Honestly they only deserve 4 stars, but I felt like I needed to counteract the two one-star reviews, since one was about masks and one was about someone not knowing what to expect from a Mexican meat market.The tacos are pretty good. Barbacoa was tender and juicy, though smoked a bit more than I'd like. The al pastor was not good on it's own, mushy and grainy, but somehow became delicious after adding salsas to it. This is a really good taqueria with a variety of fillings for tacos and quesadillas. Has a nice salsa bar too. It's not high end but the food satisfied this former San Diego resident who is very picky about his TexMex. Three tacos, a Carne asada quesadilla and drink for $12. I'll be returning for sure.
