“Crazy to me that I got the best pad Thai I've had in YEARS at a mini mart type store. Came here when I was feeling under the weather and craving pad Thai and wasn't disappointed. So much food for the price and it was delicious. Got it to go and took a bite of the food while I was driving home and had a hard time stopping myself from eating before I even got to the house- I can't say enough good things. The food really is great and the service is fast.“

“We've ordered take-out twice before and Papa Sammy's is our favorite local pizza place. Decided to eat in this time and we had a BLAST! Our grandson (18 mo) could run around, there were games to play, large tables, plenty of chairs and highchairs to utilize. Great food - we had pizza, mozzerella sticks, fried raviolis and fries. All delicious! Our grandson enjoyed a cake pop on the way out. Thanks Papa Sammy and staff! We'll be back soon!“

“This is a solid neighborhood diner spot. Early AM lots of tradesmen headed through her for a solid breakfast. Sat/Sun mornings can be slammed because they have good biscuits, staff that can properly prepare an egg, and the menu is good and easy to execute come here enough and the staff will know your name. Lots of first names being thrown around as people walked out. I like that in today's heads down world. Good southern cookin' done right.“

“I absolutely love this place. It has had just a few rough periods through the years, but they are still amazing. The quickness of this restaurant is unmatched. We get our food within 15 minutes of sitting down, even after looking throughly through the menu. The togo orders typically have less food, and that would be my only complaint.“

“Now knows as Pies & Sides, we were waiting to get an opportunity to grab some pies as they have limited hours. I grabbed the meat pies and I have to say I am not sorry, they’re delicious. When I was in there the girl that checked me out was very friendly and told me that they will be open later on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings for take out only. All the beans. This meal….when I tell you it brought me back to sitting at my grandmas on a weekend long forgotten, I mean it. This meal transported me through time. My grandma is no longer with me, and to feel connected again after many years…I’m now a loyal customer. The gravy was so flavorful, the beef tips had just the right amount of char and the green beans were fantastic!!My partner got the half BBQ chicken with French fries, mashed potatoes and cornbread. There was nothing left on his plate. I will say the hush puppies were better than the cornbread in my opinion, but I’m a hush puppy lover.Give this place a shot. It’s worth it!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space and I saw coloring and reading books below the hostess stand!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and the entry way is wide. The doors are not automatic but definitely wide and accessible.“
