“Everything is a ten! The restaurant gives me Cali vibes in the South! Special thanks to the bartender Allayne for always making the best drinks and her wonderful service! Get the chicken and ask for Allayne at the bar she never disappoints!“
“TAMASHA Rocks! Definitely the best Indian food in Raleigh and reminds you of the amazing tastes from back home / best restaurants from different cities. Mike has done an amazing job with the place and chef Bhavin has a magic touch in putting together such amazing dishes. Tried most of the menu and you really cannot go wrong - just depends on your mood. Thanks team Tamasha!! Looking forward to many more amazing times!!!“
“Fantastic service and incredible food!! Our waitress was very attentive to my dietary restrictions and I was very thankful for that. She did a great job outlining the menu with my food allergies in mind. They use a wood fire cooking technique which made everything taste even better!Dietary restrictions: The kitchen was very open to accommodating dietary restrictions/food allergies.“
“First time there after hearing about it for months. Had the bartender Ray who was super professional, funny, and held a great conversation!! He was really informative about the drinks you order! talked about video games with my boyfriend and I and mentioned the bars gaming nights - we will for sure come back and attend! I ordered the booyah and a custom drink. Tasted amazing and I highly recc!“
“Such delicious small plates and wonderful drinks. Vegan options were spot on, too. My only problem is that reservations for 2 have to sit at the bar. It's not comfortable or enjoyable to sit at a backless stool. And the table behind us sat empty from 6:30-8:30. ?“
“The best tacos I've ever eaten peroiod. I really don't see how they can get any better. Every different one I've tried is above any I've had from other places and I've eaten a substantial amount of tacos in my lifetime. They do need to put a pedestrian crossing sign at the one in Raleigh. That curve and the front door is a recipe for a bad accident waiting to happen.“
“Great food was very surprised by how good the chicken sandwich and the fries were. Our waiter Zach was very kind and accommodating helping us move our things outside so we could eat out there. He also helped me pick a good flight of whiskey !“
“My visit to Bar William & Company was amazing! The ambiance was vibrant, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were expertly crafted. It's a perfect spot for a night out with friends. I give it five stars for the fantastic atmosphere and top-notch service!“
“This place is interesting. It is kinda tricky to find. The food can be great, or not great. This time I had the swordfish. It was highly overcooked. The broccolini was highly undercooked, to the point that it could not be cut with a fork and a butter knife. The sauce was fairly bland. For seafood, I would not come back. Now.... With that said... The burgers. They looked, and smelled awesome. I wish I had ordered that, instead. This restaurant feels like it was something special a few years ago, and now it seems like they do not think they have to try, and that is a shame. It is a 3 star experience that could be way better, with a little effort. The Pink Venom was excellent.“
“Best quality shrimp I have ever had in my long time in Raleigh. Very helpful and friendly staff who care about getting your order correct. I had requested to have a certain ingredient removed from a dish, and since that was not possible for that specific dish they immediately called me and helped me switch my order to a similar(and delicious) alternative dish without any hassle and without me having to place another order. They proactively refunded the difference of dish price for my order without me even having to ask. I was only picking up but I also noticed they have a nice bar with TVs as well as a pleasant atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of delicious pescatarian options“
“This was our first time trying this spot. I tried the salmon burger and it was really good. My daughter got the grilled chicken sandwich and ate ALL of it. My hubby got the bison burger and he devoured it. The onion rings are also REALLY good. We will definitely be back.“
“Great selection and variety of drinks from light beers and ciders to wines, cocktails, and stouts. Very chill place to grab a drink and hang out. A couple bar tabletop games and arcade machines to choose from as well. Clean area and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!Parking: Big parking garage in short walking distance.“
“Honestly one of the best whiskey bars I’ve ever experienced. They have tons of barrel picks and allocated bourbons. Best of all the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable, personable, and make some of the most magnificent cocktails I’ve ever had. Prices are fair and best of all it’s a relatively quiet, peaceful bar tucked away in a quieter part of Raleigh. 12/10 recommend!“
“Our core sounder oysters were really good and a bonus at the happy hour price. The snapper ceviche is my absolute favorite dish in the Triangle. And as always, our bartender Nick was the best! He's super knowledgeable, friendly, and always fun to talk to. We will be back soon.“
“This bar is amazing. We went here for their Halloween karaoke party and truly had a wonderful time. The music was great, the bartenders did a wonderful job keeping up and keeping everyone well hydrated. Jessica, who was in charge of the karaoke, did a wonderful job and kept the karaoke running smoothly. The back of the bar is full of nostalgic video games that you can play FOR FREE! I'm so impressed with this bar and would highly recommend it!!!“
“We had a wonderful time here, it almost feels like you know a little secret when you first show the bouncer your ID an d start walking down stairs. The drinks are perfect, and the vibes are so laid back. There a couple of rooms that feel more secluded, booths for more space, but primarily mostly couches to keep that chill energy while you sip on an amazing drink and catch up with your people, or even do some work like I did. Highly recommend Watts & Ward!“
“I almost don't want to review Gallo Pelon because it's such a hidden gem that I want to keep secret. Upstairs from a different Mexican restaurant (same owners? Shared kitchen? No idea!). - Great ambience, bar, table seating, and this adorable courtyard with string lights. Would be a dope first date spot. - food is delish! Small menu but plenty of options for vegetarians too! - drinks are on point. If you love Mezcal, this is your place - so many options and cocktails. If you don't love Mezcal but love tequila - this is still your place! - service is good, the food comes up from downstairs in a little foot elevator in the wall behind the bar“
“This place is IT! The drinks were some of the most well-balanced cocktails we've ever had. But the absolutely best was the service from Serena. She is the best bartender in the triangle and makes the visit to Dram worth it! Ensure to try one of her mystery “
“Best customer service I had in a long time. Brianna was a great server, ask for her. My friend and I went on a Wednesday evening, it was busy but comfortable. They had a live artist. The art all over the walls create a really nice vibe. The kitchen was a little slow but nothing too serious considering the crowd. The drinks aren’t worth the price but the food… amazing. A week later and I’m still thinking about the peach cobbler. Will definitely be back.“
“We went there to find a place to relax on thanksgiving and was greeted by the wonderful owner and patrons. With amazing food, drinks and atmosphere, this is the kind of small business bar that will flourish in raleigh. Truly a gift to the area.“
“Great food and atmosphere especially for special occasions like birthdays! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly! It is quite expensive so it's a place you can only go every once in a while. The food was great and I've eaten at many nice restaurants.“
“My type of ominous basement cocktail bar. It was tucked away off the sidewalk down some stairs, illuminated by the red Foundation light.Dimly lit stone/brick walls with some awesome local artwork throughout. Hefty selection of bottles. I was striking out with too-sweet cocktails throughout my road trip and finally caught a strong old fashioned! The bartender nailed it. Add it to you late night craft cocktail stop.“
“We dropped by on a chilly February night. This cocktail bar had a huge line, and it took at least 30 minutes for us to get in. The drinks were all super interesting - gin and jam is their specialty and unique. We tried their smores sundae dessert which was super super sweet (not for those who don't like sweets). The torced marshmallow donut ring with the ice cream were amazing - but I personally found the brownie too sweet. Service was great! A great cocktail spot - would I go back - probably not because I wasn't blown away by any of the cocktails. But it was still a good time.“
“Loved this place.Service was spectacular and the food is amazing. We were seated and were approached for our drink orders within 2 minutes. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it was one of the best I have ever had. The food came out rather fast, and just as I finished my last sip of soda, someone set a new one down on the table. The service was incredible as it seemed they anticipated our needs before we asked. They were the perfect amount of attentive. We will definitely be back when we come back to Raleigh. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would.“
“Connor our server and bartender was very professional and attentive. He also made great cocktails ?!! I very much enjoyed a perfectly dirty gin martini while my husband enjoyed the Clockwork old fashion. The falafel tacos were very delicious!! We will be returning often.“
“Lakeside Kitchen is a very nice restaurant with a romantic feel about it. The food was really good and the service was just good. My only issue was finding it‼️ it is so tucked away. There is a beautiful view of the lake and lots of lovely spots to take photos if you like. Great outdoor seating for spring and summer. I look forward to going back‼️“
“We came out to hear the Magic Pipers Band. Had a fantastic time. The music had the crowd dancing and all seemed to enjoy themselves.I am posting in part because I saw a super weirdo couple working on a one star review. They were seated at a table for four and did not want to share the open seats. We were thrilled they finally left. Those who visit here know it is the friendliest vibe anywhere and this couple did not fit.OMalleys certainly does not deserve their negative feedback. You should definitely come out.And this weirdo couple should stay home.“
“We've been going here for years and it's a winner every time. Always a lively, busy atmosphere and the service is consistently great. The menu offers a variety of options, and I recommend the fresh guacamole as a starter. The beer/wine menu feels limited to me, so I usually go for a yummy signature cocktail. There is limited seating on the patio so make a reservation if you want to dine outside and enjoy warmer weather. Overall, Tazza Kitchen Village District is two-thumbs up!“
“So this bar is not the fanciest but the bartender's and crowd are like a fun dysfunctional family! The bartender's are knowledgeable and when you come in it is like being at your best friend's house. Go and enjoy, you're welcome“
“This place was great! We came on a Sunday night and the bartender was friendly and nice. He was attentive, and made recommendations. As for the location, it’s well kept with plenty of space. The drinks themselves were amazing, with a wide selection to choose from. Fairly priced as well though it can be tricky not to get carried away so be cautious.A nice touch I noticed was that the bathrooms contained mints and mouthwash for one to freshen up. All in all, it was a nice experience and I’ll def be back again.“
“secret speakeasy, welcoming and safe atmosphere, good DJ, ideal for people who want to dance but have outgrown the college scene and glenwood.the star of the show was manager Justin who walked my friend and I to our car around 1am to make sure we got back safely. he also made custom snickerdoodle shots for our group. absolutely incredible experience and can't wait to go back!Wheelchair accessibility: they have a chair lift up the stairs“
“We and the kids came downtown for a day out and my better half picked Parkside for us to all try and I'm so glad he did. As a Raleigh Native and have traveled all across our beautiful state, I love our down home good ol country cookin. I was a little skeptical at first, but I had the brisket scramble bowl. It was Soo good, I don't like eating big mushrooms , but that gravy ...y'all!! Like you could put it on anything and it would be so good. Especially like a Salisbury steak or meatloaf (y'all should totally put it on the menu) lol It would be just fine to sop up with a piece of bread. Anyway lol all of our food was great. It was a great experience, we all tried each other's food. It was just a great time out with the family and I'm glad Parkside got to be apart of our great day! Oh and on top of all that the service is outstanding! Very nice and the atmosphere is cool, it really fits being in the warehouse district. Me and the hubby will be back for the mimosas or breakfast shots next time!“
“I recently heard about The Mill from one of my recruiter friends. So, a couple of girlfriends and I went to check it out. Immediately we were impressed with the ascetic and ambiance. Our waitress, Marissa, was super nice and helpful. She was able to offer suggestions and her descriptions made our mouth water. So, two of us ordered the Wood-fried Pork Chop and my other friend ordered the Mill Burger. We also had the Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned. When our plates arrived, they were very appealing; we couldn’t wait to dig in. The pork chops were paired with blue cheese mac + cheese and rapini (it’s like a broccolini). I wasn’t too sure about the Mac as I’m not a blue cheese fan, but it was really nice… the sauce was subtle and not pungent as one would think. For me, it was actually the best part of the meal. The pork chop, for me left a lot to be desired. While it was a rather large chop, about four fingers, it wasn’t seasoned well and as we got closer to the bone, it was undercooked to raw in some places.A gentleman came over to check on us, this was before we really got into the meal and I shared my thoughts on the chop being under seasoned as well as my misconception on the apple agrodolce which was on top of the chop. How it was explained, I expected a sauce, not applesauce, but something a bit more thick and less liquidy. He took our notes and thanked us.When our waitress came back to check on us, we had made our way through the meal and the unfortunate undercooked meat. We also explained our discontent with what was left. She explained about the cut and the cook-time etc then sent for the manager. He,in turn, came over and did more explaining, while apologizing, and made it right. All in all, I would definitely got back for drinks as they were on point. And I’d definitely get an order of that blue cheese mac.**note that they are working on a new menu with a new chef and the the four finger chop will not be a part of that new menu. The new menu is expected with the next week.“
“I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in the Triangle — from Wake Forrest to Morrisville. This is the best of the area. The menu is extensive covering almost all the Vietnamese must-haves e.g pho noodles, banh mi (baguette subs) and other less common ones like banh xeo (fried crepes), bun rieu (crab meat noodle) and softshell crabs (see photo). We will definitely be back. Plenty of parking too — don’t let the midtown part worry you.“
“Was not expecting this "hidden" gem in a bar that was clearly closed to the public. I was greeted by a waiter who led me back to a bar behind a bookshelf. I was greeted more by the dim lights than by the bartender. But, once I was, I enjoyed my bent umbrella, which was way more citrusy than I thought it would be in a good way, and it was super smooth to sip and enjoy. I finished this while speaking to the bartender and a patron who was very kind. The bartender was very open and kind. He made me feel very comfortable and was so kind!My second drink was the "Apples and Allies," which reminded me of a spicier apple cider with rum. It was super smooth, warm, and easy to sip and sip!I would come back here for the drinks and atmosphere. Very chill and great drinks!“
“Arrived on the second night of their grand reopening. The remodel looked great, a little more room than the old plan and they have a stage for musicians. Didn’t try any food but the drinks are always good and the staff did great. Downtown Garner has a social district, so you can take your drinks outside and walk around WITHIN the downtown area.“
