“Husband had three of the tacos: asada, birria, and chorizo, and according to him all three were really good. Only the birria was served with two tortillas, but the single tortilla-tacos held up, even with a liberal dose of the two salsas provided. My son had the pollo asado taco, and he rated it 4.5 out of 5 (he's 6 and he's never given something a 5/5, so this is an excellent rating for him). I had the plain quesadilla, because there aren't a lot of vegetarian options, but the acid/heat of the green salsa helped cut through the fat nicely. The horchata was nice and thick, and piña wasn't too sweet. Overall, I would be happy to return.“
“The food is delicious! Everything! We ordered chorizo queso and it was so good we ordered another one. The chips and salsa are too good! We had the birria quesadilla with consume and it was top tier!! Steak fajita quesadilla with rice very good and the kids chicken quesadilla with fries. Next time we will skip the fries because the rice is so flavorful! We recommend and will absolutely return! Staff was friendly and works quickly!“
“The food, drinks, customer service, and ambiance are all amazing. We had the best experience. Our server, Juan, was super patient and knowledgeable about all the menu items and drinks. The chicken rolls are to die for. We will most definitely be returning soon and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's one of the best that I've had the pleasure of dining at“
“Visited Taqueria Jalisco and had the Street and Birria Tacos today they were incredible, their Birria Sauce was a really great addition. I also had a very unique Aguas Fresca which was a combination of puree of Cantaloupe and Pineapple! The staff was super friendly and the were cooking food from scratch which was full of flavor. If you haven't been here drop by and support a local business doing it the right way!“
“I am SO happy I found somewhere with delicious tamales! The masa is moist and they have a good amount of filling. Also, Best lengua tacos I’ve ever had! The meat is seasoned and cooked well with a nice texture. The tacos are big and the handmade tortillas are great. I recommend the chicken quesadilla too! We will absolutely be returning“
“5 stars all the way around! I had called twice and no one answered (big order) so I was ready to head out and to my behold they call me back! Like I’ve never had a food place call me back! We placed our order over the phone. EVERYTHING was correct! Not a sauce was missing! Customer service is amazing! Food portion is generous we couldn’t it all in one setting! Beautiful people! I’ll recommend a thousand times over. God bless“
“Azteca Grill is sooo good. I ordered the Enchiladas Verde (It's my comfort food dish after decades living in Texas). They were totally delicious. Often when I order this dish here in North Carolina, the chicken is chewy and the salsa verde isn't quite right. The chicken in my enchiladas tonight was perfectly tender, and the salsa was exactly as it should be - tangy tomatillo with just the right amount of heat. I had a nice conversation with one of the guys that works there. He told me that the restaurant is totally family-run. His aunt was cooking that night, but his dad, mom, and grandfather also prepare food. I could tell he was really proud of Azteca. They're doing an amazing job, start to finish, including their 99.5 health rating.“
“This place is so good. The chicken crunch wrap with a cheese jalapeño crust is perfectly spiced and seasoned. The queso is also delicious. I added some of the house hot sauce and LOVED IT. It’s not that spicy but it’s sweet and has a little of a kick. Totally recommend this place“
“Found this spot just walking around waiting for a show at DPAC.Food & drinks were very good, service was excellent.Had the Shrimp & Pastor tacos,The spicy watermelon margarita & the bad bunny were delicious and you can actually taste the tequila.“
“Great food always. If you come early am they have a truck outside if you like tamales ?. I always come here also for the meat, can get it also pre-marrinated in their sauce which is awesome ?.Parking: Not allot of spaces since it is also a grocery store/meat marketKid-friendliness: Always kid friendly. Everyone that works there knows and speaks to my kids as well as us.“
“We got the Taco Bar catering at our offsite location for a 25 person party and let me tell you - it was FANTASTIC. The food was hot and delicious and the partygoers loved it. Also, there was so much that we sent everyone home with another plate! Highly recommend!!!The only issue I had was that the driver was around 10 minutes late (and we were right downtown Durham, so it wasn't like the location was far out or hard to find). Give yourself a buffer on the delivery time and you'll be fine.Would 100% order again!“
“Went with my friends today! It’s was very busy and the hosted never missed a beat! She was super friendly and very attentive to the customers! Making for a great dining experience. The food was amazing! Very fresh, large portions, oh you have to try their apple churros. This is what I had today!“
“My family is from Mexico and these tacos are AMAZING!!! incredibly authentic food and wonderful service! The restaurant is connected to the store and the store also had a great selection of Mexican foods and groceries. If you want delicious Mexican food, the place is a must! Also, the restaurant closes at 7:30pm while the whole store closes at 8pm so plan accordingly.“
“Some of the best tacos in the Triangle area for sure! This is a place to visit if you want to experience authentic Mexican food with high-quality and fresh flavors. There are plenty of diverse and delicious menu items available. Can't wait to go back!“

“My go-to for Mexican food. I have never had a bad meal there. Large menu. Tortilla factory. I hit the meat market in the back before leaving, it's a win/win. Can't believe I didn't know about this place for over 10 years. I love this place. They have great home made Salsa and the best Carnitas. Their spatchcocked chicken is also great and less expensive than the food trucks.“
“First time getting food from here and I had it delivered. Due to poor internet in my apartment I unintentionally made the delivery driver wait 10-15 minutes. However he was still super friendly and my food was amazing. I highly recommend the beef fajitas!“
“I have been going to la super taqueria for a while now. It is a local go to spot for Mexican food. The portions are very generous and the Aguas frescas are also good. My favorite is the gordita de asada but the fajitas tejanas are also a good options.“
“10/10 it was perfect. I love little spots like this. You can tell someone’s abuela is back there doing her thing ?. Please go check this place out. It brings that feeling like you’re eating real Mexican food, not something another culture is trying to imitate.“
“I mean, I'm from Kansas, but I ordered the Tijuana Burrito and it was one of my top three favorite meals ever! Prices seemed fair and portions were plenty large. We were here for a family members surgery at Duke and this place was a nice little escape for us. I feel like it was authentic Mexican cuisine without having to visit a sketchy neighborhood. I highly recommend it.“
“Delicious food filled with flavor! We usually order takeout, the restaurant is small but offers seating in and outdoor. We enjoy the tacos, gorditas and tortas. Their salsas are also very tasty. The service is friendly and quick. We cannot wait to go back ??? ❤️“
“Late night tip. I took my wife here after we got off the plane from Arizona. All of our favorite places had already closed. The chips and queso was really good. I got the chicken burrito which was good. My wife got the nachos, the nachos you can share with two or three people. Over all is a good late night spot. Decor I would give it a 4.5 out of 10.“
“Hands-down the absolute best guacamole I ever had in my life. I didn’t even get a picture of it because I ate it all before I could get a photo ?. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the service was a little slow, but that was because they were very busy.“
“I enjoy the restaurant staff and the restaurant itself. The food is wonderful and their chicken filling for enchiladas, tacos , ect., is wonderfully seasoned and made in house. This restaurant makes their own beautiful, chicken tamales served with a sauce. If you have not tried a tamale, do so here. They are delicately seasoned and are such a delicacy to experience. This is a family style restaurant but I have seen business lunches there, too. The location on Guess Road is easy access with much free parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids have always been enjoying their lunch order, are well behaved for their parents when I have been there.“
“Their shrimp tacos are the best! The slaw is tasty, the salsas are bright and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I also love her tamales, when she has them! I come here every week, they are always kind and I never wait too long for my food. Thank you !“
“This place is amazing the food is great and the employees are great!! They close at 10 but online says 11 and the guy working still took our order at 10:30 and was excited to do so there was no attitude or anything! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know! Thanks again it’s rare to get great service in Durham and y’all were amazing! Thanks again“
“If you know me you know I love big portions!!!! And that's what I got here. I was super happy with my portion, especially for the price. The lunch specials here are only about $10. That is an AMAZING deal for a sit-down restaurant with big portions. And I enjoyed my meal! I especially enjoyed the rice. The refried beans weren't my favorite though (I wanted more bean flavor and less butter / creamy flavor). Service and ambiance were really good too! I love when restaurants have really big water glasses and keep them refilled so you can stay hydrated. The new location is really beautiful.“
“Bean and cheese enchiladas were so good! The serving size was large and somehow I ate the entire plate. The sauce on top was really good. Sometimes with just beans and cheese it can be plain but these were flavorful with a size of rice and lettuce and sour cream. I had forgotten to take a picture and ate too quick! Waitress was great, ambience is standard Mexican restaurant vibes nothing out of the ordinary. The salsa had a marinara flavor to it so it wasn't my favorite salsa but it was still good!“
“Their street tacos remind me of my grandma cooking tacos in her restaurant in Illinois. The lingua tacos remind me of taquerias by Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth Texas. No other place in the triangle compares.Previously having lived out west, I know my tacos.?????????“
“Great little restaurant tucked in next to a gas station. Good food, nice people, and the atmosphere is exactly what one expects from a cute little Mexican restaurant. The fajitas are well seasoned and large. The mole is fantastic. Definitely worth the trip. The huarache is thinner than at other places but just as flavorful, and it made it easier to drink.“
“I have always wanted to try this spot but never had the time. You know a spot is good when you find people from that same ethnicity or region patronizing the place. I went around lunch time and it was packed. I ordered the Tacos went to the car, eat it all and came back and ordered some more! Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the tacos but I do have of the fried tilapia and I can tell you it was hot, fresh and delicious!“
“An absolutely wonderful food truck experience. The service was amazing, and the food is top notch. This was situated outside of their home, and I couldn't have felt more welcome. Thank you so much, and I hope I get to see you all again.“
“Surprised by the ambiance and vibe. Fun and classy place. Very tasty food and generous portions. The owner served us and Daniele was lovely. Easy to tell she is just naturally a generous and nice person. Fun lunch and will be back with a bigger appetite!“
“Came here last night to grab some tacos - you can find this outside the motel 6. Ordered 3 carne asada tacos, each had cilantro onion and small pieces of steak & came with a small slice of lime. Sliced cucumbers & grilled pepper was on the side. For $2 each, it was solid, not the best but not the worst. Steak was a little dry but I heard chicken/chorizo is better. 4 stars for super quick service & their green sauce. Make sure to grab some!!“
“The food was excellent. I come from Portugal and I went in for a coffee and I got an excellent surprise: the food 5 Estrella's, the attention 5 Estrella's and Jazmin. The nicest robot that will serve YOU and treat YOUR food. Congratulations I recommend itParking: It is spacious and easy to access.“
“This is hands down the best Moe's in the Triangle. The food is always fresh and up to par. The workers are always very friendly and helpful. Even when we were having issues with discounts showing up in the Moe's app they made sure the issue was addressed and not looked over. The facilities are also very clean !Dietary restrictions: They have charts up that would be helpful to anyone with dietary restrictions to soy dairy and gluten.“
“We love this place, the service and the food excellent ! It's like going down the rabbit hole and coming out on the other side in Wonderland! Don't let the age or location of this building fool you. It's definitely worth a visit. This place has the best traditional tacos in all of Durham! The pineapple water is to die for, and each plate of tacos is served with pickled carrots and onions that will drive anyone mad! The staff is always so friendly and our food is always prepared promptly. This really is a family favorite and a must-have at least once or twice a month! I wish they would sell the pickled carrots by the gallon. LOL, they're that good!“
“I'm here from Texas and lived in Mexico City for a little while. Coming to North Carolina, good Mexican food was not an expectation. But last night I saw people standing out in the cold eating by this truck and so I stopped in. Wonderful birria and wonderful people. I will be back - can't wait to taste the rest of the menu.“
“The service is friendly and the place and the food are familiar, I particularly like it a lot.Parking: The parking lot is small but you can find a place.Kid-friendliness: The place is not very big and it is suitable for children as long as parents keep an eye on them because there are a couple of somewhat high steps that could be dangerous for children if you as a parent do not pay attention to them.“
“Since I’ve Moved to this area, this has been the best food I’ve ever had of a food truck. Besides the price, the people and the food is amazing. I usually have the quesadilla but I decided to try the new item they have which is the same but it’s quesabirria, so delicious and amazing my husband had a torta which is good too, we never end up finishing it since it’s so much food. Their tacos are delicious as well.“
“In my opinion one of the most underrated family owned Mexican food trucks in east Durham . I've been coming to this truck consistently through out the year and one thing stays true, always fresh! The tortillas are hand made on the spot and you can hear that grill sizzle with every order. They do not open on Sundays but the truck is stationed at the same location all week. They have two large picnic tables outside with umbrellas for shade if you want to enjoy your meal there!“
“Second visit. Was a little disappointed in the food this time. Previously had one the their delicious bowls. This time I ordered an arepa and an empanada. Both were dry, and the ratio of fillings to dough was off. Might try them one more time.“
