“I can’t say enough GOOD things about this place. From start to finish our experience was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. We used to live here and were in visiting from Virginia. We love Indian Food so that was the first thing we googled and found this gem! (I wish we had one in the Roanoke Valley!) Our host pulled the chair out for me (such a gentleman), kept our drinks full, kept our table clean throughout our different courses and was quick to check on us throughout our stay. We know good Indian food and this was it! It would do SO WELL in our area. I will definitely be back!”

Chef was friendly and put on a show but minimal interaction until the end. Food was delicious. Best hibachi I've had in awhile. I'm in southeast Virginia and we don't have any really good spots. Family in south Carolina and they have good hibachi. I visit Jacksonville semi-regularly and expect to be back again if the timing is right.”

“When we want steak in Jacksonville, we come to LongHorn.
Last night, my partner and I came for dinner. For a Sunday night, it was busy, but we were seated almost immediately. Our server, Liz, was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our meal. When we told her we both had allergies, she immediately made a note and said "thank you for telling me". Before our food came out, the manager Rick came over to confirm the specifics of my partner's allergy before he allowed anything to come to the table, as there was more risk to his with what we ordered. The porterhouse was perfectly cooked, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were fantastic, and we both had to take to go boxes.

We have always had incredible experiences here, from the wait staff, the food, and management. They go above and beyond for their customers, and we will happily come back.

“I mostly don't do reviews but when I do, it deserves more than 5 stars. After my husband and I found this place, we go here alot. We love Kele, Ricky, and Jeanette (sure we will love the others once we meet them), they are amazing and so sweet. We love getting to talk to them when we come in. So many different drinks to try, can't get bored of the selections. If you don't know what drink you want, they will tell you ideas. Highly recommend!!”

“We went for lunch and it wasn't very busy. The food wasn't bad. The atmosphere feels like you're supposed to have a glass of wine with whatever you're having. The service was slightly on the slow, at the time of our visit, but overall it was alright. We'd like to come back in the evening time for one of the various events & see how that is.”

“Only reason I’m giving a 5 star is because of the great customer service from the lightskin manager with the braids that was working tonight (she was very polite and understanding even gave us extra wings!) However, the workers that works the to go/curbside pickup tonight completely ignored my husband the first time he went in there to see when the food would be done and weren’t very friendly. We waited for our food for an hour and still hadn’t gotten any response on when it would be done (they supposedly never even dropped the wings) until my husband asked for the manager. We ordered bone in wings and ended up with boneless. Thank you to the manager though! She needs a raise.”

After a few seconds the flavor hit my mouth and it was fabulous, I loved it. And to top that off I went outside as I drank my frappe and enjoyed the waterfront. As I was leaving the lady at the counter asked me to please come again and I said absolutely. Great coffee, great environment and great experience what more could we ask for. Her knowledge of quantities, items that are best sellers in a situation like mine, and how to display and set it up were all handled by the team at American Dream Cakes. The dessert table was a complete success! My people are still raving about how delicious everything was. There were no leftovers! What people didn’t eat, they took home for later. I have one person still craving their cream puffs! Gunilla, I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make the dessert table at our reunion one that will be remembered for years to come! BUT we decided last night to give them another try since they are in the new restaurant now and they are only 5 mins from our home…. Boy… am I glad we did! BEST FOOD OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!! We got the bangin shrimp plate, fried ocra, a BBQ sandwich, the dinner special they had going on (I believe hamburger steak), Mac n cheese and hush puppies. The bangin shrimp was so good that we are going back in another day for our anniversary. All of the food was amazing to the point we’ve invited our family to drive 3 hours here to visit us and eat here so they can see just how GOOD this food is. That fried ocra is the best you’ll ever have and the BBQ sandwich was so good! Oh we also got the BBQ nachos and my goodness, my pregnant self was so happy with those as well. If you haven’t given them another shot since the food truck, you are truly missing out! They are officially our new go to. Thank you for amazing food!”

“What a hidden gem! I was thoroughly impressed with their homemade milkshakes. My kids and I stopped in spontaneously after doing a quick gps search for “fast food”. We came across Nina’s and decided to make it a sweet snack and ordered a vanilla, a coffee, and two chocolate milkshakes. TLDR: Food quality has improved drastically and temperature and the environment is nice compared to the last few years. Give it another shot if you stopped coming around 1-2 years ago. It has changed!

I have been going here with my family for years. It was good up until COVID and then they had a bit of a rough patch where it was hot, the food quality was passable and it was not a pleasant experience. We stopped coming around a year or two ago and have only now decided they were with another try and can I say, there has been much improvement.

The temperature is. Nice in the building now and not hot. The servers are attentive and polite. The food quality has gone up substantially, the food tastes fresh and no longer feels like it has been sitting out all day. Can I just mention their slices of cake? They. Are. Delicious... Before they were not that good and dry, and I honestly would come just for the cake slices now.

I know I talked about the heat, but a few years ago, it smelt like sewage and was muggy. The floors were damp and it felt like your shoes stuck Everytime you stepped. It seems they have foxes their drain issues as the floors are nice and it no longer stinks! They also have an incense mister at the front, which is a nice touch.

Sadly, there is no longer bread and the sodas now come in a can, but to be honest, I am fine with that change as everything else has improved so drastically.

If you stopped coming during their rough times in the past few years, give them another shot and be amazed!”
