“I've been living off Battleground/Lawndale for 10 years and never went here until recently. I was so happy I finally found them. Their food is delicious and the customer service is phenomenal. I really enjoy going to lunch here and they are my new #1 go to for Chinese! Highly recommend.“
“The food is not just authentic Sichuan and some other regional Chinese, but cooked with a very high level of skill. The 干煸四季豆 is the most beautiful example of this dish I have eaten in over 40 years of eating this dish, including in China. I think I tasted green Sichuan peppercorns, quite a treat. I look forward to trying many more things on the menu. The service, in the several times I've been, has been unfailingly helpful, and the place itself, while nothing fancy, is clean and shiny, with booths, windows. I haven't tried all the Chinese restaurants in town (most of them, a quick look tells you all you need to know), so there may be another great one I haven't found, but I haven't been terribly eager to do an exhaustive search either, because this one could easily be the best.“
“The best fast chinese food in the Triad, true to the NY Style but you can assure you’re not going to get assaulted or harassed by riding the subway home.Spent 1/3 less here for dinner on the lunch specials after spending over 40 on a sub par Thai food lunch at another spot. The lunch specials can’t be beat, protein, veggies, carbs for 9.00 oh yeah !!“
“I am from Brooklyn, NY and our Chinese food is unmatched! BUT because of that I know the difference between GOOD CHINESE FOOD & Just okay or as “Chimetime” would say “MID”This food from this business was so delightful to eat! Chicken wings 10/10!!! Combination platter size 10/10!!! I truthfully enjoyed my meal (General Tso w/ chicken fried rice)… even the egg roll was the correct size not skinny like most of these Chinese restaurants in Greensboro. For 2 years I was eating at the only Chinese restaurant on Lawndale that I thought was the only one servicing 27455. SADLY MISTAKEN!Wish I found this Gem earlier“
“They offer a wide variety of vegetarian options, but some desserts may not be up to par. Most probably not properly handled. The space is big enough to accommodate large number of people at the same time.Parking tip: they have a big parking lot. No worries!Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options.Parking: Lot of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“This is my favorite local restaurant in Archdale! They have the best quality food of any Chinese restaurant we’ve ever been at. Their prices are so reasonable for large family orders and everything is always fresh and ready to go. We call in our order and always pick up at the drive-through. Lots of extra sauces and if you’re looking for brown rice you need to order their house specialty brown rice it cost a little bit more but it is so well worth it we’ve been happy with them for the last six years and recommend them highly!“
“Our server Lowell made the visit extraordinary! He greeted us enthusiastically and continued to pay attention to our every need throughout the ENTIRE dining experience. We drove almost 2 hours to shop in the area and will definitely check to make sure Lowell can wait us before coming back ... he was that good!!!“
“Tonight was the first time ordering from here through DoorDash- I’m not feeling well, and needed a nice hot meal. I ordered the egg drop soup, chicken noodle soup and the 2 meats with Lou mein dinner combo. PHENOMENAL. YOU WONT REGRET IT. Thank you so much FC! I will be back for another order from my new Chinese restaurant spot! xo“
“First timer! I absolutely loved their sushi. for the pricing, it was definitely worth it! The service was amazing. Our server always came and checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The food came quickly, and it was absolutely delicious!“
“This is hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had! The meat was a great quality and cooked beautifully and the staff were incredible! Even the plain white rice was something to be excited to eat! We ordered the pork in garlic sauce which was absolutely amazing and stole the show! The crab rangoons were cooked perfectly and had an amazing flavor, the egg drop soup is TO DIE FOR! Also this is the only place I'll be getting chicken on a stick, which is a nostalgic food for us that has only gotten better! Thank you Huang's Kitchen for putting love into what you serve!“
“This restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes, including both American Chinese food and authentic Cantonese cuisine. The service is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. While the decor may appear dated, it is well-maintained and adds to the homey atmosphere of the establishment. Overall, this restaurant provides a delightful dining experience with its delicious food and welcoming ambiance.“
“I ordered from here twice this week and I can say the quality and great customer service is consistent! They answer the phone with pleasant customer service and unrushed. The price and food portions are unbeatable. Fast delivery and I wasn't able to get to the door quickly Working from home; however, I found the delivery driver waited a little on the stairs to make sure I got my food. I ordered boneless spare ribs, and a few egg rolls the first time, and this time I decided to add the Buffalo wings which were a great size. All my sauces as requested were in the bag and the food was great. Will definitely be my go to! Thank you for great service all around which is very rare these days!“
“Ordered pepper steak and rice for delivery to the hospital. The food is good but the fork is small and it broke as soon as I tried mixing rice in with peppers, onions and steak. Now I have leftovers because of no utensils available from the “
“Japanese food is one of my favorite types of food, especially hibachi. Oftentimes when I think of getting Japanese food, I think of the sit-down, cook it in front of you restaurants. Tokyo Express is not like that. It still has a sit-down option, but they do not cook it in front of you. It is much more affordable than many other Japanese restaurants and still tastes very good!“
“It was Friday, I wanted fish/shrimp, and I didn't feel like cooking. So I went to GrubHub and started looking for somewhere new to me, with good ratings. And up pops Cajun Seafood and Grill. So I placed an order for delivery. Upon arrival, the entire order was delivered hot. The swai and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection. I had fries and hush puppies as sides and coleslaw/vegetable egg rolls as extras and all were delicious. 5 Star Kudos...Thank You. 'Til next time ! GrubHub delivery service and driver was great as usual.“
“The food is the best as always but im so sick of spending my money and cant get a full tub of gravy for my foo yung its beyond me how they don't even give you enough for the 4 paties they are giving you and not to put sauces in there ? that is just bad service and lazy, Treat us with respect for the money we spend please and thank “
“Okay, so the outside may look a little suspect, especially since it's in a run down shopping center, but they always get the food out quick and it's always very tasty. I mostly get the chicken with cashew and I've never heard any of my friends say anything negative about the food. It's a great hole in the wall.“
“the best chinese food around. we order from here almost once a week. the honey chicken is soooo crispy and saucey. love the wonton soup, as well. the food is always prepared quickly and accurately and the staff is super friendly. could not recommend this place enough!“
“In addition to their Shrimp Egg Foo Young being the ABSOLUTE best outside NYC, the Wonton Egg Drop Soup is to die for. Chu's customer service is unrivaled. It gets a little busy, with online orders and drive up but the standard of service never diminishes. The bad reviews are trite, and might be referring to the other Chu's Express (Westchester). If you want great Chinese food from a spotless restaurant, with excellent take away service... "You Gotta Eat Here!" My husband raves about the Curry dishes and the combo platters, which are reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are extensive.Parking: Lots of close parking spaces in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Right at the door.Dietary restrictions: They are concerned and prepare your food as requested.“
“This review is long overdue, moved to n.c 2 years ago and we looooove chinese food as our go to take out meal. Was hard at first to find a chinese restaurant in the area we felt matched the style and flavor we have liked for years. But then we took a chance at bamboo house skeptical at first that a small dated shopping center area would have good restaurants but Wooooooow ! 9/10!!! We loveeee the food!! We have eaten what feels like dozens and dozens of different chinese restaurants and buffets throughout the United states and the number 1 on our list is a similar chinese take out in new jersey that blew us away!!! But bamboo is a solid number 2 or 3 on our list. As long as we live in greensboro this will be our regular spot! Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!“
“An absolute hidden gem— how come I’ve never heard of this restaurant? The inside was beautiful; white cloth tables, cultural interior designs, etc. This spot is perfect for a date night. We enjoyed the lovely service and food. Would love to visit again. You are provided warm hands towels after eating and I thought that was a very thoughtful touch to the service.Parking: We could not find parking on a Thursday night, so I could just imagine the weekend. This restaurant is located near other busy spots.“
“Van Loi II, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, stands out as one of the authentic and flavorful Vietnamese restaurants in our town. It proudly offers an exceptional rendition of Pho, the renowned Vietnamese noodle soup. The service quality varies based on the cashier, with some demonstrating remarkable speed and attentiveness, while others fall short. However, the establishment is situated in a questionable neighborhood, which may give some diners pause. Additionally, improved ventilation and more rigorous cleaning practices would enhance the overall dining experience. For optimal freshness, I recommend avoiding weekday visits.“
“I've been going there for years and haven't had any problems or issues. They are nice and my food was always good. The wings of late haven't been as good as I remember, but my shrimp with lobster sauce is always great! It's one of my favorite Take-Out places. I Like the place! -Gene B“
“Food was great! They have a fairly large selection of sushi as well as Chinese food and Hibachi. My favorite thing from the buffet was the coconut shrimp, i like that the shrimp are in a creamy coconut sauce instead of regular shrimp fried with a coating of coconut flakes. Salmon was a bit slimy but all of the nigiri and rolls tasted clean and fresh. 25 bucks for lunch buffet on Saturday with a drink.. not a bad deal at all. Especially considering the selection of food that the offer! ?“
“I have tried so many Chinese food places here in Greensboro and to me Chang Express has some of the best chicken. I have never had a bad experience with customer service. The lady behind the counter is always friendly and smiling when I do carryout. This place is definitely one of my go-to places.“
“Neat little spot tucked in the corner. The lemon pepper wings are a must as is their lemonade. You will need to buy a half gallon and an extra cup for the ride home. Yes, it's that good! They don't skimp on their servings and the prices are great.“
“With a family full of allergies it is hard to find good Chinese food thar can accommodate. Chens Express on Stanley is amazing. The labeled all the meals, and made suggestions for substitutions on items to help avoid all of our allergies.Great food, great pricing, and just wonderful people.Dietary restrictions: They handle food allergies with seriousness and care.“
“I was in a mission, a mission to find the best Sesame Seed chicken I could find in kernersville. I’ve tried all of them but only one could rise above and that was China rose (in kernersville). I’ve never ever tasted such goodness. Delicious perfectly sauced chicken, pork fried rice fried to perfection. One bite and I was in heaven. If there was a Best Sesame Chicken Award, chine rose won first prize (in Kernersville). Thank you“
“I went there sometime ago,and actually forgot the name. A friend wanted to take me out on Christmas and usually Chinese restaurants are only open. It was a happy accident that we found Lin's kitchen again. We were both very happy that we did. The food was still great, so was the service and the people are so kind!, and the prices are comparable for the food. I'm sure I'll be back many times. It's a buffet. MomParking: The price was for two and included the It is a buffet I would recommend to anyone.“
“Food is good, Japanese and Chinese as advertised. There is plenty of it and depending on the order (lunch size or dinner size) you may be asking for to-go containers.I specifically love the egg foo young, either chicken or shrimp. Three large omelettes make up a serving, along with the brown sauce/gravy - yum!Atmosphere is ok, busy diner like. Good for families. Nothing fancy.Service could use some improvement but it's more of a case of not enough help, perhaps. They seem rushed. They take care of your needs and do the refills, etc. but I see a strained atmosphere at times, like dropping the food off then running to the next task. There's no relaxed manner.Vegetarian options: Almost everything on menu is either vegetarian or can be ordered without meat“
“This has become our favorite little take-out Chinese place in the GSO area. They are very prompt with making the food, it's all ver delicious but the Hunan Chicken and Szechuan Chicken are my absolute favorite. Good soups and Lo Mein too. Highly recommend.“
