“Food was good, but a bit odd. The Aversboro burger is not at all what we were expecting, it's a patty slapped on a piece of toast with some fries thrown on top, smothered in white cheese. It was okay, some people might like it more than we did. Shrimp poboy was also not traditional, shrimp was tossed in some sort of boom boom sauce that was actually very tasty. Only wish the bread they put it on was big enough to hold all the shrimp. Fries were cooked well, decently crispy, light on the salt but that's easy enough to add.“
“I came to get 2 pieces of the triple chocolate cake. The young man at the register picked out two fresh moist pieces. The key is to look at sticker date. He knew those without stickers were the ones baked that day. They did not disappoint. So chocolatey and moiiiissstttt.“
“Fair warning, this is definitely more of a sports bar than a take your kids to lunch or dinner restaurant. That being said, the food is delicious! I sat out on the patio to catch some sun as it was finally a nice day! Unfortunately, smoking is allowed on the patio and right as I got my food, a man came out and proceeded to chain smoke 6 cigarettes in a row, whomp whomp haha. I ordered the boom boom shrimp to start - AMAZING. They were SO good! They offer you a side of ranch or bleu cheese which is strange as it's an Asian inspired boom boom sauce but that's okay hah. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich (forgot to take a photo) for lunch with a side salad - the side salad and the shrimp came out immediately. I sat and sat after I had finished both, waiting for my sandwich. The server came out to see if I needed anything else and I asked about my sandwich, I said if it hadn't been made, that was okay I was satisfied so I didn't need it if it had been accidentally forgotten. The server said, oh no, no it's quick to make, I'll get that right out! I'm glad I waited on it because it was really good. A little bit more mayonnaise than I usually prefer but definitely tasty on a croissant as the bread. All in all, it was tasty and I left feeling full! I'll be back :)“
“My wife and I decided to have a date night here. The building and area appear to be brand new. Big portions and good food! It was a bit loud with all the concrete floors and hard surfaces, but we still enjoyed it. Lots of TVs to enjoy the latest sports games. If there was a bit more sound dampening, I'd give it 5 stars, but I'd still recommend giving this place a try regardless!Parking: Parking is a bit tight, but we were able to find a spot easily. The other buildings in the complex are still empty right now though.“
“Solid BBQ, one star off because I feel they're skimpy on the meat portions. I ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs. Received 1-1/2 slices of brisket and 2 ribs. The baked beans were terrific and the mac & cheese was very good. Great staff also.“
“Wow! I was encouraged by the reviews; however Michael made our experience one to remember! He was attentive and genuine. We were celebrating my bday so we started with dessert!! The best benets ever!!! The oysters are fresh and perfectly charred. Gumbo was one for the books. Do not hesitate to eat here!“
“the food was awesome, we had ribs, brisket, pulled pork, nachos, wrapped jalapeños, and the best wings ever. the Habenero sauce was not hot, it had just the right heat to it and the Buffalo sauce was amazing. Great service, we never had to flag down our waitress. Great job“
“Had a delicious sweet cream cold brew. When I said I was interested in taking some beans home I was given a thorough description of each of the available beans so I could make a perfectly informed choice. Knowledgeable staff, with perfectly pleasant salesmanship!!“
“Great place for nachos ?. We finally took the time to stop in and give Gym Tacos ? a try. We were very glad we did. The food was wonderful. We ordered our jalapeno's on the side because you never know how spicy they are. We were glad we did even though they weren't very spicy. Awesome place for street tacos or a boat load of nachos.“
“** Long Post Warning** OOHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOODDDDDDD! Outside of Texas I have never had such delicious barbecue. The brisket will have you crying like a baby and the I house made pimento cheese sausage is crazy! The bbq rice is perfect and the pork bbq is ridiculous and flavor packed to the last bite. The whole staff is pretty much Military Veterans and you can see and hear them working together to make sure service is quick and seamless. The best barbecue place in NC hands down. Each year he honors active duty and military veterans with free food for the whole family. Most places that do military meals only give it to the military person and it's usually a lunch size portion of 3-4 options on a limited menu. Not at Prime. You get the same options and portions for free as you would if you paid. I have a family of 6 so imagine what kind of bill we usually have. To have that paid for and get the quality of food we get is mind blowing. Prime has a special table that can be reserved by veterans or active duty that seats 8-10 people and it's awesome. The owner Christopher Prieto is the most genuine and humble man on earth. My wife sat down to eat one day and he seen my Navy Veteran shirt. He asked me if he could sit down and thanked me for my service and just started talking to me and my wife like we knew each other all our lives. I knew I seen his face before and then I realized he was on Food Networks Chopped in the barbecue championship representing NC. My family is a family of faith and so is he. He talked to us about how God gave him his vision and his purpose for the restaurant and how he uses proceeds to help veterans and families in need have meals and basic necessities as his way of showing the love of the Lord. I cannot say enough about this place. My wife and I go every chance we get.“
“I stopped by this place on a random drive day, and I’m glad I did so. Amazing Mexican food, and fresh juices. Their tacos and burritos are way above your $$$ restaurant experience. The lady running this place is polite and courteous. Beautiful location too.“
“My wife and I celebrated her birthday with dinner at Cortez last night. Overall it was a great experience! The only nit would be we waited 10-15 mins after being seated for our waitress to stop by. The rest of the night more than made up for it.We ordered oysters, several small plates and shared the taco plate. The food was delicious and delivered at a good cadence, so we were not inundated with plates all at once. The food was prepared perfectly, tasty and fresh. As I put a note in our reservation that it was my wife's birthday, they kindly provided a free champagne toast and a churro with ice cream dessert with a candle. My wife was thrilled!!This was our second time dinning at Cortez, and both times the meals were excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit!“
“Came out to a local brewery today, but what drew me here was the food truck. I get to enjoy the beautiful weather outside sitting on picnic benches. The food is always fresh and delicious. We had the pork quesadilla and the BBQ nachos with brisket. The nachos were great. Really flavorful with plenty of meat and cheese. The quesadilla was huge and well worth the money. The service is always great. They are friendly and help you with making choices if you are unsure of what to get. My recommendation: get the brisket on anything. And get the churros and cheesecake flautas.“
“Absolutely phenomenal! Tonight was our first time trying Torchy's and it will definitely not be the last. Awesome vegetarian options that packed a ton of flavor. Mike and the entire team were so patient with us as we asked questions and had a sincere interest in ensuring that we were happy with everything. thank you all for an outstanding experience.“
“This place is so incredible, I don't know where to begin. I went in for lunch today and sat at a table in Mia's section. I was having some trouble deciding on what I wanted to do food wise, but I never felt rushed or in the way. My table was under a skylight and when Mia saw me squinting, she, completely unprompted, moved me over a table so I could get out of the sun. I started with the roasted cauliflower, which was awesome--I really loved the spicy aioli. I'm not usually a whiskey person, but when I saw the rack of assorted bitters, I decided to get an old fashioned and it did not disappoint. The beer I had was excellent as well. For my entree, I finally decided on the chicken sandwich with fries. Since it was not quite time for the fryer (they were at the tail end of brunch), Mia gave me the option of waiting so I could get fries. I was in no hurry and needed some time to digest my cauliflower, so I did. They were definitely worth the wait!! I like to have aioli with fries, so I ordered a side of herb aioli. Noticing this, Mia brought me some of their beet ranch for my fries as well, which was also quite flavorful. (I ended up rotating between the herb aioli and the ranch.) Since I was full of cauliflower, the super tasty chicken sandwich, and the incredible fries, I had to take my pot de creme dessert to-go, which Mia comped for me because of my fortitude for waiting for the crispy hot fries. I mean, who does that? I don't come to Raleigh often, but I've definitely found my new favorite place and my new favorite server. Hands down, the best service I've ever had in a restaurant.“
“Great location and fun place to have a beer. Lots of board games.Indoor and outdoor seating and there’s a little outdoor alley way.Relaxed vibes. Massive fire pit and neat bicycle and motor decor throughout.Has been around for years and remains a great brewery in town.“
“Really awesome stop when visiting the area! We went with friends and it worked well for everyone to order what they wanted from different places and/or share. Every food option you could want! There's a bar with great options, they had a $15 mimosa special. Clean outdoor eating area with lots of seats.“
“The coladacado smoothie was excellent, bets smoothie I've ever had. The kava was also good and relaxing - the guy made sure we understood what it was beforehand. He also made me a cortado, and it wasn't half bad. Very vibey, we will be back.“
“Large downtown Raleigh restaurant. Great food, excellent service. We had Chile relleno and shrimp tacos. Excellent. Salsa and chips good too! I lived in Texas for over a decade--so I'm pretty opinionated about Mexican food. Good food and reasonable prices.“
“Cute and convenient location with good drinks and friendly people. Tried a variety of pastries (cinn roll, pecan sticky bun, cranberry scone, pound cake & baguette). The flavors were nice but everything was on the dry side for my taste. Maybe the oven temps are a bit too low and the pastries get dried out? The baguette flavor was great, but still just a tad too hard and dried out. I'm sure everything would be great dunked in a beverage though.“
“First time visiting here even though I walk past it all the time. Came here for some brunch and got seated right away outdoors. I got the French toast with a side of fruit and a mimosa as well. The French toast was pretty feeling and I enjoyed it.Our server was nice and attentive as well.“
“This is my favorite stop when I’m in town. The owners and staff are amazing, the service is great, and the food even better! Having a one of a kind vegetarian menu this big is amazing. I just wish I was in town more often to try all the things! I was in for lunch a few days ago during a rush when they were short-staffed, and the owners stepped in to handle the surge. We had amazing service. Seriously the best all around.“
“Just a great place to get a brew. They fill growlers for a great price, too.Enjoyed our time here. Everyone was relaxed and nice. Probably one of the better beer selections I've seen in RDU. This almost changed my perspective of Raleigh it was so nice.“
“Very nice place to grab a pint with friends. They turned an old house into a tavern, which gives it a homey feeling. The beer selection is from their brewery as well as some guest taps. As for their beer, they do a nice job with several different styles to choose from. While they did offer a 4 flight, it was limited to a promotion they were having. Would have been nice to be able to flight some of their other taps. However, they do let you have samples of their taps, so that helps. They are pet friendly, inside and out, so that is nice. First time there, but it won't be my last.“
“Amazing environment for a brewery! Very unique with great prices on drinks!! There's different games in every room that you can play while you drink, as well as a free use pool table. I've always wanted to go into the exclusive offices inside the bank, & now you can! Bartender was extremely nice & attentive as well, overall 10/10 experience for sure. Will definitely be back!“
“We hired El Rey del Taco for our wedding rehearsal dinner and they were amazing!! The tacos were delicious and all our guests loved them! We had them come to our venue and it made the rehearsal dinner run smoothly so we could all stay in one place. Jorge and Maria were easy to work with and the staff was all very friendly! We highly recommend them!!“
“Great location (parking may be hectic but it's available). We recommend the roll called Mrs. Woodbury's Fresh Find. Each fusion sushi is enough for one person (though you may want to add a nigiri or classic roll if you are extra hungry).Dietary restrictions: This is a great place for those with gluten allergy or intolerance. They ask about cross contamination of gluten.“
“OK Corner Boys we Gonna have to meet on the Block about these Smoked Ribs & Collard Greens.I had Today 4/16/24 @1235pm My recipe of Smoked Ribs and Collard Greens fell out my back-pocket I turn around and there was a line for Ribs and collards EXPLAIN YOURSELF !! Enjoyed them GOOD JOB ?? see photo OTHER WORDS SEE FOR YOURSELF MY ARE GONE“

“Franklin was the best server I’ve had since the early 2000’s. Franklin had great dish recommendations, which led me to eating the best plate I’ve ever had. The green chilaquiles were better than my motha’s cooking. Don’t even get me started on the world class margs they had. Needless to say…. I’ll be heading over for brunch most weekends. Thank you Franklin for making our experience better than the Red Sox winning the 2004 World Series.“
“I wouldve shared a picture of what i ordered but it didnt make it ?. The smoothies are great, I LOVE how they have combos and a very well organized store , menu and online view and presentation of their shop! Everything is categorized in case you are looking to try a certain thing. Customer service overall was great! As a first time customer I felt very comfortable. I love their positive attitude. Positive vibess . I love it . They help with any questions & have various options ! This is the best nutrition i’ve been in all North Carolina ! Literally .“
“This place is IT! The drinks were some of the most well-balanced cocktails we've ever had. But the absolutely best was the service from Serena. She is the best bartender in the triangle and makes the visit to Dram worth it! Ensure to try one of her mystery “
“THE best stouts around!!!! Amazing Imperial stouts with so many flavors, but beware!!! They are dangerous with ABV’s near 15% for most of them. Stop by the food hall next door for dinner and drop in for a night cap after. If you’re a beer aficionado, then this is a must stop.“
“Must try the smoothie beers here! Their IPAs are decent too if you prefer hoppy brews. I've tried a large range of their beers and not one of them has disappointed! The only downfall to this brewery is the location, which deserves to be more scenic.“
“I stopped in while passing through on my way back to Alaska. Had a fantastic experience, made all the better by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I received helpful recommendations, was able to go on a quick tour, and thoroughly enjoyed my visit in its entirety. As someone who didn't know the local scene and semi-randomly selected Trophy based on google stars and the name, I had absolutely no regrets and would return in a heartbeat.“
“I absolutely love their pretzels, but this is also a great place for someone looking to hang out with friends and trying something new to drink, something familiar, or looking for a challenge over time to get your plate on the wall. Good food selection.“
“Great vinyl shop with an amazing beer selection, especially IPAs. Michael is a true, genuine good guy that takes the time to talk to customers and has a HUGE heart! Your amazingly kind gesture today means more than you know to me and my family! Thank you!“
“Wow the food was amazing! I love Nigerian food although I haven't had it in years. I found this spot on Google and skeptically tried it out. The guy promised me I would be back and I definitely will be. The food was tasty and the portion size was worth the money. I had Jolif rice w/ bang bang shrimp, collards, Mac n cheese. Also had some spinach stew everything was AMAZING! I'm stuffed right now.. Definitely worth the try.“
“The staff is always super friendly, the food is excellent, the beer specials are some of the cheapest in the area, the restaurant itself looks cool and the outside seating area is really nice. I really, really like this place.Vegetarian options: Solid vegetarian selection but most sandwiches can be ordered with vegetarian protein instead of meat.“
“I love the ice cream here, I only docked one star because I wish they had more non dairy flavors (it has been vanilla only the past two months) other than their sorbet. The staff is normally very friendly, but they seem to be on their phones a lot and aren't washing their hands before serving customers after touching their phones. Overall, I recommend, I just suggest less phone use and more non dairy flavors.“
“My husband stumbled on Iris one day and we have been absolutely dedicated to this shop ever since. It is clear from the moment you walk in, that coffee is king and creativity key. The time and consideration they spend curating unique, high quality, experimental flavors is obvious from the moment you order to the last sip you take. They focus on quality over quantity, and execute that mission perfectly. We love sending people here who are dabbling in 3rd or 4th wave coffee or who are just curious about what that even means. Bryan has always been so good at explaining their process and his enthusiasm is contagious. Highly recommend trying their sandwiches as well! Love this place ❤️“
“I got donuts delivered for Valentine’s Day and they were absolutely perfect. My favorite was the pecan chocolate turtle and my fiancé’s was the lemon poppyseed, but they were all super good. We love these sourdough brioche style donuts because they’re moist, light and fluffy, and not overly sweet. We had bought some of their donuts previously at Idle Hour, but you get the best selection if you pre-order the day before. It’s awesome that they also offer delivery in addition to pick up at Idle Hour. I’m excited to hear that they’re going to be opening their own shop, I highly recommend!“
“Not only is the food incredible, but great vibes as well! OBSESSED with their QR code on the table ordering system. It's what makes Standard our first choice for a dinner out with a big group (so easy to have seperate tabs) and our first choice to pop in for a quick snack and a drink (no waiting for someone to bring us our check)! Even though no one comes to the table to take your order, the staff is on point and always there to help if you need it!“
“This is a nice brewery in an unexpected place. We turned down a few roads and arrived at a strip mall where this brewery is located. It is very spacious both indoors and outdoors. They are also kid and dog-friendly. (There were families and dogs spread out in the expansive outdoor area). There was also a food truck parked on the corner. They have a variety of beer to choose from and they are located on the wall. I like how they display the beer. The only downfall was the plastic cups we received. There were half and half of plastic versus glass cups. People would go and get a new beer and come out with a plastic cup and then the next time would be glass. I would prefer glass over plastic. Not sure the reasoning behind not using only glass or only plastic. I'm not sure if we will be back but it would be nice when the weather is nice and you can enjoy the outdoor area.“
“Went for brunch and was so inspired by the banana bread french toast, I went home and made my own. It was a bit dry for my taste, would've preferred they soaked the bread longer to make it a softer more pleasant chew. Also had the steak and eggs. Steak was too chewey. A thin ribeye works better for steak and eggs. Overall satisfied and would like to try more of the money, but I wasn't blown away by anything. The vibe is great, and I enjoyed the different moods different seating areas offered.“
“!!!Validate parking or get a ticket!!!.Burger was good, the meat was quality and ingredients actually had taste..Nachos were ALOT of food for the price and also good.. Chicken on the chicken sandwich was dry and bland by itself. My only complaint.Atmosphere was great, but make sure you validate your parking!“
“Amazing variety, diverse pursuit of a good time & academically rich clientele environment specializing in NC State’s finest availability - to young adults willing to concentrate their knowledge.Come in, grab a drink, & study hard in this place. If you don’t, I will, frfParking: Free after 8 pm. Park in the honors quadrant lot at NC State, outside of Clark, outward facing away from university, towards Western Blvd. .Well-kept secret, the outer spots are owned by Pullen Park. Free.Kid-friendliness: Located between North Raleigh and a state university.Wheelchair accessibility: Close to main Hillsborough St. sidewalk, obviously worth the 30 ft. push, & door is big enough. So are you!“
“Location may make this taproom less than desirable to some, but they're missing out. The beers are great and it's one of the biggest taprooms in Raleigh. No matter how many people are there, it never feels crowded. The addition of food trucks makes it even better. This place is a great low key hangout if you want good beers and good people.“
“Saw this place out of the corner of my eye today after having never noticed it over the years (it's a little tucked away). Stopped in on a whim because I like checking out local spots. The place is cozy and casual, with friendly staff and the chili and grilled cheese combo was quite good. I'll be back for the ribs sometime soon.“
“Listen.... don't hesitate. I moved here from Raleigh and nooooooo Starbucks. I decided to pop in to try a Caramel Machiatto. Well.... mom and pop cafes usually beat the big guys, and this little spot did NOT disappoint! Go! The menu is amazing. Customer service amazing. Like.... just go“
