“Customer service is awesome! Probably the last Diner for Old School Truckers to appreciate. My husband and I had cheese burgers & fries. Food was great, clean store and awesome service. We will be back! Oh I forgot to mention the Diner is open 24 hours. So hot and fresh not something that’s been on a roller all day or microwaved.“

A little slow but only because they are preparing the food in front of you as it's ordered.Food was great. Custom made to your order.Decor was interesting and well done. “Comfort foods and traditional fare at reasonable prices served quickly. Top notch service and tasty thoughtfully prepared food. Tastes great without a heavy hand on the salt shaker like some places. Food's flavor shines through as it should. No frills dining area appears to have lots of regulars. We plan to keep going and trying new things along with favorites we've enjoyed.“

What can I say -- the food here is absolutely excellent-- typical oub female of burgers chicken sandwiches -- tater tots corn nuggets etc.. -- The bar is is very nice and the entrmire place is well.lit and clean as a whistle -- as I was there food was coming out constantly and quickly -- I had the corn nuggets as a snack and ended up eating the entire basket -- home evade ranch -- and let me say the burgers look mouth watering -- I will be back and I suggest you come as well“

“Wednesday is the day to go. Their Dipped Chicken will make you lick your plate? The baby flounder and white fish are awesome too. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but well with the wait. Slap my mouth awesome! All this with a gorgeous view of the Lake.Parking: Plenty of parking unless you are vying for a spot with those folks just heading to church or just getting out.Kid-friendliness: So many good choices for kids they're too busy eating to misbehave. Staff is very attuned to their needs.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ramp to the inside with plenty of maneuvering room once you're inside. Reserved disabled parking right at the door.“

“First timer to Speedys. We got chopped plate, red slaw, potato salad (puddin'), fries, salad. Must be 2#'s of bbq on the plate. Double portions of sides. Certainly enough for 2 people. Bbq very flavorful but on the dry side. Dip was good but I like mine more thin rather than thick. Red slaw was 10 out of 10. Potato salad puddin was perfect consistency but was missing something. Crinkle fries were excellent especially after adding some seasoned salt that was on the table. Add one star to the review just for having Heinz ketchup. 10 times better than any food service supply brand. Salad was iceberg lettuce, fresh chopped tomatoes, cheddar cheese and pickle relish or chopped pickles with Ken's Golden Italian. Another good brand instead of food service dreck. Service was telepathic. The ladies knew what I wanted before I did. Fresh, hot, hush puppies too. I was starvin' and could not have had better or faster food. We will be back soon.“

“Walked up to the food stand and got greeted as a rookie eater had to get me 2 hotdogs and a cheeseburger and a drink 14$ they have lots of deals that's good for the whole family I will definitely be coming back here to eat next time I have work in the area and love the people there love there mood while working very uplifting!!“

“This is a great family owned restaurant! They are currently only opened during the week but are looking to add Saturday hours.They bake yeast rolls for buns, garlic bread, and pizza crust fresh daily. The roast beef sandwich is one of the best things you will find in this earth for the price!The desserts are amazing too. Try both cookie skillets AND the hot fudge cake featuring great grandma’s recipe!We drive 51 miles round trip from Greensboro to eat there. Go there once and you will feel like a regular!“

“amazing! we had stopped coming to this location a few years ago. tonight we decided to try again.i am so glad we did- completely different experience 100 percent upgrade. more staff better staff and food was fantastic! shelby our waitress was training a new employee and we could not have had a better experience. if something wasn’t perfect she was on top of it. we did not have not one complaint.amazing.“

“Super duper cool place! Love the decor and vibe, as well as a very nice chef and waiter/bartender. He gives free samples of the drinks too. Number 13 is amazing.The crab cake sandwich and gouda mac n cheese was great. They also had a delicious key lime cheesecake delivered fresh, while I was there.So happy I finally tried this gem of a place in our sweet little town!Cannot wait to go back to try more!!You should check it out too!!“

“I absolutely loved eating here. I always get the chicken taco salad and they make their shells homemade there. The food and service is always great and if you have a issue see the head person in charge and they will make it right for you. The atmosphere is comfortable and they treat you as if you are family. There was no wait in line to be seated. “We went on a Friday night and it was really packed but I'm going to safely assume that is because the food was friggin AMAZING! That and we went right around when everyone goes out for dinner so I expected it to be busy.Now in the price section of this review I selected the $30-$50 option but we actually got the fillet dinner for two which came with appetizers, main course and dessert which ran close to $100 before tax and tip. However most of the items are not THAT expensive, just depends on what you get..........but let me tell you, the entire meal was *muah* chef's kiss............ SPECIALLY the fillet!I don't remember our servers name but she was fantastic, practically read our minds when we needed drinks or anything for that matter. Plus had a great sense of humor. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“I recently went there for a free Medicare for Boomers presentation. Prior to that, it had been years since I had eaten there because I hadn't cared for the food (I can't remember now what I ordered back then). This time, however, I was overall satisfied with my dinner: fried flounder / shrimp combo with baked potato and coleslaw. Plenty on the plate, so I left there full. If I go back again, though, I would probably opt for something broiled or baked.“

“I ordered the big breakfast (sumn)? lol. It came with two sides, two meats, a choice of toast or pancakes. I had toast! The food was tasty. My eggs were browned, only downside, because I asked for scramble. Well done (I guess??‍♀️). And I say enough to feed me, and two-three toddlers depends on how much one eats! I paid about 11-12 bucks for my plate I as well ordered an orange juice, which in total cost me $15.00 for a meal and refreshment drink. Have some good crushed ice! Haha, I recommend, although I'd like to try some of their BBQ and beans one day, maybe next time, if I'm ever delivering or picking up in that area from the paper mill. Was a nice parking lot, Bobtailed, so if you're a trucker, don't bring the trailer only Bobtail! Great way to spend time with trainees while being loaded for hours! Oan, they apply automatic gratuity if using a card payment!Kid-friendliness: Nice and clean and welcoming atmosphere!!! The decorations and paintings should have a kid entertained!“

“Normally I get bone-in wings whenever I go but today I wanted something different. I got the chicken quesadilla and I’m glad I did! It was so good. It had plenty of cheese, onions, and peppers. I love coming here because the food is always good and the service is always great.“

When I got to the window, I could see that she was working very very hard, taking orders, filling the orders, ringing them up and handing the food out the window.
