“Wednesday is the day to go. Their Dipped Chicken will make you lick your plate? The baby flounder and white fish are awesome too. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but well with the wait. Slap my mouth awesome! All this with a gorgeous view of the Lake.Parking: Plenty of parking unless you are vying for a spot with those folks just heading to church or just getting out.Kid-friendliness: So many good choices for kids they're too busy eating to misbehave. Staff is very attuned to their needs.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ramp to the inside with plenty of maneuvering room once you're inside. Reserved disabled parking right at the door.“

“Heard so much about this place so I decided to try it for lunch. Great choice. I got a sample of the chicken salad and it was just like homemade. Ordered some and had the pulled pork tray for lunch. Another great choice. The cashier was so friendly and nice and was patient as it was my first visit. I am definitely returning soon. Price was reasonable and money well spent. Hight recommend for some home cooking. Can’t wait to go back to try other menu items.“

“Customer service is awesome! Probably the last Diner for Old School Truckers to appreciate. My husband and I had cheese burgers & fries. Food was great, clean store and awesome service. We will be back! Oh I forgot to mention the Diner is open 24 hours. So hot and fresh not something that’s been on a roller all day or microwaved.“

“Went on a Friday night. They had a guy playing live music and an hour wait. The wait was worth it! The food was awesome. My table had the family diner with oysters, clams, corn shrimp, and crablegs as well as the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was really chill. The wait staff was great! We will definitely be back!“

“This BBQ restaurant is located on the north side of Salisbury in close proximity to both the Catawba and Livingstone College campuses and the Bob Heffner Veterans Medical Center. Walking into this barbeque restaurant was like a trip back in time to my younger years when there was a barbeque joint in every small community serving great chopped and sliced barbeque sandwiches and trays. Also reminded me of the freshly grilled hotdogs and hamburgers served all the way with chilli, slaw and onion and don't forget the pimento cheese burgers. College Barbeque has all these memories served fresh daily. They deserve more than a 5 Star rating !Parking: Small parking lot that fills up quickly during the lunch time rush other times plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking at entrance only downside is the restrooms are outside the building“

“Breakfastime is a great spot to eat! I ordered the traditional eggs benedict with home fries and enjoyed every bite. The home fries were some of the best I’ve ever had! The staff is also very friendly and attentive. The wood walls and country vibe make this a cozy casual place to enjoy a good breakfast.“

“Listen if you want a classic diner breakfast with friendly service after your visit to Webb Rd Flea market, this is the place. Fairly steady customers but the staff keep everything moving. Dated interior? yes. Good solid breakfast menu with good coffee? also yes. We will definitely be back.“

“Best place and the best snow biz I've ever been too. Have tried other places and the flavors just don't compare. Alot of them taste watered down. This is not the case here at this snow biz. Will always come here before anywhere else“

“Fun little place for Sunday brunch. Eclectic decorations and a delicious hearty menu. There was a ton of food on our plates and all of it was outstanding. Not your run of the mill brunch. The food was well thought out and worked well together. We will definitely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Two steps up into the door. No ramp.“

“* * This is an Update to my original review. The food is extraordinary.... had the shredded beef bowl today! I didn't realize until the second visit today....how absolutely every morsel has a great surprise - unbelievable taste!Try it!When you find a pearl in an oyster you're not surprised. That's what they do! When you come across a "perfect little gem" of an eatery on a Highway - kinda in the middle of a country road - that's not just a surprise it's a treasure.WOW 601 (named for the Highway it's on) is an enigma wrapped up in a conundrum!Well, maybe it's just a diamond in the rough. Drive by too fast you'll miss it! And you would MISS some of the most delicious food in North Carolina I have had.WOW 601 is run by the friendliest couple - local small business owners from Venezuela. The food is anything like fast food....everything is cooked to order. Fresh ingredients all.The "Bowl" I had was scrumptious. A rhapsody of tastes, textures and flavors - awakening all yummy sensations. It was filled with marinaded chicken, lettuce, cheese, black beans, olives, green peppers, pico de gallo, cucumber, and topped off with a heavenly pink sauce.....delicate and just the right combination of flavorful and traditional. The menu is varied and "hit the proverbial spot.Pull into this little spot and enjoy a surprise beyond any expectation.Enjoy!“
“Obsessed! We stumbled by this gem by chance alone and to our shock and awe they make fresh pasta here! Each order is made right then. No heating lamps. Reheating frozen items etc. The owner/ chef Hubert came to our table to check on us and was so kind and passionate about his work it was infectious! We will def return and 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!“

“I ordered the big breakfast (sumn)? lol. It came with two sides, two meats, a choice of toast or pancakes. I had toast! The food was tasty. My eggs were browned, only downside, because I asked for scramble. Well done (I guess??♀️). And I say enough to feed me, and two-three toddlers depends on how much one eats! I paid about 11-12 bucks for my plate I as well ordered an orange juice, which in total cost me $15.00 for a meal and refreshment drink. Have some good crushed ice! Haha, I recommend, although I'd like to try some of their BBQ and beans one day, maybe next time, if I'm ever delivering or picking up in that area from the paper mill. Was a nice parking lot, Bobtailed, so if you're a trucker, don't bring the trailer only Bobtail! Great way to spend time with trainees while being loaded for hours! Oan, they apply automatic gratuity if using a card payment!Kid-friendliness: Nice and clean and welcoming atmosphere!!! The decorations and paintings should have a kid entertained!“

“We were staying in Salisbury for a wedding and came across this hidden gem that’s a quick 10 minute drive! The prices are great! The staff is wonderful and friendly! We had:1. The ATW hot dogs with spicy chili: They were delicious. My family’s roots are from Detroit and they were just like the Coney dogs I grew up loving!2. Cinnamon rolls: Ooeey and gooey and just out right delicious3. Gallon of fresh lemonade: refreshing and wonderful.4. Cheese straws: fresh and cheesy! Could tell they didn’t have fillers5. Mini pepperoni rolls: I’m from Pittsburgh and these are a staple in the area and they were just as good as being home!6. Oatmeal butter scotch chips cookies: these were amazing with just the right amount of chips. Full of cinnamon flavor“

“Haven't been there in a while, but there are change the whole look of it. Pizza was awesome. They're stuffed mushrooms were really good. Chicken salad was really good. Grilled cheese was really cheesy you could get it with pimento cheese or without pimento cheese. Give them a try it's a nice place on the water.Parking: It's on the water so it's so it's kind of like up the hill and around and then there's plenty of parking.“

“Everything we had was so delicious at outback. We tried a little bit of everything - appetizers, salads, steak and dessert!! But the part that stood out the most was our fantastic waitress, Shelby. She is such a sweetheart and phenomenal at her job. We will definitely come back just to sit in her section. Thank you for the wonderful service and food!“

“I recently went there for a free Medicare for Boomers presentation. Prior to that, it had been years since I had eaten there because I hadn't cared for the food (I can't remember now what I ordered back then). This time, however, I was overall satisfied with my dinner: fried flounder / shrimp combo with baked potato and coleslaw. Plenty on the plate, so I left there full. If I go back again, though, I would probably opt for something broiled or baked.“

“Normally I get bone-in wings whenever I go but today I wanted something different. I got the chicken quesadilla and I’m glad I did! It was so good. It had plenty of cheese, onions, and peppers. I love coming here because the food is always good and the service is always great.“

“Service was good, when the lettuce wrap option for their cheese burger was no longer available, the waitress came back out and notified me. We were able to adjust the order to fit my allergy and still enjoy the meal.Good American dinner style of food.“

I'm sure the other servers are good as well, but she served us and was amazing. It is kind of pricey but for special occasions it is the place to go!!“

“A great example of a local restaurant that understands how to set an atmosphere. The food is excellent for its price, and the dining room tends towards quiet. They offer pizza and burgers with a good portion sizes and turn around times, with staff that are polite and personal without the sterile PR approved feel you get at franchise outfits. They know who and what they are, and aspire to be the best version of it they can.Parking: This is a compact lot with no ability to accommodate trailers. Not hard to find a space most nights.Kid-friendliness: Small and quiet, with large booths that can easily handle kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Too small for power assisted doors, but help is available to those who ask.“
“Ah The Carriage Room. This was my hangout in the eightys. I was there 6 nights a week mostly. I was happily pleased that not much had changed in the 30 years since I had last been in. The bartender was extremely friendly and the prices were still very fair. They have enlarged to two rooms, four bathrooms, and three pool tables. The bar is bigger also. They used to have killer burgers, but I didn't try any food. My request, please bring back Old Milwaukee. The taste is as great as it's name.“

“I was in the mood for some good soul food and decided to check out Rozay's. I called my order in and arrived and everything was ready. I ordered mac and cheese, fried shrimp, and collard greens. The food was good but I did not love the collard greens. I will be back.“
