I asked for the special BD offer. Mgr explained the procedure to get this promotion. However she made a exception which impressed me as well as the birthday boy. Food excellent, server I called Ebony (wrong name) smiled and brought all things requested in a timely fashion without the usual look of give me a chance. The 5ft 3 Mgr made small talk with BD boy. “Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with our friends. The restaurant is in an older antique home in Huntersville close to the highway. We were greeted at the door by the host/owners very friendly and sat with our group of seven in a small very private area ( as are most) in a series of dining rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable chairs. Our hostess immediately came over and took our drink order. There was a large selection of wines by both glass and bottle and both cocktails and regular beverages served from a large bar at the rear of the restaurant. The menu selections were wide and varied and the hostess informed us of three additional special entrees for the evening . For appetizers we ordered garlic bread with a traditional dipping oil and calamari with red sauce both were great . All the entrees were served together and were the best Italian food we have tasted outside of Italy anywhere. A lot of there sauces , desserts and breads are made on premises. There was water goblets as soon as we arrived at the table. Service was excellent, food was delicious and remarkable. Would not hesitate to go back. Prices were outstanding . “I love their chicken salad. I was so disappointed when they took it off their menu. The last time I was there I. asked the manager about it. He said they now run it as a special every other week. And to call each week to see if it was a special well today was my lucky day! I called and it was on special! I have to say I was disappointed when I saw they had cut back on the portion size and cost had gone up. But I wanted it that bad and paid the price! It was still as good as ever. “I have always loved Lancaster’s. The menu is huge and everything is good. Today for lunch I had the BBQ/Brisket combo with collards and green beans. I got it to go, drove 10 minutes away to work to eat it and it was still piping hot. Everything was absolutely delicious!“

“These folks are listed out of Huntersville, but they travel, and I, for one, am extremely grateful for their mobility.They have 2 enormous smokers, and they most definitely know how to use them.Turkey wings, legs, chicken, BBQ, etc. I could go on and on, but I included a close-up shot of their menu for you to look over yourself.They are located on Statesville Ave on Fridays. Right across from the Shell gas station and right next door to Jerry's grocery store in a huge gravel filled lot. There is plenty of room for parking and some picnic tables to sit at as well.The sweet tea is Southern, and the Q is definitely on point, with their own sauce, not quite all Eastern NC style and not quite all Western NC style, but a nice crossover. Loved the potato salad, and the turkey leg was smoked to absolute perfection. You can literally taste the infusion of smokiness in each and every single bite. My co-worker ordered a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries and said they were a big hit as well. The burger actually covered the entire bun. “First time visiting this location of Red Rocks. Saturday afternoon was very attentive. No seating inside at time of visit so was seated outdoors.. which we didn’t mind. Server was respectful and polite. Only problems was ALLLL THE FLIES. Fans were circulating above but not really near tables to serve any purpose other than moving air. Owner/manager greeted everyone which was very nice. But you really got to see what can be done with flies… you could barely get food on your fork up to your mouth before they were all over your plate or trying to get to the fork. That made for an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never ate on any restaurants outdoor area and flies were that bad.“

“Out of the two city barbecue places I visited. They are pretty much consistent. Which is very rare these days. The food was good and they sauces were even better as usual. I love the collard greens whatever they do to it is better than most of the expensive places I've been to recently.“

We tried the caprese, meat lovers, supreme, bbq ranch chicken and cheese and all were really good. The interior is pretty nice, they have flowers vases & according to my sister that they rotate the flowers every season. “We called at 8:30 on a Sunday night from our hotel after 12 hrs of driving not really expecting that they would still be doing deliveries. The young man I spoke with was very polite and patient (our call dropped twice) he even overheard my husband say "Italian" when he asked for salad dressing and I said ranch, he included an Italian dressing!The food was delivered way quicker by a very nice delivery person, the portions were huge and delicious! Just before 6:00, I get a call from Jet’s profusely apologizing, telling me a fresh pizza order would be to me shortly and my card would not be charged. My pizza arrived perfectly hot and fresh not long after, and my kids still got a full night of trick or treat in...just wanted to shout out Jet’s for this above and beyond gesture as I had NO expectation for such a thing, knowing how crazy all the pizza joints were tonight (10/31/20)“
