Sit at the bar and order you some California rolls and wash down with a cold beer while watching the game...Parking: Better get there early if you want to park In the parking lot, it's a shared parking lot with a popular bar and karaoke, The Herritage, so it fills up fast. Overflow parking would be on the surrounding streets. “On our way home from the beach, we plotted a course the long way home to some breweries that we have not visited before. Mother Earth, had there beers before, the mainstream regulars but; never the specialty/ seasonal offerings. We were not disappointed, although the brewery did not open until 1pm on Sunday so we walked around the mostly deserted town until they opened. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in a town that is trying to revitalize itself like many other small NC towns. Beer was great, we opted for some high ABV stouts. Atmosphere was open and warm, definitely a nice hang out for the locals.“
“My husband had visited this place numerous times and sent me pictures of his fancy cocktails so when I was in town I wanted to go. It's a tiny little place, about the size and shape of a train car. When we walked in the bar was packed three deep. There was a street festival going on outside and the bartender was absolutely slammed with people ordering drinks and beers to go. Because of that all the drinks were being served in Red Solo cups -- so much for my pretty cocktail. Oh well, I'll just have to go back! I ordered the Bucked in Mexico and it was absolutely delicious. So good. The atmosphere was great -- lots of friendly people, music fitting to a saloon and a nice little outdoor area.“
