restaurant's cleanliness was notable, with clean tables setting a positive tone. I indulged in the chicken tenders tossed in Thai sweet chili, complemented by a fresh house salad, while my companion savored the salmon sliders paired with a side salad. The tenders were a standout, boasting a crispy exterior and delightful Thai sauce. I also sampled the salmon sliders, finding them equally satisfying. However, the atmosphere was a bit noisy, prompting us to opt for bar seating. Despite encountering less attentive service from the bartender, the overall dining experience was pleasant, leaving me inclined to return for another visit.Kid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible“
