“Hidden gem in the Oak Hall shopping center. This is a place I would travel far to come to. The food is fantastic and the people are so friendly. You should definitely check this place out the next time you're in Holly Springs or North Carolina for that matter.“
“Great food. We order at least a couple of times a month for the past 11 years. They get special orders just right for our picky eaters. We usually get egg rolls, dumplings, shrimp or house special lo mein, kung pao shrimp, orange chicken, and hunan beef.“
“Lovely staff with a lot of "regulars " coming in. Food was very good. Nothing overly unique but that's not what I look for when getting Chinese food! Will be back.Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegi and "diet" options.“
“I drove 45 minutes to this authentic northwest specialty restaurant with the intention of trying it out! I tasted my mother's taste~I shed tears because I've been craving it for so many years! I grew up in the Northwest! I haven’t encountered an authentic northwest snack here in decades! I had lunch and bought meals for tomorrow~ It’s great “
“Had a lot of fun here with the wide variety of dishes to pick from. The menu can be a little intimidating at first, but honestly, just look at pictures and go with whatever you think will be good. Personally, I liked the dry noodle dishes better, but that's just because I'm not a huge broth person. The noodles were great, they are all very "slurpable", and it was kind of fun to experience the cartoon-like feeling of slurping noodles and have them glide. Really cool place, would recommend to try it out!“
“I thought the food was wonderful. Our order was taken quickly, the food arrived hot and the restaurant was clean. I was not offered a refill and I was annoyed with the server because she sat behind the register and was on her phone. Oh well.“
“Orient Garden is truly the best Chinese take out restaurant I’ve been to. I recently moved and there are probably 10 other Chinese restaurants very close by, but I drive the extra distance for Orient Garden. The sesame chicken is my favorite. It is crispy, the chicken is good quality, and you can actually taste the sesame flavor. The fried rice is always very fluffy and fresh. My only suggestion would be to add sides of the veggies. Such as a half size of the vegetarian delight or broccoli in brown sauce. A full sized entree is usually too much for me, as I’m usually just ordering for myself, and I enjoy a little veg on the side.“
“I love this place! As a NY transplant, it's been very hard to find good Chinese food with the depth of flavor I remember from up north. New China Chef comes very close to that nostalgic NY flavor. Yuki and her team are friendly and keep the restaurant spotless. Keep up the great work!“
“Google reviews for the win! We were in town and used G to find a good Chinese restaurant and this place is REALLY GOOD. Very authentic — felt like I was in Chinatown ! Lots of Chinese people eating here too which always says a lot. We’ll be back!“
“The spicy hot pot seasoning is super fragrant and delicious! The texture of Xicao is very special, the fat beef and beef short ribs are very fragrant, and my friend thinks the fried frog is delicious.Suitable for everyone to have dinner and have fun together~~“
“Taipei 101 is the best Chinese food experience that I've had in the Triangle in the last few years. When I walked in the door my mouth started watering. Clean but not fancy and the hostess was directing staff in Mandarin. Service was really fast and the food is terrific! The soup dumplings were OK, but the eggplant with basil, beef ho-fun, and, unbelievably you can order straight off the menu without baking ahead, Peking duck were all delicious and authentic. Can't wait to go again! Recommended by an ABC, American born Chinese.“
“Always great food! We get the sweet n sour chicken, beef fried rice and veggie mei fun. I tend to judge a place by its beef fried rice and I’ve tried a half dozen places in the area before finding this gem. We’ve been coming here for years and the food is consistently great!“
“Recently moved to NC from NY and this is the best place I’ve found as of yet. Stay away from the wonton soup but almost everything we have had was great!Lots of noodles/ chicken and Broccoli / sesame Chicken/ Ribs / eggs rolls/ crab Rangoon / 5“
“This is by far the best Chinese take out I have had since living in the Carolinas. Been coming here for years and they have always been consistent.Quality of the food, cleanliness of the kitchen, and customer service is 5 stars.By far the best quality and authentic NY Style pork fried rice I've had, great portions, and great selection. Can't say enough about this place.“
“Quick and friendly service! Decent sushi for a good price.Dietary restrictions: Wide variety of menu options to fit many dietary needsParking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly, staff was very accommodating for our childWheelchair accessibility: Yes, restaurant was wheelchair accessible.“
“Delicious food. Only negative is that the breaded chicken is mostly pieces of breading. Out of my entire dish I had maybe 7 out of the 30 pieces of (chicken) with actual meat inside. Amazing flavor and really great pork fried rice with the combination plate.“
“Didn't go in, but have had multiple orders delivered. The food is fresh, hot, and tasty. I cannot comment on napkin size because it's not relevant. I even got an order wrong, and the store called me to clarify. That doesn't happen anymore.“
“The only thing that I don’t like is the mistreatment of the live animals that are at the “Asian Market Section.” I understand that they are there to be sold to be eaten.(But they don’t have to suffer first).Other than that, Great place for grocery shopping. And the bakery is very delicious.“
“We were craving for some authentic schiuanese cuisine food for sometime now. We got our fix here. Food was fantastic. Got the szheuan Chilli fish , the fried chilli chicken(Their popular item) , eggplant in garlic sauce and the sliced potatoe dish..food had the right amount of flavour and kick to it. Overall a good experience. Will definitely repeat.“
“I like to order from here once a week or so. The food is always very good and it’s done quickly too. The folks who work there/own the place are also very nice and I can tell by the way they interact with each other and with customers that they’re genuinely good people. I always look forward to getting some Young Chow FR from here.“
“The sesame chicken and black pepper chicken are top choices! My boyfriend loves black pepper more , but I love sesame chicken!! Great customer service and super clean restaurant! Strongly recommend for take out for a family dinner or team party!“
“The BEST General Tso Tofu and Sesame Tofu in Cary / Apex / Morrisville. Other wonderful vegetarian and vegan options!Vegetarian options: The BEST General Tso Tofu and Sesame Tofu in Cary / Apex / Morrisville. Other wonderful vegetarian and vegan options!“
“This has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I've tried others in the area and this one by far is the best. The family that runs it has been there since day one and his friendly and welcoming when you come in. I love the beef broccoli and the general tso's chicken. Also, they're hot and sour soup is great for cold days or feeling under the weather. Food is typically ready within 15 to 20 minutes no matter how much you order! Definitely recommend you give them a try!“
“Very clean, delicious food, wouldn’t be bad if the waiters would be more friendly, but overall very nice place to eat . I’m surprised it has so low percentage on reviews. I’d definitely drive again one hour just to eat here. We’ve tried Raleigh restaurants, Cary, and a lot of them in Moore County, this is by far THE BEST .“
“My friends and I came here for the dim sum trolleys during the weekend. It was busy and service was a little scattered where we were seated and got to pick dim sum, but had no silverware, plates, or drinks. This took a while for us to wave staff down and have chopsticks and plates to eat. When the staff finally coordinated and got us plates and chopsticks, we got to try the spring rolls, chicken feet, radish cake, shomai, momo, rice rolls, dan dan noodles, and Chinese broccoli. The chicken feet are meatier than what my friends expected and loved that they could eat more. I enjoyed the radish cakes and spring rolls because of their flavorful filling. The dan dan noodles were also really good. The atmosphere tries to be like a traditional Chinatown setting but more accommodating where they will sing and play music for someone's birthday - which is really nice. I think it's a fun experience for the Triangle experience and enjoyed the meal with my pals.“
“We've lived in Cary for 12 years, and our family has been coming to this restaurant for probably 9 years. We've eaten here about 60 times over many years. The family who runs it is very nice and uses fresh vegetables always. We've always had a good meal here, it is always very flavorful. Ignore the negative comments, this is good Chinese food. The other Chinese restaurants in the area have more bland or flat tasting food. Try it and you will not be disappointed. You will enjoy it. And please don't say someone is rude because they are from another culture and don't roll out the red carpet for you when you walk in.“
“First time visiting, walked in and placed large order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was given free dessert which was much appreciated. The food was excellent and the wait time only minutes. Great experience, definitely going back.“
“For take out Chinese food it was amazing!I have been disappointed with the Asian food over here, because there was such a great selection where I came from. One of the perks from living in the Seattle area is that there is a large Asian population, so the demand for good Asian food is much higher than here in the Raleigh area. It was becoming quite disappointing to go to Asian restaurants here and have sub par food. I'm glad I found this place. Jumbo China reminds me of some of the good Asian take out places from where I grew up.The pork fried rice was on the same level as the best pork fried rice I have had where I grew up.The sesame chicken was very good. I have had better in Seattle, but not here in North Carolina. Plus it was better than my average experience taste wise in Seattle. So, while not as good as the pork fried rice, it was still delicious. The egg roll... I'm not a fan of egg rolls, so I'm not the best at giving them a review. I have had better, but I would say they weren't bad, just average...*Understand that Sit down Asian restaurants are very different than take out restaurants... I don't rate a take out restaurants the same as a sit down one. Different factors are taken into account, and quite honestly I don't expect as high of quality due to them not being able to control when the food will be eaten vs a sit down restaurant having the food eaten immediately after it being made. things have to be made differently due to that being the case, so I'm only comparing it to other Chinese take out restaurants.*“
“Consistently fantastic food. We order out here at least once a week and the food is always excellent and fresh. The best Chinese takeout in the area. The man behind the counter is always very very friendly and welcoming and treats his customers right. Love that man.“
