“I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon craving some noodle soup on a cold day. I was a bit nervous with the lack of people eating inside, but after eating I was wondering why there wasn't more people. The food was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and I slurped them up till there was nothing left. The egg roll was hot and fresh, and left me wanting more. I got some takeout for my fiancé and I definitely plan to order more. I absolutely recommend eating here - take out or dining in.“

“This review is long overdue, moved to n.c 2 years ago and we looooove chinese food as our go to take out meal. Was hard at first to find a chinese restaurant in the area we felt matched the style and flavor we have liked for years. But then we took a chance at bamboo house skeptical at first that a small dated shopping center area would have good restaurants but Wooooooow ! 9/10!!! We loveeee the food!! We have eaten what feels like dozens and dozens of different chinese restaurants and buffets throughout the United states and the number 1 on our list is a similar chinese take out in new jersey that blew us away!!! But bamboo is a solid number 2 or 3 on our list. As long as we live in greensboro this will be our regular spot! Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!“

“I ordered the beef lo mein, and as the store name implies, it "taste good".
I called in my order and arrived about 10 mins after, I was quoted an oddly specific time of 7 mins. However, when I arrived I waited about 10 more mins for the food. That being said, it was fresh so I'm not complaining.
The lobby isn't what you would call inviting or necessarily clean. The menu is old printed paper with typos but they also have the classic menu at the counter. See attached pics.
They do try to distract you from the 90 health rating with a decoration hanging in front of it.“

“Have been eating here for years and generally the food is satisfactory. The environment isn't all that grand but the wings and other dishes are great, fresh and generous. The house special fried rice is spectacular. My issue is with the pricing and delivery fees. If you order from a food delivery app expect to pay nearly $10 in delivery cost (+tip) and pay nearly twice as much for the food than you would in person. I don't understand why they do this extreme markup but it feels disrespectful to the customer. Every app usally has a service fee or inflated prices per item but no where near this. Only get take out from here and always check receipts before accepting food.“

“I ordered through DoorDash, the food was still hot upon arrival. I ordered chicken wings with shrimp lo mein, the lo mein was very good and flavorful. I rate it 4 stars because the chicken was a little salty other than that everything was good I would definitely order again. My new Chinese restaurant before I was driving 15-20 minutes to the north side of town to get food.“

“We’ve tried several Chinese food places in the area and have decided this is our favorite. Some places have one item that we’d say is good. Asian Wok is good for anything we order. They do have a few small tables, but I recommend for take out.“

“This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Greensboro. I picked up, ordered delivery and ordered through DoorDash. Each time the food is hot and delicious. This time I ordered through DoorDash because they had a small discount. My friend got the Sesame chicken that came with an egg roll. I got a small chicken and broccoli with wings. They never disappoint!

“The staff greeted me with a smile and was very polite. I asked for my wings to be fried crispy! When I got my food, not only was it fried extra crispy, the food was still hot as if they just came out the fryer. I am very pleased with their service.“

“I’ve been going here for the food since 2012 not once have I experienced bad service or bad food. The food is always fresh and always tastes great. The older woman behind the counter is always so sweet and fort spoken 10 stars if I could.

“I have been picking up the home style bean curd with vegetables and substituting vegetable lo mein for the rice for several years. It's beyond awesome! I eat several meals from it. The staff are cheerful. I so enjoy.

“Update 2: The manager has been very thorough to make this right and I GREATLY appreciate it. They refunded me otp and sent me confirmation/proof of the refund. I’ll give 4 stars for now, but I look forward to leaving a 5-star review on an order in the future.

Update: The manager called me and offered a refund and a free scallion chicken meal for next time. I appreciate him for informing me of what happened (new cook which is understandable) and making the effort to make it right. I’ll update to 4 stars once the refund goes through. Thanks!

I’m usually happy with my orders from here but unfortunately this was horrible. I ordered a scallion chicken combo and it is EXTREMELY salty. It tastes NOTHING like the scallion chicken I usually get from here. I have no idea what happened here but it’s literally inedible. The chicken was soft too, but completely ruined by the sauce. Unfortunate money wasted. I gave 2 stars because maybe tonight was just an off night.“

“FANTASTIC We’ve been to many Asian and sushi restaurants, this is one of the absolute best meals we’ve had. The dumplings were phenomenal! The wrappers were thin, perfectly crisped and full of flavor. The pad Thai, drunken noodles and sushi were top notch. The hibachi chicken was absolutely the best we’ve ever had. Thank you, we will certainly try our best to come back for another visit!!“

“My wife and I eat here all the time since we live so close. I’ve never had a bad experience after eating here for close to 5 years. I usually order through beyond menu and I’ve never had anything be wrong in my order or had bad food. I’ve tried the egg drop soup, lo mein, general tso, fried rice, and fried/steamed dumplings and all of them were great!“

“Your standard Chinese restaurant atmosphere, it was clean, staff was nice. Personally, I didn't like the food as much as other places I've been (ex: China Cafe, Hong Kong, Gourmet China) so I wouldn't come back, but others I know like the food.

Also, the egg drop soup tastes way more sesame than most places“

“Been a while since I'd visited Szechuan Kitchen and I have to say the food is better than I last remember. My order was prepared fresh, piping hot, and ready to go quickly. Service was friendly. I imagine that security has been an issue for them at some point. All the staff is behind plexi-glass or plastic. You'll need ti slide your credit card through a tiny slit under the glass if using credit. Orders are carry out. There are a few chairs to sit in as you wait for your meal but it seems most call in or order online. All together, it was delicious and a decent value.“
